When delving into the subject of David C. Pack’s perceived enemies, it is surprisingly more expansive than one would think. The Pastor General of The Restored Church of God has referred to his (our) enemies for decades, mainly in the context of former members and the worst of the bunch: former ministers. The closer you were to Dave at Headquarters, the more profound your betrayal, fellas.

Shame on you guys for no longer supporting his conscience-breaking malarkey and enduring years of mental abuse!

In Part 1 of this article, David C. Pack characterized his (our) enemies as wicked, mocking attackers full of hatred with unrelenting murderous intent. You know, just your run-of-the-mill satanic liars, really.

Facing those kinds of conditions for years has caused a permanent tender boo-boo on his tushy.

While further analyzing other comments about the assaults by perceived enemies, David C. Pack has a surprising perspective on his role in causing such persecution.

Hold onto your hats.

Most people do not know that David C. Pack has been a victim for decades.

Does pointing that out and goofing on him make anyone his enemy? Because he does this of his own accord, does that make him a victim tormented for religious righteousness?

When RCG members resign and post their exit letters online, it makes Dave a sad panda. He considers publicly disclosing the reasons for a departure to be an attack.

David C. Pack is the victim for doing good.

The former "bodybuilder" and "competitive swimmer" who once stood at 6'7" is really the victim, attacked by ungrateful people for just trying to be a kind shepherd. If you find that hard to swallow, let David C. Pack mansplain it to you.

Dave’s former employees now possess a murderous attitude for ungratefully attacking him after he provided such beautiful whatever. Victim much, Dave?

David C. Pack did not provide those whited sepulchres. Brethren paying Common did.

He mentions literature that does not contain the most current doctrinal understanding, telecasts that ceased in December 2017, a beautiful environment with horses the Headquarters congregation gets to enjoy, a laughable, empty-husk “college” that has zero value, camps for the dwindling teen population, and shrinking Feast sites.

Framing that list accurately defuses the shimmer of its illustrious glory.

One small note about his “time off” addition to the list of things HE provides: David C. Pack has repeated to the staff during and after my tenure as a Headquarters employee that he would make everyone work for six days if it were not for the labor laws. He would also remove their vacation days, and if they get sick, that is due to their irresponsibility. In reality, the Pastor General “provides” time off because the government compels him. Now, try to frame him as the magnanimous victim of selfless generosity.

Dave does not just laugh about it. When he keeps mentioning it, the tone and context reveal whether it bothers him or if he lets it roll off his back. Former Headquarters ministers have told me stories about David C. Pack and how incensed he gets when anyone presents the most minor disagreement or perceived criticism. He gets ferociously defensive.

Boy, if you contradict him in front of others, you soon regret it. He does not "just laugh about it," and the men who sit with him behind closed doors know it.

I experienced the opposite of Dave's "just laugh about it" attitude when I wrote Church Administration to clarify what he taught about Revelation. Instead of answering the logic puzzle I pointed out that he placed himself in, I received a cordial dressing down by Bradford Schleifer and Jeffrey Ambrose because the “attitude” of my question “could have been worded better.”

I never submitted another query to CAD after that. Folks, David C. Pack does not just laugh it off.

If anyone truly despised David C. Pack, it is not for him bringing “the most wonderful message.” It would be because he is a blaspheming, hypocritical liar and false prophet coercing money from people with his unbiblical Common doctrine.

I know a lot of former RCG members and ministers… I do not know of anyone who “hates” him. Are some angry? Oh, yes. But I have never heard one utterance that made me think anyone “hates” him or wants him dead. Do they want him to shut the heckfire up? Fo shizzle my nizzle.

David C. Pack manufactures the “hate” directed toward him. It is a figment of his distorted imagination due to an overinflated perception of his own significance. It is as if the “attacks” legitimize him as a servant of God despite all those pesky failed dates for the return of Jesus Christ.

The most insulting thing someone can do to a narcissist is simply ignore them. Recall The Greatest Hissy Fit when Dave was incensed after discovering members in RCG stopped listening to him.

David C. Pack's crying victim is a lame attempt to illicit attention and sympathy. By throwing in the "us" pronoun, he hopes the brethren will share in his imaginary defensiveness. If willfully blind followers believe they have enemies, it substantiates the existence of those enemies even when no tangible evidence supports it.

Being acknowledged as a jerk is not proof of prophetic significance, Dave. It just means you are a jerk. People, including family members, discerning you are a false prophet, false apostle, and false teacher does not make you a victim. It makes you a disqualified teacher and religious leader of any kind.

David C. Pack sees himself as the humble target of fiery darts because of his good deeds and steadfast righteousness. Or does he attract unwelcome attention because he created it himself?

While searching the transcripts, I found one instance of David C. Pack explaining the “lies” spread about him and RCG. There must be more, but my recordkeeping is incomplete, and I cannot find them.

