Apostate Malm is SICK of all the Love Talk!

Today, apostate apostle Malm is ripping into Roy Holiday for the sermon he gave last Saturday.  Malm seems incredibly ticked that the rest of the world does not believe or preach the things he expects them to.

Here are some of Roy's sins, according to the apostate apostle.

Roy never gets around to detailing how the saints are to assist Christ other than to just love others.
No definition of love is given, no requirements are listed other than being “called of God” and not giving up till the resurrection.
What definition does Malm want  "love" to entail?  Is there some hidden meaning that only "true" Armstrongites know about?  All Christians know what "love" means in the context of Christianity, I am surprised that Malm does not. Malm expects love to be wielding a cat-of-nine-tails ready to beat the living day lights out of grievous, rebellious sinners.  That is the "love" he wants to dish out.

He does not even mention the fact that we are called to repent and reject all sin and to begin keeping ALL of God’s commandments with enthusiasm; and that we must continue overcoming all commandment breaking while enduring to the end of our lives; and that salvation is by no means guaranteed to those who are called, only those who overcome sin...

Then apostate Malm resorts to one of Armstrongisms' favorite broadsides:

God is allowing this general apostasy for a reason.  God is TESTING his people!
Having lived through 45 years of the silliness of Armstrongism, that is all I ever heard.  70 some years down the pipeline and God still cannot figure out who his followers are and has to "test" them with all kinds of trials and tribulations.  Apostate Malm's god sure is a wimpy icky-poo god!

God’s blessings typified by the Daily Sacrifice are about to be withdrawn, and we are about to be spewed OUT of the body of Christ as lukewarm polluted water; into the correction of great tribulation that this man of sin will bring.

There seems to be no pleasing apostate Malm's god.  What is the use in even trying?

Brethren we are being TESTED with a great testing;  our love and fidelity for God, are being PROVEN by our God!  he needs to KNOW who he can trust to be faithful to him for all eternity; BEFORE he will grant authority to them in his kingdom!

Your crowns, the very birthright of your calling are at risk:  Will your love for your espoused Husband and his Father be proven true; or will you love some man or organization more than you love the commandments of our Great God?

Will you sell the birthright of your calling for the bowl of pottage of remaining in some social club for a few more months?  Or will you value your calling to the ways of God and fight the good fight for your salvation?

Apparently all of you COG buffoons out there that still attend in your respective COG's are a bunch of imbeciles.  When are you going to wake up and join the ONLY church preaching the law on earth today?  The apostate apostle sure seems eager to get his splinter cult off the ground and legitimized. Feast site, here they come!

An interesting part of Roy Holladay’s sermon were the translations used and references cited.  Virtually all of the Bible helps, translations, and references he used were written by unconverted men and as a result have faults of which the converted need to be aware.

Why are they even using a Bible, if unconverted men have had their hands on all Bibles?  Does not apostate Malm even know that the various church councils fought bitterly over what was going to be included?  Does he now know that many did not want certain books included, particularly Revelation?  I particularly enjoy the fact that apostate Malm is a KJV only dude, and that version was sponsored by gay King James!  Oh the irony!  On a side note, Craig White is on a campaign now to disprove that knowledge saying that it is all a conspiracy by unbelievers to further discredit the Bible.  King James was one macho dude and only macho dudes could have been inspired to compile the Bible in God's native tongue.

When you finish reading apostate Malm's screed you realize that he had nothing really of value to say about Roy's sermon.  Other than being upset over Roy's emphasis on love, talking about the Holy Spirit, and his use of non-KJV Bible, was all Malm can find.

What blindness. Clearly, this man has no comprehension whatever of the Holy Spirit, the fruits of the Holy Spirit, or the sanctification process. Put a toga and sandals on him, lock him into the time machine and send him back to the first century, and he'd probably end up standing right there with the Pharisees and High Priest challenging Jesus about "the law".

"Brethren we are being TESTED with a great testing..."

