Now we know why Samuel is so adamant about restoring the Worldwide Church of God. After the implosion with the Great Apostasy, true church government was preserved in his own family, with his father as the supreme head. At his father's death, that mantle was passed on to Samuel, and it is now his responsibility to restore the one true Worldwide Church of God as Herbert Armstrong envisioned it by permission from Jesus Christ.
The separation between church and organization.
The WCG INC, along with Ambassador College, the ACIF, etc are corporate entities that were UNDER the Worldwide Church of God a/k/a unincorporated spiritual organism.
This was recognized and declared by the chief officer of those corporations, Mr Herbert W Armstrong!
Now why do so many want to disregard that separation?
Mr Armstrong has the authority of Jesus Christ, as an apostle and minister of Jesus Christ!
He created an Advisory Council of Elders to surround him and serve him within the Church!
If he was to die, he delegated to them the power and authority to take full charge of the work and church and all assets!
If you research the men in the ACE, you find they individually signed away their council powers to Tkach Sr, in 1991, and then individually left and attempted to gain full control by a new organization!
The only man not to do this was Aaron Dean, who was on the council when Mr Armstrong died and had delegated authority and powers.
He did not attempt to take full control! Everyone else was busy doing that.
All the vultures were taking pieces of the body, swallowing as much as they could. Dividing it amongst themselves.
One group offered Mr Dean a job, and it allowed Mr Dean to be like Daniel in captivity.
He was unable to do his work as an Advisory Council Member. But he could deal with people one on one.
I was born in 1991.
1991 was the start of another 19 year time cycle.
19 yearsrs later in 2010 Aaron Dean was hired by the United Church of God.
In 2010 my family began warning brethren online of departures from the truth!
We began stirring up the scattered membership of the Worldwide Church of God!
Our work was organized through my father.
It was the God ordained government in the family that ruled!
In 2021 my father died leaving me in charge.
So I’ve been warning brethren online ever since, and have been raising awareness of the existence of the Worldwide Church of God!
And now I’m raising awareness of Mr Aaron Dean’s role and function in the Worldwide Church of God!
And by my family, Christ has brought forth crowns to place on his head(Zech. 6:10,14), which simply represents authority and power in the Temple of God!
How can the Worldwide Church of God be dead? When members are standing by, ready to support the ministry when they are restored. When there is a man who has delegated and appointed power, from the apostle, to take FULL CONTROL of the Work and Church!
That means there must be a church! There must be a work!
So that preparation has been done! It is being done.

Mr Kitchen:
12 apostles-Rev 21:14. HWA is not one of them.
Sabbath of noise....not Feast of Trumpets.
Three feasts-Ex 23:14-16, not seven.
Fixed times, not "feasts", a mistranslation - Lev 23:2, include sabbaths
19 yr cycle by Jewish calendar begins 1978, not 1991
No commandment to tithe on money income.
Samual Kitchen wrote, “1991 was the start of another 19 year time cycle.”
MY COMMENT - I have finally received an answer to an unanswered question I have been asking here on Banned for a while. Do the ACOGs still believe in 19-year time cycles? Until now, I had received no responses, but it appears the Sam Kitchen Splinter still preaches and believes in them. For those who have forgotten, 19-year time cycles were very prominently preached in the R/WCG (at least while I attended) as the predictor of the beginning of the coming Great Tribulation (January, 1972) and the return of Jesus Christ (1975). Each 19-year time cycle starts in the month of January as follows:
January,1934 Herbert Armstrong went on the air on radio station KORE commencing the Philadelphian era of God’s Church.
January,1953 the World Tomorrow broadcast went to Europe
January, 1972 The Great Tribulation begins with the German attack on the USA. When this prophecy failed, HWA explained the January, 1972 significance was advertising in Reader’s Digest.
The above is what the R/WCG historically speculated about 19-year time cycles during my attendance in R/WCG from 1968 to 1976. Now to extrapolate forward beyond the failed 1972/1975 dates in prophecy:
January, 1991 According to Sam Kitchen, “1991 was the start of another 19 year time cycle”. He implies his birth was the significance of the 19-year time cycle. But my question to Sam would be was he born in January, 1991 because the cycles start with Mr. Armstrong on radio KORE in January 1934? Do any of the ACOGs offer any alternative significance to January, 1991?
