God doesn't see 2008 as man counts years.. 2008 is as a 2016 and 2016 as a 2008

LOL, good job Ronny-boy! Dave Pack also made this mistake.

When I set up shop as a self-declared prophet, I'm never going to open my big fat mouth and tell everyone I'm a false prophet when my prophecies don't come to pass.

Let's not forget that bible-god also made this mistake...

Deuteronomy 18:22 If a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord but the thing does not take place or prove true, it is a word that the Lord has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; do not be frightened by it.

Then Jesus comes along and prophesies falsely, no different than Pack or Weinerdude...

Matthew 10:23 When they persecute you in one town, flee to the next; for truly I tell you, you will not have gone through all the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.

Matthew 10:28 Truly I tell you, there are some standing here who will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.

"Truly I tell you" indeed! Step aside, Dave and Ron, and let Jebus, the master, show you how you how to prophesy falsely and get away with it.

Those are the words the Roman fiction writers put in there to support their emperor being the long awaited savior. Titus was the one who fulfilled it in 71 AD, but as a mere man who would die, the whole thing had to be switched around to a future returning savior or the whole shebang would come crashing down and there'd be no Christian Church. People like to mess with things like that and the best example is the way our Second Amendment has been twisted to mean every deranged malcontent can parade around with a gun and claim to be a well regulated militia member.

Anon.10:06.. First check Mathew 10:28, you must mean 16:28, but anyway, before you comment as if you knew what you were talking bout, it's quite obvious Jesus could not have meant those he was talking to would be alive at his second coming. So it must mean something else, so why not do some homework and find out what he meant before embarassing yourself anymore. And what's with you guys who imitate one another and call him Jebus, whatever that's supposed to mean, it's just another stupid childish comment from someone trying to be funny but it's about as funny as a toothache, Jebus, how dumb, grow up.

Hi all, just a reminder from John the baptist to bear fruit. John knew that God wants big juicy profits. Are you listening GraceGuy?

Matthew 3:8 Produce fruit that is consistent with repentance!
Matthew 3:10 The ax already lies against the roots of the trees. So every tree that isn't producing good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.

I'm sure he would agree that you maximize your profits, and minimize your losses.

Cheers, Trading Guy

" before you comment as if you knew what you were talking about, it's quite obvious Jesus could not have meant those he was talking to would be alive at his second coming. So it must mean something else, so why not do some homework and find out what he meant before embarrassing yourself anymore."

OK...let's do our homework

"Take heed that no man deceive YOU." (Matt 24:4)
"...YOU shall hear of wars..." (Matt 24:6)

"Then shall they deliver YOU up to be afflicted..." (Matt 24:9)

"When YE therefore shall see the the abomination of desolation..." (Matt 24:15)

"But pray YE that your flight be not in the winter..." (Matt 24:20)

"Behold, I have told YOU before." (Matt 24:25)

The proof that Jesus himself meant the people he was talking to is found in the fact that the "this generation" comment is actually the tale end of a much larger, often overlooked quote taken in it's entirety.

"So likewise YE when YE shall SEE ALL these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto YOU, THIS generation shall not pass, till ALL these things be fulfilled."

Count the "You"s in the entire chapter. It meant THEM and the knew it.

There is no reason to twist the words of Jesus to mean more than they were ever intended to mean. A scripture can never mean what it never meant. The early disciples and infant Church, knew it meant them and we see the gradual deterioration of their personal confidence in the immediacy of the Second Coming promise throughout the NT.

I Thessalonians 4:15-17 "...For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout...Then WE which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air..."

Meaning...some would die, but not us who tell you this. Jesus still means us.

I Corinthians 15:51,52 "...We shall not all sleep, but WE shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump..."

Meaning...you will die, but we won't but it all works out...Jesus still meant us.

Romans 13:11-12 "And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand..."

Meaning...we had some doubts, but now we know it's almost here. Jesus still meant us.

James 5:8 "Be ye also patient; establish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh."

Meaning...impatience was growing, hang in there. Jesus still meant us.

I John 2:18 "Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time."

Meaning...Jesus still meant us.

I Peter 4:7 "But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer."

Meaning... I mean YOU

Revelation 22:20 "He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly...."

Meaning...ok, it's been about 60 years, but Jesus still means us.

Obviously, everyone of these quoted hopes and statements were wrong. Jesus did not return for them and to date has not returned for anyone. Paul and the early church who wrote in his name was just as wrong as the many COG prophetic types are wrong in this time. And it is based on the fact that Jesus himself was wrong which I know most Christians can never come to admit. For Paul it becomes....

" I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing."

Meaning...Ok, I give up, Jesus didn't mean us, or at least not me. I was wrong. 2 Timothy 4:8-9

Yes, there is a definite disconnect between Ron and the beliefs he expresses. The arrogance and self-justification, and the false prophecies which he is constantly needing to amend and explain away give lie to the belief that his words come from God. Even if we chalked his wrongness up to a communication problem between himself and God, it still ends up at him being an unreliable messenger. He is not someone that one could depend on for spiritual guidance, or as a life coach.

After so many failures, surely a false prophet just has to realize what he is, and the penalty for being that. This could lead one to conclude that Ron is atheist. And, he's got lots of company as a false teacher, starting with HWA in our own era. These guys have the spirit of Gehazi!

Trade Dude,

Grace is big; bigger than trade. But, grace is trade too.

Grace is trading our measly, hard-squeezed fruit for the big juicy profits you mentioned.

Grace is Jesus trading His perfection for our imperfection.

Grace is God trading our sins for the righteousness of Jesus.

Grace is trading our failures for the best that God has to offer.

So, I have no problem with trade.

However, I said grace is bigger than trade. I therefore hope that when I discuss grace, I don’t come across as crazy as you do when you’re dishing the trade – because grace covers me (and you too!).

Hallelujah; grace is great, and so is being a bit crazy.

Trade on, Trade Dude!