Part 450 – Part 1 – June 13, 2023

"Which is 450 sermons on prophecy." That’s what our enemies say 'cause that's the best way to depict it. That they’re the they’re the same people who say, “Pack wants your money.” When I don’t get your money. And I gave up two of my inheritances. And I don’t get a raise when people pay Common. The real truth is the liars saying that. They want your money. Stay with them. And depict us as false, just like they depict us as saying, "Oh, he talking about prophecy for seven-and-a-half years." Come on. You know, but I I can understand if some who were sitting here depict it that way, then what are our enemies gonna say? Particularly when they’re likely most likely to hear from those who leave us that that’s the way to see the Series.

Dave fluffs the “Greatest Untold Story” with other non-prophecy teachings but revises it so regularly that no RCG brethren can speak with confidence if they even believe that particular doctrine today. Current members cannot absorb, retain, and understand the rapid-fire malarkey coming out of his mouth, even when it is not prophetic in nature.

If he has already been proven to be a false prophet, whether the 551-Part Series is all about prophecy, mostly prophecy, or only kinda about prophecy makes no difference. Considering the source informs the accuracy of the information. Even David C. Pack does not believe the teachings of David C. Pack the next week, so why should anyone?

Dave is also disingenuous in his statement about where the Common money goes. The coerced funds do not go into his personal account, but he directly benefits from them. The debt relief on the Campus and their home properties ensure that the religious fraud machine will keep providing his salary and maintain the cieled houses in which Dave and his enablers can live.

Once the debt on the Campus is reduced, they can plant more trees and gardens and fulfill Dave's "whatever we'd do" plan, as documented in the “If More Time” YouTube Playlist.

Dave’s consideration for RCG members was expressed by his desire to spare them unnecessary persecution, so he opted not to release his quickly irrelevant and proven-inaccurate document that is not worth the kilobytes it takes up on a computer.

According to Dave, sometimes attacks from his (our) enemies are actually his god’s fault.

David C. Pack reaps what he sows and brings any angst coming his way upon his own head.

David C. Pack is no victim. His perceived enemies are designated such because they accurately record what he said, analyze what he said, publish what he said, and remind everyone what he previously said.

If I am counted as an enemy, I am perfectly fine with that. God will judge between him and me.

UCG, LCG, COGWA And Their Annual 'It's Not A Christmas Party" Weekend

It is that time of year when certain Church of God groups hold their annual holiday festivus parties, pretending they have nothing to do with Christmas. 

A rerun from 2014.

A reader here took exception to me making fun of UCG, LCG, and COGWA's annual "It's Not A Christmas Celebration" weekends. UCG, COGWA, and LCG started this tradition several years ago to give the kids of the various splinter groups something to do while the rest of the world celebrates Christmas. Children in Armstrongism have always gotten the short shift on everything. Most of the things their friends enjoy they are not allowed to do. UCG, COGWA, and LCG have made themselves slaves to the pagan mythology and the membership pays the price for that silliness.

They book these weekends in resorts that are decked out for Christmas from trees to garlands and millions of lights. Yet through it all, not one single UCG member, LCG member, or COGWA member looks at any of those decorations, listens to the Christmas music playing, or marvels at the beauty of the lights. When they walk into these places the blinders go on and the earplugs go in. Then once they are sequestered in their meeting or play spaces they click their tongues at the poor uneducated, deceived, pagan worshiping, filthy heathens outside the doors bowing down to Christmas trees decked out with Lucifer testicles, dead babies, and Satan's snakes.

The hypocrisy of these groups knows no boundaries.

I would like to inform you about North West Weekend which you are accusing to be a Christmas party in one of your blog's. Do you even go to our church? Have you ever been to our church? North West Weekend is not a Christmas party yes we have a dance Saturday night but we only use that weekend because everyone has it off we would gladly use another weekend but that one is easiest we don't have Christmas trees or wreaths or any of the fixings of a Christmas party this year our theme for the teen dance is a night in old morraco we also have volleyball on Thursday day this year we have our ski day. Christmas has no part in your weekend we usually forget it's around Christmas unless someone brings it up. Also it is not the only weekend we do stuff. We have church Saturday and after sundown we set up we do it in winter time because sunset is early and we have time to set up and have a three hour dance, and then have time to pack up and leave. As a fourteen year old I'm ashamed that you as an adult don't have enough reasoning power to realize this.

Apparently, sunset is a rather inconvenient thing to work around the rest of the year.

Dave Pack's Enemies. Who Are They?

 

David C. Pack’s Enemies (Part 1)

It may be unusual for mainstream Christians to hear about a self-proclaimed servant of Jesus Christ lamenting about all the wicked enemies plaguing him. But those familiar with Pastor General David C. Pack of The Restored Church of God are not surprised.

