No one would have ever guessed decades ago that the Church of God would have a convicted felon leading a COG group, so it should really be no surprise to any of us that a COG leader would declare himself a king. A couple of years ago, the other failed prophet Gerald Flurry, did so when he idiotically declared that Herbert's "prayer rock" is the new coronation stone that his creature he calls "christ" will come back to be seated upon as king of kings.
The king of the Philadelphia Church of God has been in declining health for some time now as Lil'Stevie and his little cabal of HQ men plot behind the scenes for the soon-coming day he will be the Crown Prince of the PCG.
The PCG top brass does everything in its power to keep Gerald Flurry's face prominent in all church literature, videos, and publicity shots for the church. That all came to a screeching halt during this Feast of Tabernacles when the king fell out of his bathtub and was unable to deliver the always inspiring "Last Great Day" sermon.

The PCG is making every effort so as not to allow the spillover of this embarrassing news which happened during their Feast of Tabernacles this year. It was reported that, in the midst of their Feast, Gerald Flurry accidentally fell from a bathtub which made him incapable of delivering his Last Great Day message. The ministry had requested to pray for his healing and the members were expecting for a “group fast” very soon.
When are they going to wake up? Their God is not answering their prayers. There is no healing and people are dying. It’s like the words of Job, “When I looked for good, then evil came unto me: and when I waited for light, there came darkness.” (Job 30:26) –D. S.

“That Prophet” (GF) is definitely drawing closer to the end of his luxury-filled days when he (if he doesn’t repent) will have to give account to God for all the evil he has carried out which has ruined and destroyed lives. After he “kicks the bucket,” he will be elevated to the highest pedestal and given no end of accolades along with justifications as to why he was “taken out of the way.” It remains to be seen as to what biblical title or titles will be given to “2nd in command” lofty and proud instigator of evil” Stephen Flurry as he attempts to fill GF’s large shoes. I’m sure GF and his so-called top ministers have been planning all along what they will do and say when that time comes. –A. R.
Most of the leadership in all the splinter groups is filled with aging men and as more and more of them start dying off, the COG is guaranteed to become even more irrelevant.

It’s always amazed me how secret the PCG is compared to the other splinter groups. Their websites are configured to only let members read most of their articles, photos and videos. Removing smartphones also results in almost none of the members having active social media profiles. It just goes to show how much effort they put into creating their own world and blocking out the real one. None of my family still In the PCG told me this news. I had to learn through ESN. That’s a cult, folks.
I have a question. Will Flurrys new wife be kicked out of her home once flurry dies? After all she is not a minister, and the homes were built for the ministers.

Gerald Flurry told his followers at the start of his PCG cult that it was prophesied to do a “short work.” Gerald's early followers thought that at least they would not have to put up with very much for very long. Then Gerald became abusive, strung them along for many years, kept them in the dark, and fed them his very own “much new revelation” manure about how great “That Runt” and his plagiarized and revised “little book” supposedly were. This probably is not exactly what they were expecting at the start. Now Gerald's mushrooms are much older but no wiser.

Dave, Flurry and other ACOG splinter leaders are examples that people need to go "solo" if they wish to keep going forward in their Christian walk. Sub contracting one's thinking and mental diet to others always comes at a ridiculously high price. These groups mentally shrink their members in order to keep them docile and chained to their particular group. It's a Pharisaic survival strategy, and is definitely not the narrow gate. God blessing is absent in these groups.

If what is happening to Gerry, happened to you as a member, for example his leg problems that just won’t heal, now a fall out of the tub so he can’t deliver his message. You would be pounded by the ministry to look and figure out why you are so damn evil, and they as righteousness as they are would take that opportunity to tell you WHY you are so vile….because god is allowing you to suffer like this to correct you! Funny how this doesn’t apply to king $h!t of turd hill.

Is it possible that Flurry married a much younger woman to be a caretaker for him? Isn't this pretty much what HWA did? He has to follow in HWA's footsteps. GRF sure isn't following Christ!
Flurry married a "younger" woman who is a nurse so that he could receive in-home health care when he is bedridden. There is no way a prophet of God could ever go to a hospital and let unclean worldly nurses touch his sacred body or breathe the same air as unconverted heathens or worse yet, be taken care of by exPCG members who work in health care.