January, 2010 Aaron Dean was hired by the United Church of God. Again, my question is, was Aaron Dean hired by UCG in the month of January? If he wasn’t, then Aaron Dean hiring cannot be the 19 year time cycle significant event. Do any of the ACOGs offer any alternative significance to January, 2010?
January, 2029 – Is history repeating itself? Are any of the ACOGs predicting the start of the Great Tribulation at the end of this current 19-year time cycle with the return of Christ in 2032?
On thing is certain, I never dreamed when I was attending the R/WCG back in the 1960s and 1970s that I would someday be sitting here way in the future alive in this present world, and no Worldwide Church of God even exists. The promised wonderful world of Tomorrow never came!

Herbie's two 19 year time cycles were up in 1972. Another 19 year time cycle's grace brings us to 1991. If the Laodiceans got two cycles, then theirs are up in 2029. If that were true, the Laodiceans wouldn't even realize that they were Laodiceans. Hmmm. Maybe that's the reason the splinters are such a farce! They don't realize that they are Laodicean.
But, not to worry, folks. There is no such thing as church eras, and no such thing as 19 year time cycles! That is all extrabiblical speculation to combine with BI and Simon Magus theories.
BB
I have to question his claim of being born in 1991. As I said elsewhere, I am sure I knew this fellow — that is, I saw his mother holding him – in 1988. I remember a number of Kitchens attending the WCG congregation in Kirksville, Missouri, with them eventually going to Iowa congregations to avoid some soap opera drama. And I remember a young couple holding a baby with a biblical name, which I am absolutely sure was “Samuel,” when I first started attending. First started, as in my first month (June 1988).
I stand ready to be proven errant in my assessment. But I’m calling an Obama here: I want to see the birth certificate. Or at least a valid drivers license with birthdate.
Also, the fellow looks amazingly like the husband/father. I remember thinking how young he looked. But I could be wrong.
Unlike a lot of the people here, I don’t blankly write off religious archaeological theories. Weird things do go on. In that vein, I find Mormon archaeology quite interesting.
It is in that context that I came across a video of a fellow with a prophet beard claiming that the LDS church in Salt Lake City was hiding some prophecies (shades of Fatima, anyone?) I had to click on it out of curiosity, thinking that this was some news story out in Utah. I listened. And listened. And listened. I kept waiting for the punchline: the specific story, something! But I figured out that this is actually a story that has gone back decades, and this fellow actually believed it and saw the whole matters as real.
It was then I truly appreciated how Armstrongists look to outsiders in their internal discussions. Back in my day, we still followed the “Fight Club” rule: Don’t talk about it. After ‘95, there was some online presence, but back then you really had to know where something was in order to find it. Now, “recommended” search results link all sorts of things together. Someone vaguely interested in a particular religious topic might get referred to something Armstrongist. And they would see stuff like what this dude is posting.
This is awesome. This so hurts their outreach. I don’t care if people examine ideas or theories, or read literature about ideas or theories. That’s not the actual problem. People can sort those things out. The threat from Armstrongism is from being drawn explicitly into the cult. Then they have an indisputable (in their minds) baseline — “preconceived notions,” as David Hulme famously talked about in the early days of UCG. This is what prevents them from confirming truth or discovering error.
With stuff like what this guy is putting out, a person searching some religious topic and finding Armstrongist material on it will be all the more quickly made aware of what a cult Armstrongism is. That will help head off the bait-and-switch that drew members in pre-Internet.
Some people will still go in, of course. Mormonism, Scientology, and [insert that other philosophical or religious movement the reader may hate] still draw people. Armstrong did indeed succeed in doing the L. Ron Hubbard thing (allegedly) and created a new religion. There are still Shakers decades after they closed the registry to that faith. Armstrongism will be around for generations. That that is the nature of things.
There are no Loons quite like the number and quality of Loons that have crawled out from the debris of the WCG.
I'm pretty sure the splinters have given up on 19 year time cycles. The new fad is to point to the church spending 40 years in the wilderness after HWA's death. So something big is supposed to happen next year.
doing the L. Ron Hubbard thing
L. Ron Hubbard claimed to create Operating Thetans.
Experience shows that Armstrongism creates Operating Satans.