For years, David C. Pack has been decrying how vicious enemies surround him and attack him with devilish hatred. I have never personally witnessed this and often wondered who he refers to.

Who are David C. Pack’s enemies?

From what one could glean from his sporadic, cryptic statements, they are sometimes former members and ministers, but sometimes family members and people in the Splinters. It is hard to discern who his whiny ire is directed at.

For those new to the website, my name is Marc Cebrian. I am a former member of The Restored Church of God and still live in Wadsworth, Ohio. I became a full-time Headquarters staff member in Media Production Services in December 2012. I was one of two video editors who worked on The World to Come, which ceased production in 2017, and their now defunct annual documentary, Behind the Work.

I was extremely disturbed by the direction of the church after David C. Pack announced he was Elijah the Prophet in January 2015. In December 2015, he declared that Elijah was That Prophet…not Jesus Christ. This directly contradicted a powerfully effective warning tool: Is “That Prophet” Alive Today? The Rise of False Prophets, written by David C. Pack. Past Dave warned us about Future Dave.

I held fast to that which I was taught with much prayer, fasting, and tears until I could no longer stomach the complicit insanity unfolding at Headquarters. After former critical thinker Edward L. Winkfield made a habit of regurgitating prophetic nonsense to show homage to his human idol, I finally resigned in March 2021.

Using my own Bible study notes as the genesis, I established exrcg.org in June 2022 to expose the teachings of David C. Pack and the enablers at The Restored Church of God. The most biting words on the website are that of David C. Pack—not mine.

The best way to expose the Pastor General’s true character and solidify his reputation was to let David C. Pack speak. Nobody could do more damage to David C. Pack than David C. Pack. There is an exquisite irony about that, which still makes me giggle.

From his own mouth, David C. Pack declares he has enemies. But who are they?

For the record, David C. Pack is not my enemy. In fact, I have NO enemies. Like everyone, I have had people be terrible to me, the worst of which was an ex-girlfriend who was a minister's daughter. Even though she was one of the most awful, hurtful human beings I have ever encountered, I can still say I have NO enemies.

Part 371 of “The Greatest Untold Story!” was the first instance that made me wonder if Dave was talking about me. Before my website, I had regularly contributed to Banned by HWA and did three interviews with Dawn Blue of How It’s Done in Wadsworth.

More sideways references were mentioned, and supporters believed my interviews and website were making a difference. Maybe exrcg.org was starting to get under Dave's skin, and he saw me as his enemy.

Does David C. Pack see ME as his enemy?

His recent quotes would suggest that, but that cannot be true when you measure his descriptive statements against reality. However, once David C. Pack judges you as his enemy, you ARE his enemy regardless of what was actually said or done. Former ministers at Headquarters can confirm this.

Dave has been whining about enemies for years but has never thoroughly explained what kinds of attacks are perpetrated. He does not elaborate on the lies that are said about him or The Restored Church of God. He somehow discerns that these perceived enemies are motivated by Satan. How does he know?

Just by this singular sentence, he absolves me personally and exrcg.org as a reporting entity of being his enemy.

I do not attack him. I report what he says and carefully analyze it.

I do not lie about him. I accurately record what he said, when he said it, and remind people what he previously said even though that might not be convenient for him.

Satan does not pour my cup of coffee each morning. So, who is Dave crying about?

David C. Pack refers to his perceived enemies as "our" enemies, as if the members of The Restored Church of God have adopted those same people as their personal adversaries. The transparent “Us vs. Them” psychological manipulation is displayed in full effect and has been for years.

Dave ignorantly assigns motive where none exists. That is a figment of his victimhood imagination. Nobody sits around worrying whether or not letting his dopey ideas go public serves RCG’s purpose.

This is my 286^th article for exrcg.org, and I have never considered, “Oh no…this might help them if I report on it.” What Dave says in sermons is so outlandish that nothing he says would help RCG. That is why they keep their “Greatest Untold Story!” content locked behind closed doors for members only. They never want the complete story to get out because if they did, they would do it. Am I lying, Ed?

They do not want new members to have the complete picture either, or they would make the first 30 parts available in Member Services and keep Is “That Prophet” Alive Today? The Rise of False Prophets on the shelf. Grease your way around that one, Brad. Outdated doctrine is last week for you guys now.

@ 56:48 So, our enemies have gone mute. Deaf. They're deaf-mutes. [audience laughs] But, they won’t be able to help themselves. They’re too full of hate. And they’ll eventually kick into gear and start mocking, and the word’ll get out, but they'll be thousands of people hearing it from us. Not just our enemies.

My voluntary break from monitoring RCG finally reached Dave’s ears. Mocking is practically required when reporting on the recycled malarkey David C. Pack says and what The Restored Church of God believes week to week, considering it changes week to week.

