Dave Pack: "...is incapable of admitting fault in any sincere way without doubling up on excuses, deflection, and blame."

Un-Thankfully Dead

David C. Pack of The Restored Church of God passed a major hurdle this week. Ask yourself if it could possibly be just a coincidence.

Consider the odds of The Restored Church of God having a 24th Anniversary on Wednesday and that this self-described “important milestone” occurred in the 390th week of the Series, which also experienced a full moon, a moed, a chag, the writers’ strike, two second Passovers (one real, one imaginary), Cinco de Mayo, the release of Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3, a weekly Sabbath, King Charles III being crowned, the unsealing of Daniel, and Part 440 ending the Series unless we are still here. Could all of that just be a coincidence?

Time to shock you. No. It was not a coincidence.

It was less than a coincidence. It is a list of random items occurring in the same week that have nothing to do with each other and in no way point to a greater significance because only schizophrenics would think otherwise. No combination of variables will ever help make David C. Pack right.

“The Greatest Unending Story!” Series allegedly ended this week with Parts 439 and 440. If you believe that, I have a bridge in Brooklyn for sale.

But Dave sounded pretty confident. Most of the time.

Part 439 – May 2, 2023

@ 00:46 Daniel is now unsealed. Mostly because we found the Sixth Head. A lot of Daniel is about it. Chapters 10, 11, and 12 focus on it. And that had been throwing us off. And until you found this great first head, you certainly couldn’t say the Book of Daniel was unsealed.

According to the Bible, the unsealing of Daniel would be a sign of the end. But the visible shivers from the Main Hall audience were due to the frigid temperature, not the shock of prophetic fulfillment.

Flashback Part 211 – October 24, 2019

@ 1:05:27 Now, for a truly astounding discovery in one verse. Wow, this one will close out all questions about what this Fire is about…So today and not before today…is Daniel fully unsealed.

Flashback Part 273 – December 12, 2020

@ 3:00:33 One thing, time is running out…Daniel was unsealed. I finally understood every element of Daniel this week.

Flashback Part 278 – January 7, 2021

@ 53:42 It’s inarguable...That is truly the last jot and tittle of Daniel being unsealed.

Flashback Part 284 – January 28, 2021

@ 2:08:00 Anybody who thinks we’re gonna go another thirteen months in this needs to find some other book to study ‘cause there’s no way. There’s no way. So, as of Monday night, the best I can see, Daniel was unsealed…You think it’s a coincidence mid-Shevat? That vision? Jeremiah saw that vision on the middle day of Shevat. It’s today. Unbelievable. The Series ends today.

Part 396 – October 1, 2022

@ 1:48:04 We are not seeking the 1335. A hundred billion people will be…And until that’s clear, Daniel isn’t completely unsealed. You gotta get that straight.

David C. Pack Unseals Daniel™

Five-Years Running

2019  2020  2021  2022  2023

Only fools believe David C. Pack and do so to their own shame.

Revisiting the recent past helps frame the present to anticipate the future.

Flashback Part 438 – April 27, 2023

@ 1:07:23 If your relatives are dead, thank God every day that your relatives are dead…everybody who’s shot and killed in this world right now…drop to your knees and thank God they were killed.

Listening to and believing David C. Pack is now a requirement for salvation. That puts pressure on the brethren. This means at least some in RCG followed his command. We could all hope that none did, but since critical thinking and rational thought are fled away, the best outcome would be very few took him seriously. But even one is too many.

Those same people who thanked God for murder must have been mortified and ashamed when they learned five days later during Part 439 that this was a “misunderstood” element of God’s plan.

As it turns out, 5.2 billion people, including unconverted family and friends, will no longer die the second death in August. This was just another understandable mistake from the Pastor General.

This is a profoundly substantial change that affects the brethren directly. In David C. Pack’s typical cowardly fashion, he chose not to lead with this nor make it too plain. He let members stew on that understanding for another forty minutes until he was ready to draw out piecemeal excuses.

The villainy of David C. Pack is not from what he taught from the Bible or how he taught it. The indifferent wickedness comes from the injection of personal attitudes that do not originate from the Holy Spirit or the examples of Jesus Christ. Being thankful for murder is not of God. Satan is thankful for murder.

How many RCG mothers lost sleep worrying about their unbelieving children during the five nights before this message? How many brethren watched their spouse quietly tormented over the idea of them being slaughtered in the next four months?