Wouldn't it have been so much nicer if Sam's dad had been into collecting baseball cards, and passed him a 1956 Mickey Mantle card???
19 Year-time cycles? If Marc Cebrian is perusing this post, he is probably saying to himself, "Hold my beer Mr. Armstrong and Sam Kitchen! Every 19 DAYS, Dave Pack has a new 19 DAY prophetic time cycle". Richard
6:29 AM — I wondered if something might be going on with them concerning 40 years since that old pervert passed.
I have a little hope – which I’m sure will be dashed in less than a year – that may be the loose rumors of Armstrong having a confession tape out there someplace might be true, and that he retained a law firm to publish it 40 years after his demise. Something to the effect of, “Yes, I was a complete Scuzz bucket, and if Jesus hasn’t returned yet, I was obviously a fraud.”
Probably won’t happen. But I will be watching the YouTube and Rumble on that day (January 6, 2026 is a Friday, by the way). You never know!
But I would be curious if you could pass along some specific stuff the ACOGs and sycophants are saying and doing regarding the 40 years.
at 9:55:33 AM Lee Walker - I wondered if something might be going on with them concerning 40 years since that old pervert passed.
Likely any tape from the noisy pervert might only blurt out ""Greetings friends around the woorrld this is Herbert W Armstrong, bringing you the plain truth of today's world news, and the prophecies of the woorrld tomorrow" -whereupon yet another amazing prophecy is revealed about a place of safety.
The fake apostle could never admit truth as to his 50 years of stupidity.
Just remembering the old rumor. Plus, I can see it in his character to do something like leave a time bomb behind like that.
That makes sense, BB. That would explain why I kept asking if the splintered ACOGs still believed in HWA's 19-year time cycles with no answer or response.
Richard
"I was born in 1991. 1991 was the start of another 19 year time cycle." -- I recall HWA talking about 19-year time cycles, but did he ever state where he got that theory from? And is there any evidence scientifically for such a thing? I have never seen it in the Bible, so I cannot accept such a thing. And who cares if it was true? Does that make Samuel Kitchen a special person because he was born in 1991?
I bet most of the site users were already in a church by then, and look at Samuel as a young pipsqueak upstart.
The 19 year time cycle, or Metonic Cycle, is a phenomenon of the lunar/solar calendar. It relates to the timing of the repeating phases of the moon. As an example, the full moons for this year will not hit at the same time and day as this year until 19 years from now.
My parents explained that to me when I was a young boy, but blew it. They included all of the planets' positions, not just the moon. With the differences in the sizes of the planetary orbits, and their speeds, that would be impossible.
At any rate, I do not recall any definitive scriptural proof texts for 19 year time cycles. There was speculation about the length of Paul's ministry. Supposedly, he was given two 19 year time cycles, which is why HWA thought he would have 2 of them to accomplish his work.
Actually, the last time I was actively being taught Armstrongism was at the end of my one and only 19 year time cycle with R/WCG. It would be interesting to know if others recalled possible proof texts.
BB
Someone wondered if the ACOG splinters were still teaching 19 year time cycles. Well, they are fools if they do, because these cycles have been proven to be unreliable for the purpose of planning one's life. HWA had taught 19 year cycles without variables for many years. Then, when his prophecy timeline failed, he introduced some unanticipated variables as he furiously back-pedalled..
Can you imagine reading in "the new" Book of Acts, "At the end of his second time cycle, the brethren were not ready for Jesus to return, so God blessed Herbert son of Horace with ads in Readers Digest Magazine!"
BB
I stand corrected on the birthdate question. I found some thing online identifying. The guy has 34 years old. I have no question as to my memory, but apparently it’s a different dude.
I’m the first to acknowledge an error.
That's OK Lee! But my question still stands. Was he born in January and more specifically the first week of January to be consistent with HWA's 19-year time cycles?
Richard
What I am finding interesting is that on the Dean post of June 10, 2025, Samuel Kitchen responded directly to Byker Bob so we know he is monitoring the Banned site. Yet, he did not respond to either Lee Walker or me when we both questioned his 1991 19-year time cycle claim. So Samuel, we all know you are monitoring Banned. Were you born in January, 1991, and more specifically, in the first week of January consistent with Herbert Armstrong's exact time cycle?
