Gentlemen —
I saw that many so-called/self-called “Christian” churches are calling for a Day of Prayer and Fasting for Ukraine on this coming Ash Wednesday. I also saw that some silly people are suggesting that the various Churches of God join in. Whether those suggestions are totally serious I leave for others to decide.
But there is one reason why this cannot happen. It’s on “Ash Wednesday” which is associated with Lent which is associated with Easter, and is therefore pagan through and through. (Forget, for a moment about those Old Testament Folk who went around repenting in sackcloth and ashes. The King of Nineveh being a prime example among others: “Who knows, God may yet change God’s mind so we don’t perish? *)
If doing something loving on the 14th of February is to be avoided — making love with one’s spouse for example — as was recently suggested, then the same logic applies here. Or suppose that you have a long standing tradition of giving flowers to your spouse and going out for dinner every Wednesday. On those years when 14 February falls on a Wednesday you can’t do it lest God get confused and think you’re doing it not because it’s Wednesday but rather because it’s Valentine’s Day.
Same here. Asking True Churchers to do something good (fasting and praying for Ukraine) but on a bad day (Ash Wednesday) is a non-starter. Even if satan’s own bishop, Francis, hadn’t suggested it —- suppose the idea had spontaneously arisen from the people and the Pope merely seconded the idea — his association with it is the kiss of death.
But all is not lost. The COGs can easily cancel Sabbath Services and have their members fast and pray for Ukraine at home this weekend. I expect that’s what they’ll do. But if Gary suggests it on that site of his, The Prophet will probably have an apoplectic fit as he sputters a reply.
* There is much worth considering in the short Book of Jonah, but I’ll save that for some other time.

This would be the perfect time for Bob Thiel to prove all of us wrong and actually act like a real Christian for once. Declare a fast Bob. Set the example. Sadly, we know you will not. You don’t have any man balls to do it.
If it weren't for the toxic spirit of division among the top ACOG ministry, wouldn't this be a perfect time to send donations to a ministry that for the last couple of decades has maintained an ongoing established relationship with Sabbath-keepers in the Ukraine?

It doesn't take a whole lot of discernment to see that Francis has exhibited more evidence of the presence of God's Holy Spirit than Bob ever has! I think Phinnpoy hit the nail on the head!

In this context, an attack is usually characterized as a violent physical or verbal aggression against an individual. I was under the impression that I had compared the reactions and behaviors of two men as they relate to the teachings of Jesus Christ. Am I missing something? Is it kind/nice to dismiss Francis as a tool of Satan and reject him as a brother in Christ? Is it nice to suggest that God won't listen to the sincere petitions of people who seek his intervention in a horrendous situation? How do you define NICE?

Their literature consists of heresies, lies, and misinformation. The only thing the ACOG's have inside them is the darkness that those beliefs cause.

ROTFLMAO!!!!! That so-called “free” literature comes a a cost. 40% of your income, heretical old covenant articles and scant If any articles on Jesus Christ and the new covenant. Add to the the pagan writings of Flurry, Pack and Thiel and there is much darkness that overpowers any light.
Red Cross or similar would be better. Whilst what Vic Kubic is trying to do with help is nothing short of heroic and to be praised, but in such a mammoth humanitarian crisis such as this, a much larger organisation is needed.
Organisation that know how to operate within war is whst is needed at this time. Red Cross have the back up of military structure which sadly LifeNets does not.
The only reason Bob Thiel would assist in any sort of extracurricular humanitarian aid would be if it somehow earned him another fake credential.

The world says "look at me, look at me, we're setting aside a day for prayer, look how righteous we are!" After they've been noticed, they go back to their old ways as if it never happened, thinking that one deed made them righteous before God.
The Church of God has none of that. It is quietly praying always for those in the world, those that suffer from man's inhumanity toward man. The Church of God does not sound the trumpet before itself to be noticed for following God's instructions. It does not proclaim the help it has given to those in need. You don't see it, so you say it never happened. Well, we don't do it to receive your praise and we don't care if you know about it or not.
So, besides Francis, who else is demonstrating the fruits of God's holy spirit? Joe Biden? Donald Trump? Nancy Pelosi? Surely they all love the Ukraine more than money and power!! Francis has openly admitted the fetal cell connection with the covid vaccines and could care less. No holy spirit there!! The other 3 stooges? You be the judge whether God actually honors anything they might do.

As I've stated before, I believe the only questioned credential was Bob's ThD in Church History from a school in India. Hey, at least it wasn't from AC!
I believe that there was considerably more of a questionable nature regarding Bob Thiel's credentials, Hoss. Part of the late Gavin Rumney's legacy is his still extant (although archived) blog. Ambassadorwatch.blogspot.com has a considerable amount of information regarding the aforementioned credentials on the home page, if (note my classic understatement!) anyone here happens to find this of interest.
