Little did we know how significant it was in September of 2022 when Samuel Kitchen told Worldwide Church of God members to gather in Jerusalem for the Feast of Tabernacles. Upon arrival in September, they found out that they had been scammed and the money they had dished out for the accommodations would not be returned, they had no accommodations waiting for them to use. Then, fearing for their safety they headed down to Petra, the Place of Safety, where all good Church of God members know to go to.
SEPTEMBER 21, 2022 I declared in Jerusalem THE WORLDWIDE CHURCH OF GOD EXISTS and was keeping the Feasts of the Lord in Jerusalem. Instead, God brought us to PETRA and placed His name there because it was TOO DANGEROUS in Jerusalem.
The Standard was published and declared.It was a call for the membership of the Worldwide Church of God to ASSEMBLE in Jerusalem.
While things were certainly a little better there, it did not go well and relationships and family were broken. The return home was disheartening.
Having had many months now to reflect upon this traumatic defeat, this is what he now says. Of course, in typical COG fashion, it is the fault of all COG members in the various splinter groups that refuse to heed this call.
THIS WARNING MESSAGE IS PRIOR TO THE GREAT TRIBULATION! All of the Middle East events, attacks, October 7, and troubles between Russia/Ukraine and the rest of the world are now a result of the not heeding this call to gather.

Jerusalem is going to be a busy place for COG witless witnesses. Ron Weinland and his dingy wife Laura will be there as the two witless witnesses. I am sure the Kitchen boys are really nice guys, but being this deluded signals some mental health issues. The stories they have told over the years have been outlandish in the way they accuse loads of other people, including the government and Jesuits for their family's problems.
Oh, man, I don't know. It is sad. These guys aren't malicious or angry, and they do come here to talk with us. I don't think they are mentally ill. They are most certainly not ripping anybody off, either. They just hunger for what they were promised over the course of their lives, and want to be part of it. They still actually expect it.
There are hundreds of different reactions to a life spent in Armstrongism. This is just one of them. It's an example of how HWA affected the innocents.
Lots of crazy control freak wannabes seem to get mad at other people for not believing them, following them, and financially supporting them.

From what I gather, they were all once aligned, but the Jerusalem fiasco last year splintered the family. Sadly this has always been the case when families are hyper-orthodox for Armtrongism.
At the risk of being accused of agreeing with Kitchen, I experienced some momentary cognitive dissonance reading this because in the midst of Kitchen's dumpster fire, he said this nugget, "They can't be a harlot and the fiance bride of Christ at the same time." I believe Kitchen's application of this idea is rubbish, along with the rest of what he said, but I can glean a truth from the isolated statement, which aligns with passages like James 4:4 "You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God." It's a shame he's taken the path he has.
It had nothing to do with "armstrongism". I know so many here say this happened because of a belief in such and such, but it was not in this case. My brother and others had ideas of their own and still carry that belief. I do not hold the same belief. But it is not "armstrongism". I know everyone hates Herbert W Armstrong, but what do decisions and choices of others have to do with another man? It would be like someone blaming "Banned by HWA" for all their troubles and choices in life because they read their blog. Lol. Take responsibility and own it. Herbert W Armstrong cannot take responsibility and will not stand responsible for other men and women's choices. Neither will you. Neither will I. That is why we must work out our own salvation with fear and trembling.
How will I know when the Kitchens are barred from the internet? How much "silence over all the land" will it take before I know for sure?
