There are some people who are truly spiritually sick such as the spiritually suppressed and the possessed. Many today are what we call “perfectly possessed”. Modern psychologists call this condition “Narcissistic personality disorder”. The fact of the matter is, there are demonic forces which human “science” simply cannot understand without the reality of pure Christian doctrine. The perfectly possessed is a far more sinister condition; the main difference is that the “perfectly possessed” person is not out of control but very much in control and calculated.
The Church of God does believe in the practice of exorcism in special and specific circumstances. This involves counsel from the administrative body of the Church of God [such as Pastors & Evangelists] and should only be approved by the active Porter [Elder Chief or Pastor General] of the church.
