I'll just leave this here:
Greetings from Charlotte,
When a pebble is thrown into water, concentric waves emanate from the point of entry. I often tell our teens and young adults that they can be pebbles of purity and example in the Church and in the world. This is why we have youth programs—camps, Living Education, and Living 4 Tomorrow—to encourage them to live a life very different from that in the world. I also point out to our young people that, whether for good or bad, they will be examples. Each person who catches the vision can become a good example—not by self-righteously preaching, but by courageously living God’s way of life. Of course, the “pebbles in a pond” analogy applies to all of us. Is this not what Jesus meant when He said, “You are the salt of the earth” and “You are the light of the world” (Matthew 5:13–16)? Do we consider this in how we drive, how we dress, the language we use, how we entertain ourselves, how diligent we are in our employment, and how we treat others in our everyday encounters with them? A lot is happening in our world, and we don’t have time to waste when it comes to allowing Christ to form Himself in us.

We had wave pools in Physics Lab, and studied many aspects of wave activity and theory. If you drop anything straight down on a body of still water, it will create these concentric circles. The dropped object does not need to be a pebble. Even a drop of water will produce the circles.
There are probably better analogies or metaphors to be made involving skipping stones across the water than those based upon the dropping of a pebble. Perhaps those would be too complex for Weston's mind (or his followers).
LCG lives are really no different than the attitudes and mannerisms of the world. Hopefully the youth will have a greater vision and impact than the olders in that organization. It’s just a bunch of power hungry control freaks.
I guess that would have made GTA ... "THE BAM BAM OF PURITY! "
Weston preaches about purity and pretends his pet camp project is a bastion of purity. I had a sister that made the mistake of believing the Weston narrative and went to his summer camp. She was shocked at the levels of immorality she witnessed and saw Weston and LCG as phonies after that. I saw Weston as a phony when I ran into a few cases of pedophiles that Weston and henchminsters covered up for. Purity is a lie that Weston uses to sell himself lording over others.
" we don’t have time to waste when it comes to allowing Christ to form Himself in us"
Why is why I do not listen to Weston.
What really went 'rippling out" was their history and timeline through the internet. They like to hide behind the rock of some sort of new organization. But we know what rock they crawled out of, and it was the rock of the worldwide church of god, that many now can find out through simple searches that they lacked in "purity." They allow their ministers to be impure in worldwide, as well as living. The only purity they try and project is racial purity through BI.

"Become a example" to others? Notice what the splinters don't say.
Do people exercise so they can be an example to others or do they put out the effort because of the personal benefits? Where's the appeal to "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness?" It's not there because in these groups, members are viewed as chattel that only exist to serve the organization's needs. Many have discovered this the hard way when they asked their minister about pursuing a interest that doesn't directly benefit the church. Or when they experienced no gratitude for the free services they performed for the church.
There's a reason why God is not sending them new members.
7:10 And it's hard to get new young members with the economy the way that it is. That is one thing they hardly ever discuss, and that is the current economic situation for young adults. Then it's too difficult to give tithes and offerings (especially offerings that are not required in the NT). They have way too many "holy convocations" than what is actually commanded. It's an old outdated model that doesn't fit in today's world. It works for an older generation that already have their homes. So these youth programs may have some benefits, but will it prepare them for the world they are about to enter as adults. Many of them will be living with their parents well into their twenties or later.
Purity?? Really? Then why is the head of your CAD doing something God calls an abomination? Just ignore the rolling eyes coming from the rest of us that know what's really going on.
What is he doing?
