Blest and Happy is The Man

This was one of my most despised songs out of the purple hymnal, that is, till now.  Check this out

Blest and Happy Is The Man

This would have been great to sing to in the Auditorium!

Check out Nathan Frampton's other music here:

Nathan's style lies somewhere between Metallica and Judas Priest- here's the proof:

A bit too rockin' for Christian radio, outside a Saturday night "edge" show and some "Christian rock" stations.

Probably too much even for GCI.

But overall, for lyrics: Nathan Frampton > Peter Frampton.

Here's another from the hymnal that I heard on the radio some years ago:

I was quite surprised as I listened to the lyrics and realized that I knew that song...lol

Do the Scientologists sing "MEST and Happy is the Man"?

(Matter, Energy, Space, and Time)

Best version of Blessed and Happy that I have ever heard. It kind of has that European symphonic metal sound to it. I would love to hear Marko Hietala from Nightwish sing this.

Remember this crap?
The hymn is word for word based on Psalm 1. So is Psalm 1 crap too NO2HWA ? The are no words in that hymn that's been added by Herbert Armstrong. So you cannot blame Herbert or Dwight Armstrong or Karen Armstrong for any of the words.

You are clearly stating, for all to read, that the core teachings of Psalm 1: an important life advice from God to be
"my most despised song of the purple hymnal" and "crap".

A beloved Psalm by all Christan denominations and Bible Scholars for centuries. Rich in meaning and depth on many different levels. And commonly known as the introductory gateway to the entire book of Psalms.

Perhaps the Psalms advice in life of not sitting in scorners seat triggers your hatred...perhaps the Psalms advice on being blessed and happy triggers you...only you know.

But it's a awful sign, a sign of the times.

“Blest and Happy is The Man”

The Worldwide Church of God version of this song is the one that I always sing whenever I am outside watering the cherry tree.

Psalm 1 (David Pack version)

BLEST AND HAPPY IS THE MAN

By The Well-Chewed Sheep (with some help from Dwight Armstrong)

1. Blest and happy is the man Who does not become Pack's prey
2. Never destitute he sits For he places his delight
3. He shall keep his hard-earned wealth, Safe from “common” theft and pride

1. Nor with that ungodly wolf Stands in sinner's way.
2. In mocking Packman all the time, Laughing day and night.
3. Of that wicked David Pack; Safe will his cash abide.

CHORUS

All he does prospers well, But the Packites are nutso;

They are chaff before Dave's wind, driven to and fro.

Psalm 1 (Gerald Flurry version)

BLEST AND HAPPY IS THE MAN

By The Well-Chewed Sheep (with some help from Dwight Armstrong)

1. Blest and happy is the man Who rejects the Flurry way
2. Never family wrecked he sits For he places his delight
3. His family will stay intact, Never split apart

1. Does not like perverted runts, Hates the lies they say.
2. In having sex with his own wife, Night after faithful night.
3. By the Devil's wicked runt, By Gerald's big mind fart.

CHORUS

All he does prospers well, But Flurryites are sickos;

They are always all screwed up, like a bunch of hoes.