I am just always flabbergasted at how the mind infected with Armstrongism takes the entire spectrum of human experience and finds a way to explain every possible thing that could happen in such a way as to support their belief that a supernatural being is intimately guiding every detail of their lives. If things are falling apart, god is testing me because I'm a big loser. If things go well, then god is blessing me because I must have done something good. If I screw things up, god said "no" and he "closed that door." But when I do really well, then god "gave me favor." When my church is falling apart because of the ridiculous shenanigans of the incompetent, egotistical jackass I've been following, god is "winnowing." It's more probable that their god isn't even paying attention. If he were, since they're such fools who can't determine who is the real deal and who is a con artist, god would have sent an angel to show them who they should have been following instead, if anyone.

"[Holladay]does not even mention the fact that we are called to repent and reject all sin and to begin keeping ALL of God’s commandments with enthusiasm..."

ALL of god's commandments, that is, except, for example, Lev. 23:42-43 which says you have to camp in "booths" during the feast. It's clear and straightforward. Observant Jews do it, so it's not impossible. But that's one of god's commandments that Malm obviously believes has been done away. But you better get your trumpet out and blow it as loud as you can every holy day, because that commandment is still in force!

So, Malm contradicts himself once again, because there ARE, in fact, SOME commandments that the apostle says you CAN just ignore! But the ones HE SAYS you better keep, YOU BETTER KEEP, dammit!!! Because HE is the authorized scriptural cherry-picker!

Why does he get to be the designated scriptural cherry-picker? Because he doesn't have any credentials from men. Oops, I meant, because his credentials are from god, so they're invisible. See how the very lack of evidence of any "credentials" (whatever they are) is turned around to become the very evidence that he has even better "credentials" from god? It's just like Joseph Smith's plates of gold with a mysterious language that god mysteriously gave him the ability to read. Why there always seem to be acolytes around who are willing to swear to unbelievably unlikely things without evidence is beyond me. Maybe that's the real definition of "zeal" and "enthusiasm."

"Roy never gets around to detailing how the saints are to assist Christ other than to just love others."

And we all know, according to the Apostle Malm, the second great commandment, loving others as you love yourself is another one of those commandments that has been done away. All we have to do now is perform no end of rituals, as perfectly as possible (I can't stress the "perfectly" part enough), which will prove to god how much you love him, and him alone. Taking care of other people is an unnecessary distraction. Such a needless diversion of energy and attention may cause god to conclude that you don't love him enough, and then he'll toss your ass in the fire. So, take heed and act accordingly.

I would like Malm to explain how people are to assist Christ.

Come to think of it, I would like Malm to explain how Christ needs any assistance at all.

Such silliness.

"Virtually all of the Bible helps, translations, and references he used were written by unconverted men and as a result have faults of which the converted need to be aware"

So let me get this "doublespeak" right: 1) The difference between a "converted" and "unconverted" Christian comes down to which team you're on. So someone baptized Armstrongist by the WCG or one of its offshoots is defined as "converted" while someone who's never been baptized or perhaps baptized Catholic, Baptist, Pentecostal, etc. would make him "unconverted." Okay so the same "us vs them" mentality comes into play. 2) But, then what do we make of HWA using (even plagiarizing) sources produced by "unconverted" men, including--shock, horror!--Christ-denying Jews? 3) And if such "helps, translations and references" are riddled with "faults" seeing they were produced by "unconverted" men then does that mean "converted" Christians or Armstrongists are only allowed to read, watch or listen to material produced by other "converted" Christians or Armstrongists? 4) But, what about the literature published by HWA/WCG? Weren't they at one time or other "riddled with error"? And how about WCG offshoots editing and re-editing their literature time and again to reflect "new understanding"? Doesn't this mean previous editions of their publications were "riddled with error"? 5) And how then do we make sense of a "converted" Christian or Armstrogist believing something totally different to another "converted" Christian or Armstrongist on a wide range of issues? They can't both be correct now can they? And what if an Armstrongist has a majority of sources by "unconverted" men agreeing with his view on an issue? Does this mean he's really incorrect or that the "unconverted" men are suddenly "converted"? Or what if an "unconverted" man takes the view of Armstrongist A over Armstrongist B and is considered "converted" by A, but still labeled "unconverted" by B? 6) And what about the ongoing schisms and splinters within the churches "of God" that make a mockery of their so-called "conversion"? I think you get the picture...

one thing UCG is up to is to talk love of Jesus, but leave the love of fellow man out of the picture. They are becoming more and more intollorant and critical. Frankly, that is why there is no mention on love and what kind of love is required by them. They are hypocrites.
