Dave Pack: Mockers Are Making Fun of Me!

Dave Pack, the leader of the most superfantabulous Church of God to ever exist in humanoid history is proving he is thin skinned.  After gloating about a supposed number  people that have checkout his weekend rants, he has to get a dig in at those of us that mock him.  Oh Boo Hoo!  Does the crybaby need his diaper changed?

You will notice as he starts off his weekly rant that he wants you to be impressed by numbers.  Numbers are important to Dave.  He assumes that with each high number we will be impressed.  those pussy boys in LCG and PCG cnat get these numbers so we are to stand in awe of Davey.

Over 20,000 people have read my mid-March article “God’s People Back Together—SOON!” (with dozens more every day). The great majority of these thousands are asleep and in disbelief of the prophecy. Some of the same thousands are reading every week, many no doubt out of curiosity but most of the others simply in disbelief (this includes mockers looking for “entertainment”). A few hundreds (possibly thousands) of readers appear to be in partial or even full agreement. This means most are not yet reading and believing what is being posted.

Dave is still bristling that the fact that the overwhelming majority of COG members and ex-members  continue to ignore him.  Even worse, they don't send him their money.

Davey though thinks that we will be in soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much awe in the next few weeks from his glorious words that we will stop mocking him and return home to the "truth once delivered" and join forces with the most superfantabulous COG ever to exist.

The prophecy that I have been explaining actually reveals that this would happen. But the content and magnitude of coming announcements will change both these positions in a BIG WAY in weeks to come. The prophecy also makes this plain. Everyone will be reading these announcements, and soon everyone who hopes to retain God’s Spirit will have to ACT on their content. (Some thousands have already followed God’s Spirit back to His Church—His House.) Eventually, MANY thousands more will come!

Is Dave Pack Being A Modern Day Charlemagne In Regards To Tithing?

Tithing Re-examined by Dwight Pryor

Thanks to a reader for sending this to me.

Here is an interesting short discussion on tithing and why it is NOT a requirement today for Christians.  This goes against all of Armstrongism, because that is the money making engine for the church.  Instead of people freely giving because they feel blessed, they are forced to tithe, the antithesis of everything in Scripture.

A few comments from the 17 minute piece.

  • Tithing not about accumulating material goods.  Tell that to Dave Pack and Gerald Flurry!
  • Not legally bound to tithe but give generously, joyously, periodically and proportionately.   Was for the community of Israel and is not relevant to us today.
  • The new testament talks about giving generously, not tithing.
  • Preachers who put their congregations under enormous guilt and preach a kind of legalism insisting that they give 10% because that church is the storehouse, the right to collect it and use it as they see fit.  This describes the broad majority of Armstrongite churches today.
  • Those that espouse tithing base it on the Hebrew scriptures and NEVER tell you the whole story.  A Jew in the bible is to give between 20-25% of their income.
  • Orthodox Jews do not tithe today because the Temple does not exist. However, as an ethnic group, Jews give more proportionately than any other group in America.
  • Tithing was not done by the New Testament church,

  • Middle ages, 6th century,  Tithing imposed by the church under direction of Charlemagne when the church joined forces with the state.  It was especially forced upon the Jews.  Its was imposed to build the great edifices today.  They were built by imposed state taxes called tithing.  This sounds exactly like Dave Pack.  He has to build his great edifices in Wadsworth to make a name for himself.  In order to do that he imposes tithing and demanded offerings. He can't accomplish that in his writings or by his character, so has to intimidate and impose his demands in order to build his large edifices.

Philadelphia Church of God (Flurry Cult) Thinks They Know What It Means To Be A Woman

Gerald Flurry's son, Stephen, an Ambassador drop-out has written an article letting you know what he thinks it means to be a woman.

Of course we should all know by now that Armstrongism has the only correct view on what women are to be: pregnant and subservient to the man who is the ruler of the household and futur King of a world.  Women must know how to cook and clean and bear appropriate sons.

Stevie writes:

What are the differences between men and women? What makes a man a real man? Or a woman a real woman? What are “masculine” and “feminine” characteristics?