I do not possess even a twinkle of hate. What I do have is an extreme distaste for the religious fraud that David C. Pack and The Restored Church of God perpetuates. Due to my 9-year Headquarters access and diligent note-keeping, I am perfectly qualified to be a scribe and herald for the prophetic corruption of that spiritually bankrupt organization. Dave may see this as an attack, but is it really?

David C. Pack’s perceived enemy went mute. But because I do not hate anyone, that cannot be me.

 

I took a break from listening to Dave’s sermons for about two months and came back into the fold just in time to catch some interesting moments.

Dave’s perceived enemies distribute information. Exactly how is that an attack?

I guess the idea of “freely you have received, freely give” is for suckers. If David C. Pack preaches the gospel as he has repeated in sermons, and Jesus Christ wanted it to be preached to all the world as a witness before the end comes, how is “leaking” bits of the “good news” any kind of attack?

If Dave's claims are valid, one could conclude that Marc Cebrian is better at preaching the gospel than The Restored Church of God. After all, they want to take that bright light of knowledge and put it under a paywall bushel while exrcg.org tries to shout it from the rooftops.

Maybe imaginary attacks are simply reporting how error-filled Dave's messages are when he cannot even believe the content for an entire week.

David C. Pack declaring 91 failed dates since March 2022 is the simplest way to prove nothing else he says matters. Why should anyone on this green earth care what he thinks is coming prophetically when he already got the timing of those private interpretations completely wrong?

Credibility is required for belief. David C. Pack has zero credibility.

Come on, Carl. Six dates within six weeks! Are you kidding? How are you not completely ashamed?

Did you notice how Dave threw Herbert W. Armstrong under the bus again? Boy, the story about that guy changes based on need. I have heard Dave say, "Mr. Armstrong never set dates," "Mr. Armstrong never claimed to be Elijah,” and I have heard Dave say the opposite when it suits his purpose.

Despite Dave flip-flopping six weeks in a row because he suffers from prophetic ADHD, he still credits God with his epileptic inspiration.

And he and he uttered a bunch for a long time, even well before I came into the church. No. David C. Pack will never get it right. Am I filled with hate and attacking with lies because I point that out? Let time determine which one of us is the liar, Dave.

Since I am not motivated by hate, Dave cannot be talking about me being on a very short clock. God will judge whether I am wicked or not. I go to sleep with a clear conscience and stand behind every word written on exrcg.org.

I know that David C. Pack, Bradford Schleifer, Edward Winkfield, Carl Houk, Ryan Denee, Salasi Jezhi, Frank Lydick, Jaco Viljoen, Jim Habboush, Andrew Holcombe, and Raymond Garb cannot say the same about what their den of wolves has taught.

These statements sound like Dave is speaking in God’s name to pronounce coming punishment upon those who expose the theological fraud of The Restored Church of God. His perceived enemies will be sorry for ever mocking him. Or will they?

The doohs, oh-noes, and gnashing of teeth just outside the Headquarters’ gate will be sweet music to his smug ears because the whole world will finally be forced to accept that David C. Pack was right.

Nothing biblical or prophetic will happen between now and January 29, 2025. Even if an airplane falls on me, please do not see that as God legitimizing Dave…it was just time and chance. To be safe, Gary and Dennis should also be very careful when they take a shower.

 

Who is the true enemy of the members of The Restored Church of God? Perhaps a gaslighting liar.

Nobody wants David C. Pack dead. My preference would be for him to have a moment of theological sobriety where he finally understands the depths of his religious fraud, resigns, and repents. That will happen just as soon as monkeys fly out of my butt.

Accurately identifying David C. Pack as a false prophet is not losing patience. It is exercising wisdom and discernment, and it is a result of believing your Bible. Nobody is trying to murder The Restored Church of God, but it would be helpful if Dave shared even one shred of tangible proof regarding that claim.

When fear is your product, it does not require evidence because it sells itself.

Am I David C. Pack’s real enemy?

After evaluating all his characterizations, the only objective and logical answer is NO.

As a vocal former member, I do justly mock him, but I am not filled with hatred. I do not attack him but merely record, report, and analyze his words. I am not more wicked (almost) than the devil. I am not motivated by an evil heart. I am not murderous. 

But most importantly, I do not lie about David C. Pack or what goes on at The Restored Church of God.

When Dave opens his mouth, stupid things fall out. He continually contradicts himself. He is an unstable, angry, accusatory, self-righteous, blaspheming, hypocritical liar, taking the Lord's name in vain while he commits biblical fraud upon the willfully blind members of The Restored Church of God.

Am I his enemy because I point that out?

The real enemy of The Restored Church of God and David C. Pack is David C. Pack.
