E W King the Ex-Hari Krishna, ex-Church of God Member and Leader, ex-Prophet and Authority on the Mind is Now the Father of Modern Beatnik Music

The craziness coming out of Eric King continues to astound.  He has jumped from one fundamentalist cult to the next several times.  He has declared himself a prophet, a leader of the end time true church, as qualified to delve into the mysteries of the mind and much more.

A few days ago E W Kings prophetic utterances and Church of God malarkey disappeared from the public view.  In its place a new movement appeared.  Eric is now considered the originator and godfather of the "Modern Beatnik" movement.

Here are quotes from an article about King and his music.  It also points out a new facet of King.  he was once a Hari Krishna.  Obviously King has a deep need for a spiritual identity is is searching for something that has meaning to him.  Not fining that need met in the Hari Krishna's, Seventh Day Adventists and Armstrongism, perhaps he has finally found his soul nourishd with music.

Beatniks are known for their antimaterialistic stance and search for truth by understanding the human spirit. It is true that the early first Beatniks were fairly conservative and highly intellectual. It is said that the title "beatnik" simply means one who has been "beaten-down" [metaphorically] by a non-acceptance of society. Usually the Beatnik feels that mainstream society cannot understand him or her and thus rejection. This is why Beatniks find shelter by hanging out with other Beatniks.

In early 2001 Eric William King started forming a very basic acoustic sound with his guitar which has now become known as "Modern Beatnik". Eric played in a band after he dropped out of High-school. He played hardcore punk in garages and backyards. He was once a Hare Krishna. He traveled through the United States by himself on a Greyhound bus when he was only sixteen, running away to his sisters who at the time lived in Florida.

The term "Modern Beatnik" was used among friends as early as 1984. Eric started the MODERN ACOUSTIC BEATNIK SOUND.
It is easy to see why King found Armstrongism appealing.  Armstrongites have always felt "beaten down" by the world and Satan.  They are martyrs for the truth. Society has ever really has accepted them.  They are tolerated and praised as long as they are doing a few "good works" but within a few months or years their impact is nil.  Armstrongism has always felt marginalized and has taken delight in that.  They deep down love the rejection it brings. It legitimizes their "understanding."

He began to teach the Bible in his late twenties. He has been married twice. His second wife passed away at a young age. He started a highly controversial "Worldwide Church of God" ministry on October 7th of 2011. His ministry is now only open to members. He works with animals and plays his guitar to this day and offers his music to the newly and highly controversial movement known as the Modern Beatnik Movement or Moby~Nik for short.

Eric dresses plain, sometimes like your standard Beatnik and sometimes with a cowboy look. He sometimes talks about his Cherokee heritage mixed with UFO's and the Bible. He is definitely an interesting "cat" ~ groovy to say the least.

I have a sneaky suspicion that the web site and this "author" writing about King is none other than King himself.  If it is not him it is one of his acolytes writing what King has told him to write. It was easy to see on his world prophecy site that he wrote about himself and even commented on his own comments.

Someday, this messed up guy may truly find peace, but I have a feeling we are going to see even more strange things transpire.

From Prophet to Beefcake

I guess being a prophet was a little too much for Eric King.  He seems to be placing more focus upon his music.  Though I wonder why he calls himself a "beatnik" since most of his music is more along the "country" genre.  He should stick to his music because he certainly is better at that than he is at church and prophetic interpretations!

The Famine of the Word is HERE!!!!! Did A COG Leader Flee to Petra, Get Raptured, Hiding Out in a Sweat Lodge or Become a Professional Beatnik?

The famine of the word is here!  Gods most mighty servant E. W King no longer has a public ministry where he can witness to the WCG or to new comers.

After enduring the last two to three years of being mocked endlessly for his crazy beliefs it seems he has wandered off into the sunset with his sheep dog and horses.

His journey has been a mixed bag of cultish nonsense.  What he was before the Seventh Day Adventist Church I have no idea, but he thought he was a major voice in that church.  Then he became disillusioned that no one as listening to him so he because a Worldwide Church of God member.  If he though no one listened to him in the SDA church he had a LOT to learn about Armstrongism.  They too ignored him causing him to start his own web based church where he claimed to be the only leader holding on to the truth of Herbert Armstrong.  While doing that he also immersed himself in to Native American spiritual that sent him further overboard.  He even made a foray into being "A Modern Beatnik" where he "blows your mind" with "And the Wind Blows."

His blog where he boasted about his mind boggling prophetic powers now comes back with this:

His main church blog comes back with this:

If King really thinks he is that important and that his ministry is holding on to the truth then WHY has he abandoned the world around him?  Is he only letting in a select few of loyal followers?  If so then he has betrayed the world around him and is willing to let people suffer horrific deaths in the endtimes because he was an impotent unwilling man who cared more about his hurt feelings than he did about their salvation.

New Book By COG7 Is Sure To Send Armstrongist COG Groups Into Fits Of Anger

For many decades there were several books that the Worldwide Church of God used and considered "sacred" to the legacy of Armstrongism. They were, Hislop's Two Babylons, Foxes Book of Martyrs and The History of the True Religion.

The History of the True Religion, by A.N. Dugger and C.O Dodd was a mainstay in the church because it reportedly told the story of HWA's contemporaries of the Church of God in Salem, Oregon of which Herbert Armstrong was part of and ordained in.

