Dave Pack - A Double-Minded Man Is Unstable In All His Ways

Dueling Daves

The movie “Deliverance" starring John Voight and Burt Reynolds, was released in 1972. During an iconic scene, Ronny Cox and a young boy have an impromptu musical duet titled “Dueling Banjos.” They were both trying to outplay each other.

Amos 3:3

Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

In 1804, Vice President Aaron Burr fatally shot Alexander Hamilton in a duel. They obviously could not walk together.

But what happens when the person you need to duel is yourself?

James 1:8

A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.

David C. Pack brings that scripture to life. It is almost as though James had him in mind when it was written.

The documented patterns of instability and back-and-forth teachings from The Restored Church of God are astonishingly consistent. Facts and time make the case very clear, transcending the realm of personal opinion.

During “The Greatest Unending Story! (Part 414)” on January 14, a “new” prophetic construct was recycled from old machine parts. Abib 1 was previously filed under "Been there, done that.”

The Day of the Lord is now set for March 22, 2023, starting at 7:40 pm ET.

Part 414 – January 14, 2023

@ 1:07:49 So then, what did the Bible just directly tell you is the Day of the Lord? Abib 1. It’s impossible to argue with that.

@ 1:08:46 I could stop the sermon now and go on to other things, but I’ve decided I’m just gonna drive it home and crush all idea that the Day of the Lord is not Abib 1.

But that was three long days ago, and anything is possible by now.

Is the Day of the Lord, which is the beginning of the Kingdom of God, which is when Jesus Christ returns, going to occur at sunset on March 22, 2023? Is it impossible to see it any other way? Is it inarguable?

Pester General David C. Pack, please signify 1 for “Yes” and 2 for “No.”

1 Kings 18:21

…How long halt you between two opinions?

Since the votes are even, stand back and let David C. Pack duel David C. Pack on the matter to settle this once and for all.

The question for him is simple: On which date does the Kingdom of God arrive?

For everyone else, can you determine which of the following men told lies?

The Kingdom of God Arrives On…?

Okay, those were trick questions.

The answers are: All these men told lies. The Kingdom of God will not arrive on any of those dates.

Note that Thanksgiving Day and New Year’s Eve were excluded as videos but are included on the very long list of failed dates which stands at 37 since June of 2022.

Anyone who believes a single word of David C. Pack has no excuse. He may have some speaking skills and the ability to string Bible verses together to get them to say what he desires at the time, but he has been doing that since 2012 and has never had anything he said come to pass.

Deuteronomy 18 is not the only place the Bible spells out how to manage such people.

David C. Pack is a false apostle. He is a false prophet. He is not revealing The Mystery of God. God is not guiding him to teach “The Greatest Untold Story!”

The David C. Pack of today will perpetually duel the David C. Pack of yesterday.

Gerald Weston's Unstable World

Where would the COG be without finding some event in the news as PROOF that we are in the end times?

This past week a software maintenance worker for the FAA uploaded an update that caused the system to crash and the grounding of flights around the country.

The ground stop and Federal Aviation Administration systems failures Wednesday morning that impacted thousands of flights across the U.S. appear to have been the result of a mistake that occurred during routine scheduled systems maintenance, according to a senior official briefed on the internal review.

An engineer “replaced one file with another,” the official said, not realizing the mistake was being made. As the systems began showing problems and ultimately failed, FAA staff feverishly tried to figure out what had gone wrong. The engineer who made the error did not realize what had happened.

“It was an honest mistake that cost the country millions,” the official said.

Of course, Weston, being the scaremonger he is took this as a complete breakdown of the system and a sure sign the end is near. Coupling that with the heavy rains in California and the unrest in Brazil (which is nothing new for Brazil and has been going on for decades) and the world is unraveling at the seams, more sure sign the end times are here. Weston is turning into another Bob Thiel.

Greetings from Charlotte,

In this week’s video update, I reported on Mr. and Mrs. Cristian Orrego’s planned trip to Guatemala, Mexico City, Tijuana, and La Paz in Baja California Sur. I also mentioned several other items, including a new initiative to begin translations into the Italian language. We are beginning to gear up for summer camps in the Northern Hemisphere by conducting meetings, having staff get certifications, and encouraging campers and staff to apply early for planning purposes. This week, all air traffic in the United States was grounded for several hours, the first time since 9/11, when some kind of computer problem occurred. It will take several days to work through the logjam. There is a report below on storms affecting the brethren in California. Please remember them in your prayers. Brazil saw thousands of disgruntled citizens storm Congress, the Supreme Court, and the Presidential Palace last Sunday. This kind of thing is not historically new for South America, but it demonstrates that our world is no more civilized than in the past and is one of many signs that we live in an unstable world.—Gerald Weston

LCG: The Two Trees

After decades of hearing Herbert Armstrong harp on the "two trees," the Living Chruch of God continues to carry on that tradition. With its focus entirely upon blessings and cursing of the old covenant, it cannot comprehend why a new covenant follower of Christ does not need to worry about the two trees or any of the myths that Armstrongism has tied into its worship of the law over Jesus and the new covenant, a covenant that is better.

The Lesson of Two Trees: The book of Genesis contains what many believe is a quaint little tale about two trees: the tree of life, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil that Adam and Eve were forbidden to eat from. Yet they made a fateful choice to ignore God’s instructions, and they reaped the consequences (see Genesis 2:15–17; 3:1–23). However, this is more than a quaint little story. The two trees picture two ways of life—of obeying God’s laws or turning away and rejecting His instructions. This important theme runs through the Scriptures. The covenant God made with Israel promised blessings for obedience and curses for disobedience (Leviticus 26; Deuteronomy 28). David repeated this same message about blessings for the righteous and curses for the ungodly (Psalm 1). Jesus also focused on the need to choose between two different ways of life: a narrow way that leads to life and a broad way that leads to destruction (Matthew 7:13–14). We need to learn a vital lesson from these two trees so we can make wise decisions.
Have a profitable Sabbath, Douglas S. Winnail

Winnail and LCG prefer to remain in slavery to the bondwoman instead of being free with the free woman:

Galatians 4:30-31 NIV

30 But what does Scripture say? “Get rid of the slave woman and her son, for the slave woman’s son will never share in the inheritance with the free woman’s son.”[a] 31 Therefore, brothers and sisters, we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman.

Why do they insist on being in bondage to the old covenant? All it does is bring constant condemnation because no one in the COG has ever been able to keep the entire law. In fact, the law was instituted so that sin might increase (Roman 5:20).

Paul compares being under the Law to being born of Hagar, the bondwoman. “She is in slavery with her children.” But those who are children of promise are free. He concludes, “It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery” (Gal. 4:25; 5:1).

The law was never able to forgive sins, but the new covenant does. This seems to irritate the hell out of COG leaders.