Richard
That description of the 19-year time cycle would suggest that it might even be considered as astrology!
A couple of things caught my eye as I read some comments in the section titled: CONCLUSION: A CALL TO FAITHFUL GOVERNANCE, which stated the following:
"...The governance challenges our church faces are significant but not insurmountable......
Our church stands at a crossroad......
The future of our church depends not primarily on ...... "
There is a lot of emphasis there on "our church." What happened to the "Church of God?" What happened to "God's Church?" God? The Good News?
Is it any wonder that the United Ass. may seem to stand at some crossroads?
As Joey Tkach began moving further and further away from the WCG, he often referred to the organization as "our church," as though God were non-existent. Where is Joey today? Where is WCG today? Where is Ambassador College today? What happened to "our church," a phrase that now the United Ass. is using?
Continuing on with the conclusion was the following comment:
"...In the spirit of the apostle Paul’s exhortation, let us “make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace” (Ephesians 4:3 ) as we navigate these waters together. And may our governance reforms, like all our endeavors, ultimately serve to bring glory to God and advance the kingdom of Christ in our world.
Now, the United Ass. is going to navigate some waters! How troubling are those waters? How dangerous are those waters, today? Next week...month...year?...time is telling!
I am reminded of that movie called Ratatouille where the question was asked: "If he wishes to swim in dangerous waters, who are we to deny him?"
And who are we to deny those of the United Ass. if they wish to navigate in dangerous waters?
HWA selected Joe Tkach Sr. to follow in his footsteps, and not any of the other remaining hirelings of the former WCG, who all think God selected them instead to do something "great" for God......when God had no intention of using any one of them, who were "little helpers" of HWA.
And HWA knew that Joe was not the man to carry on the work as it was done through himself, but HWA was convicted that God had inspired him to choose Joe, and none others, not even Aaron Dean. Did God make a mistake? Time is telling.
Did God intend for an organization collecting approximately $200 milion/year, sending out about 8 million Plain Truth (What's that?) magazines/month, having about 140,000 members including children, to become dismantled under the leadership of Joe Tkach Sr., and have virtually everyone scattered?
Does a "church in Philadelphia" (obviously nothing to do with Flurry and his incorporation under that name) still exist today? Does the church of the Laodiceans still exist today?
Does the United Ass. have anything to do with any of the churches mentioned in Revelation 2-3, or is it just another man-made association created by hirelings of the former WCG who just went off, like so many others, in a little pout to do "their own thing?"
Time will tell...
John
Avoura said, "That description of the 19-year time cycle would suggest that it might even be considered as astrology!"
MY COMMENT - Agreed! HWA's 19-year time cycle was pure speculation with no basis in the Bible. The R/WCG published a booklet entitled "1975 in Prophecy" that was speculative based on the unspoken assumption of HWA's 19-year time cycle. I remember Art Gilmore narrated a World Tomorrow broadcast that referred to "19 years later" from the beginning of the Philadelphia era with HWA's first radio broadcast on KORE in the first week of January 1934. There was no scriptural reference cited. I heard Herbert Armstrong say in person at the 1970 Feast of Tabernacles in Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania (and, this is a direct quote written in my Feast brochure notes), "Our work could end in the first week of January 1972." No scripture was cited.

Gamaliel, John! Gamaliel!
Well, I didn't come right out and say it, Avoura, but, yeah, that's what I consider it to be! Astrology. Or its close cousin, numerology.

That could have been a random thing, Richard, or it could be that there have been a few things I've actually complimented Sam on over the years. One of them was those awesome athletic shoes he had designed. For that moment in time, they actually transcended our discussions of Armstrongism.

BB, you know Sam personally? If so, ask him about who I might’ve been talking to in 1988.
As for athletic shoes, I’m impressed. The guy works as a window washer, which I also remember being a somewhat popular profession for members. You can pick your own hours, and a lot of clients want want you working on Saturday anyway.
That is supposed to be, DON’T want you working on Saturday.
Alrighty! You're going Assyrian on me, John, but I prefer Jewish examples. You just can't beat Talmudic logic!