Dave is guilty, and he knows he is guilty. The meandering roundabout is filled with his “tells.” It would be fascinating for a mental clinician to analyze him.

Dave spends 42 minutes in Part 439 dismantling Part 438. Half of the entire Series is just Dave reversing the other half. This is a prime example.

Part 439 – May 2, 2023

@ 40:12 One of the greatest things I discovered in the last few days because there was some things that just bothered me terribly about the outcome for some people here [shot glass]. I had to start looking. And I foundthat vastly more people enter the Family of God under the God who says, "I'm not willing that any should perish, and I would have all men to be saved.” I learned more about that God in the last few days than maybe in the time God called me. The numbers who make it are way bigger than WE thought. And I wanna correct that today.

Tell: “bothered me terribly”

The uncomfortable feeling is back. He is just like the brethren because he was equally disturbed by what they heard. He is on their side. This is psychological manipulation. He endears himself to them to soften the blame to come.

Tell: “I had to start looking”

The facts were so hard to hear that he went above and beyond by getting clarification to prove all things.

Tell: “I learned more about God”

He is learning alongside the brethren and is not to blame. There is a bright side to falsely proclaiming the final death of 5.2 billion people because Dave better understood God. “All things work for good,” as some like to misquote.

Tell: “than WE thought”

He is along for the ride on the same bus the brethren are. Dave does not conjure these ideas on his own. The entire Headquarters ministry shares the responsibility for what is fed to the sheep.

Tell: “I wanna correct”

He did not get it wrong. He is simply correcting a teaching that bothered him, so he went investigating. In doing so, it brought him closer to God because the church collectively misunderstood what is now understood as God always intended. As the leader of the church, he wants to fix it.

Flashback Part 438 – April 27, 2023

@ 1:04:11 So, let’s just say this plainly…two-thirds of eight billion people alive today will be destroyed forever. They will be burned in the second death…there’s no arguing with that.

David C. Pack argues that during Part 439, for half of the duration. He begins with a winding road of statistics and verses about children that tugs on the heartstrings to soften the audience.

Part 439 – May 2, 2023

@ 45:30 Half made it. There’s no other math. It’s half made it of this generation. That’s the first piece of wonderful good news here [shot glass]. Half made it. The children weren’t in play.

Five days earlier, Dave taught about a god that kills billions of children too young to be baptized but old enough to be destroyed forever. That flip-flop sounds a little more grand than “something we missed.”

@ 46:50 But now we gotta find out (in a minute) whether or not the people who died here [shot glass] really did get wiped out the way so many verses seemed to say.

Tell: “verses seemed to say”

When it suits his need, “the Bible is hard” excuse comes into play. God's word tricked him. This is the problem with non-spirit-led inspired preaching. Private interpretation runs amuck.

@ 47:00 Right up until I found key verses, I had never seen.

I laughed out loud. Verses he had never seen? Yet, he found them? Are you kidding, Dave?

Flashback Part 402 – October 25, 2022

@ 1:29:01 But, I know the Bible pretty well…I can practically recite the Book of Revelation and whole swaths of the prophets in my sleep. But I don't even have to be awake, and I know them. I can just do that.

Flashback Part 3 – November 28, 2015

@ 48:40 I’ve been studying God’s word for almost 50 years. And I’ve studied prophecy (I know this) like no man who’s ever lived.

Flashback Part 180 – June 16, 2019

@ 1:17:17 These are mysteries. Nobody understood any of this…I mean, I feel like I could write a new King James Bible better…

It is hard to believe this is the same guy. Oh, how the mighty have fallen.

Tell “verses I had never seen”

It is hard to know whether this is a self-insulating delusion or an intentional lie. You cannot be sure with Dave. If pets were allowed at Headquarters, he could claim the dog ate that page of his Bible.

Tell “I found key verses”

Look at how his efforts pay off. WE thought, but I found. He was not concerned with giving God any credit for the discovery that changed everything about the Kingdom plan that spared 5.2 billion people from eternal death. The work of one man did that.

How exactly did he find the key verses? The naked Bible elves snuck into Dave’s bedroom in the middle of the night to leave new shoes on the bench and then sprinkled a few new verses into his Bible on the way out the window.

While in the midst of reversing his grievous error, Dave could not help but get defensive about anticipated enemies throwing rotten cabbage at his face.