These questions are very basic and fundamental to each of our lives. Yet many are completely ignorant—confused! And they have no idea that they don’t know. Some actually say the only differences are differences people have made up. In fact, many colleges and now high schools are teaching that most gender characteristics are a matter of choice! That is absolutely false!

Of course, Armstrongism's god knows all"

In families and in society, God expects men to fulfill a certain role—and women to fill an entirely different role. Knowing what those roles are and how to fulfill them with confidence is absolutely essential to anyone’s true education. It will mean the difference between happiness and frustration—in your friendships, in your career, in your home.

Women, you must be subject to the domination of your husband.

Now turn to Ephesians 5 and see how this one-flesh union works. “Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it” (verses 22-25). God’s purpose, we see here, was for men and women to serve each other. His purpose was for them to work together as a team, with the husband as team leader and the wife as personal assistant (i.e. personal slave.)

There is only one thing you need to be doing in life.  It's not about working, being involved in charities, or spending lots of time with friends and neighbors.  In fact, if they are outside the church you should not be associating too much with them.  Their paganism will rub off on you.

That ought to be your aim in life—to find a strong, loving man, who fears God and follows Christ’s example—and then to determine to support that man for the rest of your life. With that in mind, let’s consider four feminine characteristics you ought to be developing now, in preparation for your future.

Stevie says you need to be educated on how to be a woman.

  • Education
  • In Titus 2:5, the Apostle Paul admonished young women to be homemakers and to love their children. You cannot fulfill these responsibilities later in life without much education and training now!
  • To become a Proverbs 31 woman, you need to honor your parents, travel whenever possible, study hard at school, read a lot in your spare time, become hospitable—a real joy to be around—and then learn to really think about and meditate on all that you see and learn.
  • Heallth

  • Notice what else about the virtuous woman: “She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms” (verse 17). She’s not trying to be a man—or do manly things. But this woman does not shy away from hard labor. Strength and honor are her clothing, it says in verse 25. She’s a picture of health.
  •  She’s not trying to be a man—or do manly things. But this woman does not shy away from hard labor. Strength and honor are her clothing, it says in verse 25. She’s a picture of health.
  • Did you know that the foundation of physical beauty is actually good health? When is the last time you have seen a really attractive sick person? Without good health, you will lose vibrancy and radiance. You will lose your appeal.  (Appearances in Armstrongism is always a 1st priority.)
  •  Work

  • The Proverbs 31 woman works! Verse 15 says she rises early (no doubt because she goes to bed early) because there is so much work to be done. She avoids “idleness,” it says in verse 27. That means she keeps busy—not with trivial, unimportant things—but by making quality goods and caring for her children. Read verses 12-16. She can make almost anything with her hands. She travels great distances to shop—not for trendy clothes, cds or junk food—but for goods her family needs. She even buys property so she can produce healthier food—and at a lower cost. This is a hard-working, industrious mom we are talking about!
  • Read verses 18-22 and you will notice something in stark contrast to the modern woman of today. The virtuous woman is more concerned about saving money than she is about making money.  (Shopping at Salvation Army or Goodwill is a necessity,, unless you are a ministers wife and then its off to Bloomingdales or Nordstroms.)
  •  Character:

  • Like Solomon and the Apostle Paul, Peter also offers much instruction on the example young women ought to emulate. In 1 Peter 3:1, he admonishes wives to be in subjection to their husbands—to let their husbands rule the house like Christ rules the Church. He then goes on to describe conduct of a virtuous woman: “Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price” (verses 3-4). Here Peter describes a woman who is more concerned about adorning her character than she is her outward appearance. That doesn’t mean she looks sloppy. It just means her outward beauty is a reflection of what’s on the inside.

True femininity is an attitude. It’s learning the art of service and sacrifice, without expecting anything in return. It’s having a gentle and peaceable spirit. It’s about seeing your role as a female the way God sees it. It’s about placing top priority on your husband’s success and your children’s happiness.

What a career that is. As Alexis de Tocqueville wrote in Democracy in America, nowhere does a woman enjoy a higher station in life than that of helpmeet and mother.
So there you have it.  All of you sinful, brawling women out here in COGland you need to repent and return to the truth in the PCG so that you can become a REAL woman.
