Restored Church of God: Now That Dave Has FAILED AGAIN, What Will RCG Members Do?

Dave Pack and his brain dead tithe slaves exemplifies BT Barnum's famous quote, "You can fool most of the people most of the time". P. T. Barnum But, Pack takes it a step further by fooling his dumb tithe slaves ALL the time, and by providing them with statements such as those contained in this video clip telling the damn fools exactly what he is doing.

Perhaps after giving all their assets and income to this false HWA wannabe and conman, the dumb tithe slaves feel "invested" in this communist fraud, they can't feel they can't get out. Or, they are too brain dead to realize how they have been bamboozled out of their life's savings.

No need for member Wills with Pack as beneficiary in the Packatolla Church of God since his communist common doctrine takes care of that. BUT, I wouldn't put it past the money hungry Pack to encourage members to take out life insurance policies naming Pack as beneficiary or the member estates with a Will naming Pack as beneficiary.

Pack seems to be such a low life bottom feeder that it wouldn't surprise me if he would lay legal claim through a signed agreement through Lake of Fire coercion to his followers' dead bodies so he can sell their body parts on the black markets extracting every last dollar he possibly can out of his dumb tithe slaves lives and bodies. I say this partly in jest, but partly not. I hope I haven't given Pack any ideas for a new revenue source from the same dumb tithe slaves.

I wonder how many people who have followed David C. Pack ever thought that they would end up being deceived, robbed, betrayed, and left destitute by a Satan-possessed false prophet like that? (Somehow, I do not think that Dave is merely demon-possessed. I suspect that Satan himself took over this one.)

How many people who thought they would never be fooled by a smooth-talking, false, religious leader ended up falling for a yelling, spitting, lying, stealing, false religious leader?

This probably is not how they imagined things would turn out when they first went with klepto-Dave Pack-of-lies.

What is this game that Dave plays in his head? He can't not think to himself that he fits all these criteria he blovates about to his brain dead groupies. His people can't miss this can they? How about the Council of the Retarded? Can they not see Dave speaks about himself and condemns himself when he opens his mouth?

What's this game all about? Is there anyone in RCG who can look this charlatan in the eye and say "Dave...that's you. That's what you've done and do when it comes to what you say is going to happen and the 50 irrefutable proofs , once again, that this time you are right and you aren't. What's with you Dave? Are you that blind, deaf and stupid?"

Waiting on an answer......

"What will RCG members do?"

Unfortunately, the correct answer is that they will give Dave a pass and let him do it to them again even as they dociley and lovingly smile. Most likely sooner rather than later. Somehow, he's got them convinced that as their leader and interpreter of the doctrines, his heart is in the right place, even if he makes a few "mistakes" or "doesn't fully understand" a couple of things along the way. They're probably feeling really glad, special, and privileged to have him as their guide.

What we say here does not even register with them.

Dave Pack said many times over the years of how amazed he was that a group of not so intelligent men could come along and take the belief of 50,000 people about as easy as taking candy from a baby.

You can probably guess who the not so intelligent men and the many gullible people were that he is referring to.

This is the same man that wrote a whole book excoriating Gerald Flurry for having taken the title of That Prophet and then went and did the same thing himself with not even a hint of shame.

That was just one book that had to be withdrawn from circulation and the ministry is still working to correct all the publications that are still being circulated.

Dave Pack's motto for his church and mandate for the ministry and member is that "we are an organization that is squeaky clean".

I for one barely made it to the exit door wading through all the donkey sheet.

Lake of Fire you have a good eye, for there is indeed a circus taking place in Wadsworth and the smell is getting quite ripe. I don't think the cleaners can keep up with what is being excreted on a daily basis.

@Richard: I strongly object to you calling the RCG members “brain dead tithe slaves”.

A lot of RCG members don’t agree with what’s going on, and can’t wait to free themselves from what you so fittingly describe as slavery. But they (including myself) won’t leave because they have a loved one in the RCG. What do you will happen to our loved ones if we, the ‘revolutionaries’ would walk out?

Pack’s grip on them would be even tighter..

You got that right!!!

We left RCG recently on the 6 March 2020 after a 3 to 4 month stint in the 'heart of darkness'.

Inside there is blindness and confusion. Very little spiritual nourishment but tons of speculation and a never ending multitude of proofs that are disproven within days. In the first week we were told Christ was coming (quietly, like a thief) in about a week. I thought, what about the preceding 6 trumpets and the great tribulation? Oh no, Mr Pack has given us NEW understanding. You have to understand Christ comes to prepare us for a year, before the 7th and 8th head.
Huh?

The story kept changing from week to week, from Bible study to Sabbath. The sermons were usually over 2 hours. One I recall went over 3 hours. Talk about information overload. It was an onslaught. Mr Pack kept saying, as soon as I'm done revealing the Mystery of God, Christ will come immediately.
I said to the members there, surely God would wait until we can make sense of it all because it was practically impossible to follow the reasoning.

Christ was meant to come before Xmas. Unfortunately, He didn't get the memo.
Then it was New Year's Day. Nope, no show.
Then it was CERTAIN to be Valentine's Day. HAD to be! If it didn't you will hear the sounds of the scriptures breaking. Again, Jesus was not on the bus. I didn't hear any scriptures breaking (but I am hard of hearing).

Now, all this might sound farcical - but it really wasn't at the time. It was very unsettling. On standby. On alert. Be vigilant, be watchful. Don't sleep. It was exhausting. It was crazy.