@ 47:10 Now, the mockers might say, “This is taking too long.” And dudn’t look like it ends well for them. Permanently. There are people who fall and never rise again. They’re cut through to the head. They’re just committed idolaters...they die root and branch. You know that. Haters of the Lord.

David C. Pack is warning the members of RCG here. He ties it into prophecy a sentence later, but his original target is everyone looking right at him. His point is loud and clear:

Mock me, and you will die forever.

This is a self-preservation kneejerk reaction he cannot contain. How prickly does one have to be to remind people about eternal damnation while defending himself against potential critics?

David C. Pack:

Supremely Arrogant. Supremely Insecure.™

As with many things Dave, “taking too long” is not the issue. “Getting it right” is. Which he cannot seem to do. Nor will he ever be able to do. The man is permanently disqualified.

@ 50:50 Now, I’ve wrestled terribly. Terribly. I mean, I'm a shepherd. The hardest thing I had to deal with, and I ‘pologize (in a way) because I’ve been gone different places that there’re so many verses that talk about God’s wrath on certain people. They fall and never rise again.

Tell: “I ‘pologize in a way”

Therapists and body language experts would have a better analysis when someone cannot say an entire word as a defense mechanism. The fact Dave could not bring himself to clearly say “apologize” is significant when you compound it with the defusing qualifier “in a way.”

There is also a notable pause between “I” and “’pologize” as if to subconsciously create separation. The looking down. The fiddling. The quiet hesitation. This indicates that this is neither a sincere apology nor even considered a complete one from the mouth that spoke it.

After teaching members of RCG wrongly that 5.2 billion people will die forever in August and their own family and friends may fall victim to this, this is as remorseful as the man can be. I hope the brethren still attending The Restored Church of God noticed this.

David C. Pack shows people who and what he is.

This ‘pology with excuses is followed by a quick reminder of who should be feared.

@ 51:08 Acts 3:23, you know. Those who refuse to obey {me} Elijah are destroyed from among the people. They’re destroyed…it looks conclusive. And for some, it is.

Refuse to obey David C. Pack, and you will be destroyed forever. It is a point worth making twice.

Dave manages to squeak out another admission.

@ 1:12:34 So, I had that wrong.

This is a big step out into the light for him. “I,” not “we.” “Wrong,” not “misunderstood.” This is the bare minimum unworthy of a gold star on his chart.

It is unwise to present drastic, sweeping changes as drastic, sweeping changes. Nudge. Sprinkle. Meander. Drop a hint. Nudge. Sprinkle. Meander. Drop a hint. After a half-hour of warm-up, he was limber enough to cut loose.

@ 1:13:20 If your children hafta go through certain in things, well then, then they do. But they're not out of God's great salvation game. If you wanna put it that way.

Finally. 33 minutes into his doctrinal reconstruction, Dave acknowledges that the brethren have a personal stake in this understanding. The only thing I can think of as to why he did not lead with that 73 minutes ago is that it would have made him look bad. He had to ease the brethren into reversing his errors they had believed five days before.

During Part 439, David C. Pack eventually defused the panic some members had over losing their loved ones to eternal death in a few months. Showing what kind of heart this shepherd has, he humbled himself in front of the whole church.

I ‘pologize in a way. So, I had that wrong.

That is the extent of his contrition.

David C. Pack, the Pastor General of The Restored Church of God, is uninterested and incapable of coming close to perceiving this concept:

Brethren, I am so very sorry for putting some of you through an emotional rollercoaster the past five days. I over-read and misapplied verses to mean what they never said. I needlessly troubled you, and I apologize. I can understand that it must have been a sore trial as you considered the horrific fate of your family. I deeply regret the heartache and turmoil I am directly responsible for. Please forgive me for filtering God’s pure word through my corrupted lens of private interpretation. Once again, my arrogance has gotten the better of me. And it hurt you in the process. That is all on me.

Please also forgive me for instructing you to get on your knees before God to thank Him for the murder of others. That is far removed from what the Bible and our Savior Jesus Christ instruct. I am deeply ashamed of the foolish words I spoke, disregarding how they may affect you. And a very special "I'm sorry" to those in RCG who have recently lost someone close. I did not consider for a single moment how my ignorant ranting might compound your grief by telling you to be thankful for their passing.

To think I said all of these things while speaking on God’s authority and in His Name fills me with such a tremendous shame that I cannot bear to look any of you in the eye.

