The best thing the ministers in the WCG could have done was to refer those with problems to professinals, rather than their pitiful, incompetent attempts at counseling.

There is not a single minister in COGdumb that have been trained to be counselors. Therapy and anything connected to it was looked upon as a tool of satan. Because Armstrongism was so against counseling/therapy it is now an organization filled with thousands of people with personality disorders and mental issues.
Narcissism is the biggest issue with COG ministers today.
Plus, because of the damage done by the church and ministry to the membership there are all kinds of mental issues members and former members now have to deal with. That in it's self is one of the many disgusting legacies the church has done to people.