Anyway, during one sermon/study Mr Pack read a verse referring to David my anointed... and then paused and said, "hmmm, which David is that talking about? Hmmm, interesting." I said to someone afterwards that I reckon he wants someone to come to him and say, " You're that David!". And do you know what? A week or two later, that's exactly what happened. He said the people at HQ approached him and said he should share it with us. So he did. He claimed that Psalm 119 was referring to HIM as the anointed David... and he even mentioned that he remembered the day of his anointing - and quoted his baptism date to everyone - and said how humbling it all was.

I felt sick to the stomach. We left after hearing that bible study/sermon.

One thing is for sure - what you hear and read on the outside of the RCG website is nothing like the stuff you hear/read on the inside. It is as though they are hiding the heresy that is going on.

On leaving, I emailed the local members to try to wake them up. No one replied except for the deacon - but only to make excuses for Mr Pack and the RCG. He concluded, "The current trial is a tough one, but God is allowing it to occur." I replied, "You guys have been indoctrinated. Open your eyes." They can't seem to snap out of it. There is fear attached to leaving - because they are told they will 'burn' if they leave.

God is better than that. Ezekiel 34 says that there are no shepherds - and God himself will instead be forced to be our shepherd. So be it.

I would NOT want to be in Mr Pack's shoes. No sir! I hope it's not willful what he's doing - but rather that he's just completely deluded or deceived. Hard to conceive someone would waste their time making it all up if they knew they were going to die in the process. There are surely better ways to spend the last days of your existence.

Too bad this whole virus thing is just a giant hoax to destroy the economy. It would be nice if Packer got wiped out from the virus he might catch on the Sab.

I complained because I had no shoes. Until I saw Pack's shoes.

Dave was one of us who experienced January 7, 1972, another day when nothing happened. HWA was able to get that out of the way and most of the WCG went along with it. I was actually relieved when nothing happened! I don't know how Dave's remaining COGites will take his nth failed forecast.

I guess he hasn't read Christ's words about loving Him more than you love family members. There's also one other insidious problem with 11:01's logic. If each spouse feels it is important to keep up a pro-Pack facade in front of the other spouse, how will either of them find out about the other's private doubts? People like 11:01 who won't confide in a spouse are putting Pack ahead of their own marriages. If RCG members feel compelled to do this but don't realize that it's a sure sign to leave, then they are complicit in Pack's evil.

You make it sound easy. I’ve had many arguments about the RCG over the years with my husband, and the bottom line always is that he doesn’t want to leave. I do want to get away from that cult. Been wanting it for years.. But I love my husband, despite his ‘Pack craziness’.

So you tell me what to do: do I divorce him (because if I leave the RCG that is what they will tell him to do)? Or do I stay, praying that one day he will come to his senses?

11:01 Going along to get along has a limited shelf life. They are responsible for themselves, not you

I know. When I look at my husbands response to Pack, I see a junkie. A prophecy junkie.

Right now I’m clinging to ‘for better or for worse, in sickness and in health’. It just kinda turned into ‘to follow David Pack or divorce’..

I guess the hard question is who has priority in the member's life... Dave Pack, or the spouse?

Because if its the former, you're already at a disadvantage.

Dave is delusional bordering on mentally ill

8:34 hang there and don't pay attention to what others are telling you. These people have no idea how a wallpaper hanger could mesmerize a whole nation in the late 30's let alone what a man that has honed his talents for over 40 years can do to trusting minds.

The Christian thing to do is save a soul from destruction. You are in the perfect position to do this. The contributions we are getting whether written or recorded is invaluable for exposing just how far the mental degradation has gone in the RCG leader's mind.

This exposing will have an effect. People are seeing it, people are commenting, google is recording it and people are moving towards an actionable response.

Keep in mind what Paul told the Hebrews in 10:37 - but we are not of them who draw back unto destruction. That is where the dishonorable Mr. Pack is leading his membership.

Stay strong, have patience and continue to believe because you will be pulling your husband out of the fire Jude 1:22-23.

You have to think of your salvation. If you follow a false prophet, you will be judge accordingly. RGC is a cult. Would you stay in a cult that was making human sacrifices, because you were afraid that they woyld tell your husband to divorce you?? No logic there!!

His Wife is only there for his Cash and sex.

A few members in Australia have left Packs lies.

My husband is in Pack's camp and it appears that he thinks the man can do no wrong. He's in his office listening to everything that comes out in member services. He has actually told me that the church is more important to him than I am, even after being married for over 25 years. I've stayed with him hoping that he also would come to his senses, but it seems to me that he's more addicted with every passing day. I'm now at the point where I need to think of me, I can't help him, I don't want a shell of a marriage anymore, I want the whole thing. I realized that it will never happen as long as he's hooked, it has literally killed our relationship, I no longer can trust him with me. When other people are more important than the spouse then the marriage vows of forsaking all others have been broken. I sincerely hope that the wife above hasn't had that happen yet, maybe her husband still has room for her in his life, maybe she still is important to him. I wish her the best.

4:44am Before you give your husband even an inkling that you're considering this, open a separate savings account and get as much of your assets (50%) as possible in only your name. I don't know what you and your husbands net worth is but you need to get at least half that amount in only your name. If that means taking credit cards out in both your names, do it, when you go shopping take cash but put everything on that credit card while putting the cash in your sole account. As long as you only do that for 50% of your net worth you're not cheating him. He sure will cheat you out of your half and give it to Pack if he can.