I will never do any of that ever again. You have my solemn promise as a man. I hope that as your Pastor General if I ever violate any of my promises to you before God, I will be held accountable for every word that falls from my mouth. The men around me have a duty to address this because God is their ultimate authority, not me. As brethren, God also empowers you to take action against false teachers in your midst.

If I have lost your confidence in me and proven myself to be a blaspheming liar, all of you have a biblical responsibility to treat me as such. I am sorry. Please forgive me.

David C. Pack will never utter such words. It is not in his nature to have empathy. It is not in his nature to humble himself before others. He is incapable of admitting fault in any sincere way without doubling up on excuses, deflection, and blame.

That is the Pastor General of The Restored Church of God.

It is now okay to go back to not being thankful for death and murder.

PCG: Its Magical God Was Busy Working Overtime In Canada On NTBMO

One thing that the more extreme aberrant groups of the Church of God instill in members is that they under no circumstance cannot attend a church-related event, even if they are putting their life in jeopardy in doing so. God expects them to be present for all church events. Instilled with the belief that if they do not attend a function then they are telling God they have no faith, they will then put their own lives and thier families at risk in order to make themselves look good in the leadership's eyes. Of course, when members put their lives at risk and survive it is further proof that God is exclusively on their side.

Check out this jibberish from the Philadelphia Church of God.

CANADA—By Abraham Blondeau On April 5, the capital region of Ontario and Quebec was hit with a downpour of freezing rain. Over several hours, two inches of sleet froze on impact, encasing power lines, trees and roads in a layer of ice just as Philadelphia Church of God members were beginning to gather and observe the spring holy days.

Members would be keeping the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread at the same venue where we had kept the Passover service in Cornwall, Ontario. I was staying at the hotel in Cornwall with my family when the freezing rain hit. While running errands the roads didn’t seem too slippery, and I forgot to fill up on gas.

We planned to keep the Night to Be Much Observed with the Montreal brethren at a restaurant in the city of Montreal, a 90-minute drive. While getting ready, the power went out in Cornwall and was still out when we left. Fallen tree branches blocked roads, and some streets were nearly flooded. The traffic lights flashed red. Trees on the side of the road shuddered under the ice. Some snapped and fell over as we drove past. Cars were abandoned on the side of the road. Gas stations were vacant and dark. I calculated that I had enough in the gas tank for less than 7 miles more than the distance to the restaurant.

Magincal God is soon asked to kick into gear and find a gas station because the minister was too stupid to fill up beforehand.

As we entered Montreal, the city was dark. Parking lots were deserted and street lights off. Before leaving, we had prayed as a family that God would help us find a gas station along the way. With 18.6 miles left in the tank, we came across a gas station teeming with people who had been in the same predicament as us.

Magical God delivers! Woo Hoo! Apparently, this PCG minister wasn't the only fool ignoring the warnings.

The city block where we gathered for dinner was unaffected by the power outages. I checked the Hydro Quebec outages map, and it became clear that God performed a miracle. The green dot on the map is the restaurant where we met, and the red patches indicate where power was out. All around, the restaurants, businesses and homes were without power, but we were able to celebrate the Night to Be Much Observed because God had caused the power outages to “pass over” His people.
Over 1 million people in Quebec and Ontario were without power for more than a day. In Cornwall, where we kept the first day of Unleavened Bread the following morning, power was restored to the hotel at midnight. Cornwall has its own hydro-electric dam, which allowed service to be restored much more quickly than in other areas.

Magical God chose one restaurant in Quebec to leave the power on while all surrounding buildings and areas were without power. Woo Hoo! Never once does this inept minister consider that the workers in this place risked their lives to be there because these foolish PCG members still expected to eat. After all, keeping a man-made observance was more important than worrying about restaurant employees' ability to get home as they worried about their own families.

The Hydro Ontario outages map shows that the worst of the power outages were concentrated where brethren lived. Brethren observing the Night to Be in their homes around the Ottawa area persevered through the weather and power outages. Two groups had dinner by candle light. Another family had to weave around fallen trees on its way to a member’s home. While driving back, the father decided to take the side roads instead of the highway. Only a few minutes after making that decision, an entire wheel of the car came off, becoming lodged under the bumper. The nuts holding the tire had been stripped, an event that could have been catastrophic if they had been driving on the highway at high speeds.

These miracles illustrated for us that God delivers His people (Psalm 18:2; Hebrews 13:5). When we step out on faith and put our trust in our spiritual Father, there is nothing that can stop His people from moving forward. Whether it is wildfires around headquarters or ice storms in Canada, God performs miracles on behalf of His people.