The latest issue of the The Journal of the Churches of God has an article up by Horst Obermeit about a new book by the Church of God Seventh Day.

Obermeit says:

Mr. Coulter’s factual reporting from the church’s Colorado archives gives a much better understanding of the history behind the beginning of the Radio Church of God (which was renamed the Worldwide Church of God in 1968 and Grace Communion International in 2009).
The RCG/WCG/GCI began with Herbert W. Armstrong’s membership and ministry in the CG7. Mr. Coulter states in his introduction that the archived records show that Andrew Dugger’s and C.O. Dodd’s book A  History of the True Church made little use of the church’s historical archives.
Rather, the Dugger-and-Dodd book, says Mr. Coulter, is a counterfeit history of the church that has been soundly rejected by the General Conference of the Church of God (Seventh Day) as its genuine history
Then Obermeit mentions something from the book that will send many in the Church of God in to raging fits of denial:
Mr. Coulter shows that the Churches of God are not a continuation of an apostolic beginning. They do not have their origins in earlier Sabbath-keeping Christians in Western Europe.
He states that the claim by various COGs of an apostolic succession is “pure fantasy!”
He further states: “The Church of God (Seventh Day) had a definite beginning here in the United States. It is strictly an American institution. All of the earliest pioneers of the Church became Adventist through William Miller’s  Adventist movement of the 1830s-1840s.
“None of the earliest founders of the Church practiced Sabbath keeping at the time of their conversion to Christianity, nor practiced an annual communion service.
Then Obermiet mentions how the book has this to say about Herbert Armstrong:

The chapter titled “Herbert W. Armstrong’s Relationship to the Church of God” gives evidence that Mr. Armstrong was less than honest about his relationship with the Church of God (Seventh  Day).
It also points out flaws in Mr. Armstrong’s “egotistical claim of being God’s man of the hour,” as Mr. Coulter puts it.
Imagine that, the Churches of God do not have ties tot the Waldenses that so many of them falsely claim today. The Churches of God are an American invention just like the LDS church is and is not carrying on any apostolic succession.

Imagine that HWA was less than honest... the house of cards continues to fall down!

This book is definitely being added to my COG collection of books!

Jan Young Claims The Earth And Every Species On It Was Created In 144 Hours

Jan Young is back with more words of wisdom (page7) for us all.  This time it is on the creation of the earth and every living organism and creature on it.

He created heaven and earth in 144 hours. The Sabbath command includes this:
Ex 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the  seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
He created heaven, earth and sea in 6 days. He created earth’s biosphere of flora and fauna, not the universe in that time. Each of these 6 days was the same length as the 7th, not millennial-type days, but the 24-hour kind. Same timing described in His Sabbath covenant:
Ex 31:17 It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.
While there is the analogy of 6 millennial type ‘days’ plus 1 Sabbath ‘day’ of about 1000 years (2 Pet 3:8), this is based on the 6 literal days to create heaven and earth plus 1st Sabbath then.

According to that logic, Jan's god created over 8,7000,000 living organisms and creatures in 144 hours. With 6.5 million species on land and 2.2 million in oceans that sure is a hell of a lot of work to do in a few hours.

His god apparently just snapped his fingers and all this came into being.  His kind of god would not be able to sit down and plan each living species out in all its intricate glory.  It apparently just magically happened in 144 hours.

Did you know dinosaurs were created in Satan's image because is the "dragon?"  Young also seems to think that dinosaurs roamed are are still roaming distant worlds.

Since radiometric dating is off, many creationists believe planet earth was created with the universe about 6000 years ago; that dinosaurs and Adam co-existed.—But Lucifer and his angels sinned prior to man (Jude 6). Dinosaurs dominated in world(s) created in Satan’s image of dragon. Though not 65 million years ago since some Tyrannosaurus Rex fossils have been found with soft tissues and blood vessels
Young also has solved the age old question, 'Which came first, the chicken or the egg?"

He does not state anywhere how old the earth or universe is, so is not a liar. Movies in 2 dimensions can seem to show past or future events. Surely God can show more in 3-D. Adam and Eve were made in adult form and so must many plants for them to eat. Animals also made as mature, so the chicken came first and not the egg. Jesus created bread and fish with apparent age in miracles to feed thousands. Created the end products immediately. So stars looking millions of years old at their creation is very possible. Then there are also the eons before Gen 1:1 when the universe existed, and later planet earth (to which many creationists disagree).
Next he combines science with creation myths of Armstrongsm.  That is the only way they can justify all the incongruities in the world around them.
Tameness and no meat eaters rules out many dinosaurs in the time of man, and the beasts in Adam’s time came to him to be named (Gen 2:19-20). Though mankind can on a limited basis tame any animal (James
3:7), as horse whisperer or snake charmer.
Apparently during the Adamic World humans and animals did not eat meat. Note the distinct source of food of Gen 1:29-30. And notice the change after Noah’s Deluge in 9:2-3. Though Abel offered a meat sacrifice to God, sheep are used for more than meat, as wool.
There were differences between that world and now of low relief, not high mountains. No jungles, tundras, deserts or ice caps. Apparently just a one world continent or Pangaea with all continents joined as one. No oceans. Each world-age is unique with special conditions different from other worlds. Though some are the same. The basic foundation of the planet earth remains the same.
