Recently Gerald Flurry declared a fast in order to force his god into allowing the Philadelphia Church of God to open a new institute in Israel. That fast was a deliberate attempt to force the god of Flurryism to do what Flurry wants, after all, "he is Eliakim and that God gives him “extra authority to open and shut doors”; that he is a father to the inhabitants of Judah, and that God has a work for him to do in Israel."
It is always so delightful to watch these self-appointed fools leading COG's today get their comeuppance.

Concerning the November 21 letter “Members Fasting Today / GF’s Need for New Stimulation,” it looks like God may have responded to their fast.
GF said in his co-worker letter [see November 8 and November 13 letters above] that he wanted to make sure God is behind what they had decided to do.
First of all, he said that he already decided to start his Armstrong Mazar Institute in Jerusalem, rather than seek God’s will on this fast day. He wanted to make sure God was behind his decision and, in other words, he wanted to petition God to get in line and back his decision.
It seems God has responded with a big fat NO! Within a few days of their fast, an omicron [i.e., small] variant of the coronavirus was identified, and now Israel has shut their borders! How will they do this work in Judah that they keep going on about?
As Flurry stated in his December 5, 2019 co-worker letter, referring to Isaiah 22:20-22, that he is Eliakim and that God gives him “extra authority to open and shut doors”; that he is a father to the inhabitants of Judah, and that God has a work for him to do in Israel.
Never mind the fact that he thought the first building was the “open door”; then that fell through so he switched to another building and when that, too, fell through, he said there was no building and that the relationship with David Be’eri was the open door.
Once coronavirus hit the scenes, he was shut out of Israel and his work came to a stop there. Once again, he’s trying to dupe his followers into thinking that God is opening up Israel for him.
It is clear to even “blind Freddy” that God is not with the PCG, that God is not supporting their work, that God is not answering their prayers and that Gerald Flurry is a mere weak man with no authority to do anything in Israel. History has proven this and history tells us that he will never to do a work in Israel and his followers are deluded to believe so.
It is time for people to wake up to the fact that there is no open door and that Flurry and his goons are con artists and scammers. They have no interest in doing anything for God. They are simply in it for themselves. There is no reward for those who follow him. –M.K.

Gerald Flurry wanted the door to preaching the gospel slammed tightly shut.
In line with the apostle Paul's double curse on those who would pervert the gospel, it is totally appropriate that every other door should get slammed tightly shut in little Gerald's lying face.
We already had a Sabbatarian theocracy in America. The Puritans. Sure their sabbath was Sunday, but it was Sabbatarian theocracy. BTW, I don't think it worked out too well in practice, right.

The GOSPEL (meaning “GOOD NEWS”) of the coming kingdom of God is NOT the BAD NEWS of a coming “great tribulation.”
There is a disconcerting problem of Biblical interpretation here. Can someone point to a passage in the Bible and say that is about me? How can this Splinterist preacher claim to be some kind of rendition of Eliakim the son of Hilkiah? Eliakim was apparently a kind of Chief of Staff for King Hezekiah. And Isaiah had something to say about him.
This is a matter of Biblical interpretation. And so far, I do not see a rule of Biblical interpretation (hermeneutic) that would ban this kind of self-eisegesis (reading yourself into the scripture). This seems to be an extreme form of Biblical Typology (type-antitype) in which everything in the Bible can be presumed to have typical and antitypical instantiations. Principles like "love your neighbor" may be true broadly and across all typologies but the idea of "I am Eliakim" seems to be a special pleading.
Usually any plausible invocation of typology involves the type and antitype being connected in a historical-exegetical way. Maybe this Splinterist preacher has put forward such arguments in the article he wrote about himself. I have not seen this article where he makes the claim to be a kind of antitypical Eliakim.
For people who are confronted with this kind of intrepretation in their belief system, I would say that they need to look for these valid historical-exegetical connections between type and antitype. I would also say that one could directly cut to the chase as Jesus did when he said, "Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?"

According to the book of Revelation, billions of people are about to perish in WW 3. Today's churches have a responsibility to warn of this coming disaster as instructed in Ezekiel 33:7.
This does not exclude teaching the good news of God's coming kingdom.
The book of Revelation does not establish a time line showing specifically when the end will start. Religious groups have attempted to pinpoint that by filling in the blanks with mathematics, when in fact it will be a judgment call by Father God when conditions reach a point at which He will not tolerate further deterioration. Once He makes His judgment call to pull the plug, then the timeline for all of the events in Revelation kick in, and we will know how long the final count down will last. This is why no man can accurately tell you when it will start. It isn't based on math, but on the condition of humanity becoming so deplorable that God cannot allow it to continue. I'd say that since we have polluted the environment to the point of altering some of the necessary constants which are necessary to the continued health of the planet, we may be getting close, but that's just me. I am a capitalist who believes in a bit of limited socialism, but we cannot use capitalism as the imperative to continue wrecking the planet. We live in an era where the more intelligent moguls and oligarchs have begun to realize that they must adjust their paradigms to save the planet. Too bad politicians persist in fighting them!

This world's sinful Sunday-keeping churches full of pagan-based customs are a HUGE part of the problem.
The Gospel Message of the Kingdom of God is for the whole world for a witness to all nations.
The Ezekiel Warning Message is mainly for the USA and Britain if they do not repent.
Irish dance is just as pagan as Christmas or anything else. But go ahead and pick and chose what you you want to do.

Okay, but how likely is it they will repent? Here's what repentance entails, if Nineveh is any example:

Considering how many people in the USA and Britain refused to add a face mask to their regular attire and declined to space themselves six feet apart in order to avoid a pandemic pestilence, how likely is it that two whole nations of them will quit stuffing their faces with food, throw aside their clothes, dress up in burlap, and sit down in a pile of ashes, all to avert the wrath of some god? No wonder the ACOGs are confident that the nations will disregard their warnings.
Expect no repentance from the USA and Britain. We better brace ourselves for the fate of Sodom, because Nineveh-style redemption is not gonna happen.