A reader on Exit and Support Network had this to say about the absurdities above:

All that happened on that day just shows how foolish and reckless members can be and the ministers never rebuked them for heading out in such dangerous conditions. You can be sure they would have been rebuked if they didn’t observe it.

Littlest Prophet and Chief Overseer Still Cannot Control His African Members From Running For Political Office

Poor little guy! His African leaders are making a mockery of the greatest COG prophet to ever lead a COG. No matter what he tells his leaders there they do what they want to do. Impotent and confined to his little town in California hiding behind his little storefront, this great leader cannot gain the respect he thinks he deserves, whether it is in the COG at large or from his followers in Africa.

The Apostle Paul wrote:

1 Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. (1 Timothy 2:1-4)

Brethren, in many places, we hear of leaders that campaign for offices. Our focus is not to be that, but we are to pray for our leaders, essentially so the work of God will not be hindered. Prayer, not politics, is what we should be involved in.

Restored Church of God: There is no warmth of life in this cadaver. And it has already begun to stink.

A Morgue

David C. Pack was forced to give two messages back-to-back this week because some faithless members were weary of being eunuchs. “The Greatest Untold Story! (Part 439)” was given on May 2, 2023. Part 440 on May 3. That was not his plan, and Dave let us know it.

Those in RCG who only listen to Parts 439 and 440 will be in the dark about what their Pastor General is changing. Compounded by confusing pronouns, you will be lost if you do not observe him carefully on video. You can never be sure which Kingdom he is talking about unless you follow the dancing finger.

Some elements of these articles will be interwoven between both Parts because some content was presented that way. A quick summary for the short-attention folks is in order.

•  WE Misunderstood Some Things

•  Pointing—This Is The Way

•  Jesus Christ Returns On Second Passover—MAYBE

•  No Crown For King Charles III—MAYBE

•  A Pentecost Kingdom Start—No More

•  Permanent Death For 5.2 Billion People—No More

•  RCG’s Growth Rate—Flat

•  The Series Is Over

•  Daniel Is Unsealed

•  If We Are Still Here…

The second Passover, as the Bible and Church Administration instructed, has already lapsed. That was Thursday evening until sunset last night. David C. Pack’s counterfeit second Passover started last night and ends tonight at 8:28 PM ET.

The Bible is clear that Iyar 14 is the correct date. A false teacher’s version is Iyar 15. The center of the full moon occurred in the afternoon of Iyar 14. How the Bible and the lunar cycle both expose David C. Pack as a biblical fraud is just a fantastic coincidence.

See, Dave? Even the moon calls you a liar. Some commenters call him “the Liar of Iyar.”

Remembering the past helps frame the present and anticipate the future. This is a lesson David C. Pack seems blind to and doomed to never grasp.

King Charles III was crowned this morning, causing some red faces in Wadsworth.

David C. Pack proved to his audience at the Feast of Tabernacles that every word he speaks falls to the ground and returns to him void.

Flashback Part 399 – October 15, 2022

@ 19:22 …and Christ is gonna come before that man wears the crown.

Flashback Part 435 – April 15, 2023

@ 33:05 King Charles is supposta be coronated within hours. It will be the most-watched event in the history of the world, and…it’s gonna get chopped short right before he ever puts a crown on. You can’t make that up…which is the 6th of May. Which, of course, is the 15th of Iyar, and he would never be crowned.

David C. Pack has no idea what he is talking about. Believe him to your own shame.

Parts 439 and 440 this week were a challenging climb and not for the faint of heart.

Part 439 – May 2, 2023

00:07 Again, Good afternoon. Gonna have messages back-to-back because a lot of the folks who are on staff are going to the Poconos singles activity.

It will be interesting to see the pictures of this event on social media. More tables of smiling people who cannot date each other due to age differences or being the wrong race. Having “too many” divorces even before baptism is also a restricting factor, but those folks are not allowed to attend.

One thing those single people have in common this weekend is how faithless they all are. They did not really believe David C. Pack. They never believed the second Passover would be fulfilled as their Pastor General taught. Even though he walked it back, he renewed it again with a solid MAYBE this week.

If Jesus Christ will return "some time" before Trumpets, why bother to start dating when there is not enough time to get married? (Well, unless you are a Headquarters minister.) And why would Church Administration schedule such a defiant event?

The answer: Nobody in RCG takes David C. Pack seriously. They just fake that they do.

The minority All-Believing Zealots are the exception. Trust me, nobody wants to date them.

The like-minded Poconos singles will be able to share their collective disbelief in the doctrines of the Pastor General. This will make an excellent conversation ice-breaker.

“So, when did you stop believing Mr. Pack?

For me, it was the Night Watch of 2019.

How about you?”

If the singles thought Dave was done sideways blaming them for forcing him to speak two days in a row, then they do not know him. During an Excuse Parade of Part 440, he brought the event up again while encapsulating a date-suggestion because date-setting is no longer his job. “Maybe” is his new security blanket.

Part 440 – May 3, 2023

@ 37:37 And I may be reading it wrong. There may be something I’m missing. But I just felt I thought about this for a long time. Do I bring this up? Raise everybody’s hopes? We all know we’re getting close. But, the last days of my voice would be yesterday and today. Rushing to get this out. There was a schedule kinda was thrown at me a little differently with this trip to the Poconos. The singles, and so forth. That's fine. But, the point is here we are, and the Series is just tapping us a hint, and then we're supposta wait a tiny, tiny micron or call it a maha. Or {I’m} he’s about to. Or {I’m} he's prepared the way. Are we looking at, you know, Christ is coming on a moed. Well, that’s a Sabbath. And it’s a full moon. And it’s the start of the second Passover. And we’re this church is twenty-four years old to the day. And the important number 390, which maybe I’ll get to if we're here on Friday, and this isn't right.

If we are here on Friday? Notice how he sets a date without setting a date. Dave has to rely on wordplay. Also, notice he still contends the second Passover is Friday to Saturday. But, if anyone believes what the Bible says (and Dr. Ranney, I included you in on this), they would agree the second Passover ENDED at sunset Friday night. It did NOT begin on the Sabbath.

Iyar 15 is a counterfeit second Passover taught by a counterfeit apostle.

“Number 390” must be a new unexplained pointless fixation. It is a recent secret he unlocked staring at the bowl of water late into the night that means something to only him and the others in the Packian Triad of Fraud that breathe too much of those fumes coming from the cauldron in the Third Floor Executive Imaginarium.

@ 38:39 …'cause the Series is 390 weeks. And I just tried to wonder, "Wow, that's a lot." Is it possible that that, coupled with the crown coming off that this is the day we’ve been waiting for? And the answer (honestly, brethren) is maybe. I’m not setting dates anymore. I’m just not doing it. It’s not the thing I sh–I’m here to do. My job is to explain what’s gonna happen.

The “sh" was Dave catching himself, almost verbally acknowledging, "It's not the thing I SHOULD be doing." He almost said it because, deep down, he knew that was true. There is a lot David C. Pack should not be doing, but he does anyway. He is not entirely unaware. His slip-up exposed that.

Part 439 – May 2, 2023

00:07 Again, Good afternoon. Gonna have messages back-to-back because a lot of the folks who are on staff are going to the Poconos singles activity. So, it’d be a morgue. I was gonna go Tuesday and Thursday, but I wanna try to finish this whole thing up in two more messages.

Morgue is an adept word choice. Not only is it spot-on for the state of brethren in The Restored Church of God, but more appropriately, of those at Headquarters.

The truth has a toe tag. Critical thinking is cold on the slab. Hearts and minds have been removed, resting in a jar on the shelf. There is no warmth of life in this cadaver. And it has already begun to stink.

Hirelings have stripped the corpse of clothes and jewelry. The Pastor General uses pliers to extract gold teeth. The brethren are left as hollow, empty husks to be dumped in the dirt and left to rot.

Some bodies have gone missing. Those that choose to stay in their frigid confinement lay down with eyes closed, mouths shut, minds quiet, and motionless in the dark silence. What remains in RCG are only the remains.

Wow. This is The Restored Church of God.

As a bonus for those who would not know, the Main Hall is kept unreasonably cold during Dave's messages. The ladies wear shawls and wrap in blankets, while some men wear gloves. The African-origin members have the toughest time. After Salasi Jezhi and his charming wife leave, ask for his honest thoughts on how pleasant it is to freeze for two hours three times a week.

On a Sabbath at Headquarters, around ninety people suffer for the comfort of just one man. That is outgoing love and concern exemplified. I used to refer to it as the Meat Locker, but Dave brilliantly coined it better with “morgue.” It fits perfectly.

The Restored Church of God

A Morgue For The Truth.™

Dave rushed out two messages instead of pacing them because the Main Hall would have fewer eyes transfixed on his magnificence. Those pesky single folks desiring a warmer bed really inconvenienced him. I am surprised he did not forbid it or ridicule their lack of fearing God.

One of my trusted Consulting Former Ministers noted that Dave’s ego cannot tolerate speaking to a nearly empty room. He craves the adoration of a full audience, so waiting until many people were traveling was unacceptable. Ego trumps preparation. Every time.

Part 440 was pushed out ahead of schedule, and man, you can tell. There is a wishy-washy hesitation and confusing delivery, screaming that the content was not baked thoroughly. Dave needed more time to polish his final malarkey dump. Those singles totally boned him.

Dave must also be in desperate need of sleep because he is woefully unclear. The author of confusion is really getting his money’s worth at the Wadsworth franchise.

Part 440 – May 3, 2023

@ 19:11 Christ’s Kingdom is the 1-Year Kingdom. I wanted to just talk about that because it leads to a fascinating situation. I want you to turn over to Zechariah 6. I promised that we would come back to this and that we would need to come back to it, and I wanna talk about it because it looks like it’s Christ’s Kingdom. Zechariah 6. And it’s not His Kingdom.

For those only listening once, Dave was making a colossal change to the plan of God. But those watching later learn what “it” really was. Understanding Dave requires multiple replays to catch on. He was referring to the events of Zechariah 6. Not the 1-Year Kingdom at the introduction.

The guy allegedly commissioned to “make it plain” works his darnedest to prove otherwise. Keep your eyes on his pointing hands as if he were a pickpocket, or the wallet of your understanding will vanish.

@ 24:50 This cannot be His Kingdom.

That is so funny because if you listen to the eleven-minute section, it sounds like he is making a compelling case for why it IS His Kingdom.

Brethren watched him strain logic in real-time, and I got the sense he realized his perspective was faulty as the words spilled from his mouth.

@ 25:25 That’s important. When Christ comes, it says in Luke He gives {me} Elijah and the little flock all that He has. Well, He has it. So, I wanted to sort of conclude this one part.

I have reviewed this section at least five times. Christ is a king on His throne, wearing His crown. He "has" the Kingdom. If Jesus Christ has the authority to give something, it belongs to Him. It is His Kingdom. Therefore it can be called Christ's Kingdom. Since He is God, it would make His Kingdom the Kingdom of God. Right?

But not according to Dave. He repeats this is not Christ’s Kingdom but sounds more uncertain than he did at the start. He continues to prove how unsure he is by kneecapping his own argument.

@ 27:06 “Oh, but it’s not His Kingdom.” In a way, it is, and in a way it isn't. That's partly why it's called the Kingdom of Heaven and partly why it's so difficult to understand.

Throw the Kingdom of Heaven is NOT the Kingdom of God into the mix.

There are some topics Dave should not teach until he is more fully prepared. His not-thought-through teaching about the First Kingdom to Israel not being Christ’s Kingdom was not ready for primetime.

He actually proves the opposite as he goes along. Remember, he said, "It is NOT Christ's Kingdom," but admits it “partly” is. Is it Kingdom-lite, Dave?

The cracks in his convictions become evident with his tone, stumbling, mumbling, unfinished sentences, dropping parts of words, and sharp pivots. If I were a betting man, I would say that Dave will spend the majority of Part 441 undoing significant portions of Part 440. It will also give him another opportunity to throw the Poconos singles under the bus for pushing him too soon.

@ 27:18 The most technical correct way is the Kingdom of God over Israel. Or the Kingdom of the Lord Over Israel.

Well, which is it? It is absolutely NOT the Kingdom of God, even though he just called it the Kingdom of God over Israel? Wow, Dave is waffling.

As one who has closely studied Dave over the past year, I surmise this teaching will not live long. Too often on this topic, and during this Part, he ran out of gas before drawing a solid conclusion or making a definitive point. He got shouty at times, but not with crucial conclusions as is his custom.

Nope. This whole idea will be abandoned. Copy and paste this for when it does.

@ 1:28:21 So, we’ll conclude by saying there will maybe be more on Sabbath if we’re here. And maybe not, even if we’re here. I’m gonna wait and see. Good night, everyone.

The ambiguity of that statement makes it utterly pointless. That is the best way to end “The Greatest Untold Story!” Series that will soon prove to be Unending with Part 441 a guarantee.

Unclear and uncertain. It is over, but it is not over. We will be here, but we will not be here.

The Restored Church of God is a morgue for understanding and critical thinking.

“Making it plain” in a way that matters has ceased functioning. Brotherly love waxed cold long ago. Wretched teachings are bloated and oozing. A boney finger tells the story better than the lying lips guiding it. Hope is locked away in a refrigerated box to prolong the inevitable decay.

Believing the Bible has been incinerated. The truth has been contaminated and wrapped in plastic for proper disposal. The word of God has been butchered. The name of God has been dragged through the filth.

Staying in The Restored Church of God is fellowship inside a morgue.

COGWA's Dave Myers Talks About How Heavy His Shepherds Mantle Is When He Has To Disfellowship Members And Then Watch Them Get On Social Media And Tell THEIR Side Of The Story.

"Well, lately it's been the ministry who has split the flock and sowed discord.
They have also stepped outside doctrine and made decisions about people's individual choices
and made them feel guilty for their own lives." (one reaction to Dave's post below)

One of the sad characteristics of many fundamentalists who claim "we are the only truth" and exclusionary sects in this country is its weaponized system of disfellowshipping and marking members who they deem as unable to fit the expectations of the sect. It is a powerful tool to keep members in line and living in a constant state of fear. In Armstrongism these actions meant an immediate loss of salvation and exclusion from the place of safety.

For many, this was a spiritually damaging event in their lives and drove them completely away from God, something the church claimed it was not meant to do. The pain it caused was not only with the person/persons involved but with family and dear friends - or at least people you thought were friends.

Sadly in the Church of God movement many pastors and church leaders took great delight in publicly shaming members. Sure they put on a great face in front of the members on how this was painful for them to do, but was necessary. Once they kicked people out, no contact was ever made with them again. If a member decided to come back they had to come back groveling on their own begging for mercy from God's right-hand man.

The other day, Dave Myers from Church of God a Worldwide Association decided to talk about how painful this was for pastors in COGWA. The crap quickly hit the fan, something he was not expecting, and as usual in the COG, immediately blamed everyone else for their response.

What really rang his bell was that people do not take too kindly to this kind of false "love" and reacted on social media about it. How dare they! How dare they tell THEIR side of the story. Something that no disfellowshiped member of the COG movement has ever been able to do. Of course, these deceived sheep are telling their story from a personal slant and most of the time completely inaccurate. They are liars as no COG minister is capable of telling a falsehood or give out inaccurate information.

Any time a pastor has to ask a person not to fellowship with the flock due to such things as doctrinal disagreement, causing division, derogatory accusations, or the like, it is a sad and heartrending time for that pastor (and many others). He hopes and prays with all his heart that the person will come to see themselves accurately and be able to change their way. His action is done out of love to spur the person to deeply examine themselves and help them to change. The mantle of shepherding in these instances is quite heavy and frankly, unpleasant. If the person does not accept this loving correction, sadly, social media provides a platform for the supposed 'offended' to tell their story widely - from their perspective - which is usually found to be quite 'slanted' and often just plain inaccurate. Good-hearted people can read these 'posts-of-the-offended' and be misled as to what actually went on. Some might think, "If their post doesn't reflect what really has happened, the pastor would defend his action by posting the truth, wouldn't he?" But consider this: I, for one, am thankful that the 'church' does not post its 'side' of the story revealing all the details as to why this painful action has had to be taken. Love and respect for the person being 'disciplined' means that the 'church' would not reveal their personal problems or lay out all the ugly details that led to this necessary action. We all know that the scripture teaches "Hatred stirs up strife, But love covers all sins" (Proverbs 10:12) and "He who covers a transgression seeks love, But he who repeats a matter separates friends" (Proverbs 17:9). So you will not read the pastor's 'rebuttal' because he loves the person and does not wish to 'air their dirty laundry.' So, a pastor does not post on social media, but rather, prays that the 'offended' comes to his senses and is able to repent. I hope this small window into the shepherd's mantle of responsibility is helpful.

Dave's response to people's responses:

David J. Myers May 4 at 10:52 AM

As if often the case with social media, it can easily devolve into squabbles between people who use the platform to proclaim their particular opinions, complaints, and troubles. Since this has become the case with my most recent post, I have decided to delete it and try to follow the admonition found in 1 Timothy 1:3-7. Warm regards
