Crackpot Blowhard Prophet Is Now The New Indiana Jones Of The COG

Why is it that the Church of God, Armstrongist movement, is filled with so many self-appointed blowhards who think they have a divine right set before them to do miraculous things, like discover the lost Ark of the Covenant?

Gerald Flurry thinks it is his divine right to discover it. He is so sure it is in Hill Tara in Ireland and that's one of the reasons he bought an estate in England in order to be closer to Ireland when they think God and Ireland are going to allow them to dig it up. This was supposed to happen about the same time that Scotland was going to give Flurry the Stone of Scone. Then, realizing how incredibly STUPID this idea was, he went to Oregon and dug up an old rock and proclaimed it the new Coronation Stone that his creature is coming back to be crowned king of kings. The sheer stupidity in the Church of God is endless!

Frustrated that all the good ideas have already been taken up by other COG leaders, the Great Bwana Mzungu of Africa decided that he is better than all the other COG leaders and that HE and HE ALONE will be sent to restore the Ark of the Covenant to its rightful place in Armstrongism where it will be placed respectfully higher than Jesus and worshiped and adored. After all, it has the law inside (supposedly) and the law reigns supreme in Armstrongism as the great savior of humanity. Jesus be damnd! Give me that old law, like my grandpappy had, and his grandpappy, and his grandpappy.

One of the more ludicrous things the Great Bwana Mzungu believes is that God has been channeling dreams to himself and a few of his psychotic associates. Those dreams always involve the Great Bwana Mzungu doing amazing things that even God is surprised at.

Here is the official crackpot prophet of the Church of God, Armstrongist movement telling us about the dreams he has had about the Ark of the Covenant. The bullshit is deep in this...especially how some. oand Rabbi walks up to the Greatest COG prophet in human history and invites him to helo find the ark.

Back in October 2013, while attempting to take some photos and to video some of the remains of the Church of God on Jerusalem’s Western Hill, I was approached by a Jewish rabbi named Avraham Goldstein of the Diaspora Yeshiva. He asked why I was there, so I explained it. He then asked me if the Continuing Church of God would like to be involved in an archaeological project related to that general area. He mentioned doing excavations related to what some believe is David’s tomb, located below. Many consider that only a legend and not the real location–though the actual location of David’s tomb has not been verified in many centuries. However a Jewish rabbi who claimed to visit it in 1163 A.D. stated it was below this particular Mt. Zion.

Avraham Goldstein also believes that the ark of the covenant may be directly below or near it via tunnels. He offered to take me below in the tunnels on my next visit to Jerusalem. I told him that I was interested, but I have not been to Israel since. Yet, I expect to go again within the next several years.

The Great Bwana continues:

The following is an interview from a narrator named Joseph (J below) and the Jewish rabbi Gerald Goldstein of the Mount Zion Foundation (RGbelow).

RG: We are standing on the roof of King David’s Tomb. Look around you at the view. You can understand why David wanted to take out this fortress before attacking Jerusalem itself…Samuel 2…Scripture is also very clear about where Kind David brought the Holy Ark of the Covenant. It says here in chapter 6 that he brought the Ark of the Covenant up to the City of David, that is the fortress of Zion…here to this very place… MOUNT ZION, dancing all in a very ecstatic and wonderful way…

J: So this place really is Mt Zion!

RG: Well there is a real established tradition, first recorded in writing by a student of the Ramban over 800 years ago, which says exactly this. Prior to the building of the Temple, Mt Zion… this very Mt Zion where we are standing…is where the Ark of the Covenant and the Divine presence resided. (Glick N. The Authenticity of Mt Zion and King David’s Tomb. 2010 יום שני, 2 באוגוסט. http://rabbinathanglick.blogspot.com/2010/08/authenticity-of-mt-zion-and-king-davids.html viewed 11/17/13)

If the ark of the covenant is now below the Church of God on Jerusalem’s Western Hill, known as Mt. Zion, that would have ramifications for the world as well as the Continuing Church of God.

Now enter some more crazies into the picture. The Prince of the Power of Air has been broadcasting around the world and found fertile ground in the imagination of some devotees of the Great Bwana Mzungu.

Unbeknownst to me until late September 2013, a woman named Fesilafai Fiso Leaana of New Zealand had a dream after going to bed on December 8, 2012. Here is a report that Fesilafai Fiso Leaana wrote about her dream:

A few months before my dream, my husband and I noticed a contradiction in practice, regarding the sabbath commandment in LCG, from there we started to pray continuously for God to lead us to where the truth is. It seems God has answered our prayers through the dream.

The dream began with myself and approximately 70 New Zealand Living Church of God brethren, then suddenly LCG vanished (I was wondering where is LCG?) and I was left standing with approximately 10 people excluding myself, on a very high building. We were standing on the very top of the building, where I couldn’t see the bottom, there were no other buildings, just this building. I could not see the bottom of the building but just clouds below the building and clouds surrounding the building which led to a beautiful white mountain – a mountain that had no ends on either side. The building was pretty close to the mountain, I could see the top of the mountain. The mountain was all white and so beautiful. I remember that I began to be filled with joy and peace. But also wondering how we got up on this building and confused why there were no other buildings but the clouds seemed like it was hiding the building and I felt protected or it felt like a safe place. I looked around there were still only about ten people there, the only person I could clearly recognize was Shirley constantly working, the approximate ten others were just sitting and standing around. So I walked around the building looking for the large crowd from LCG, but all I kept returning to was that Shirley was working and doing different types of work alone while the others were still sitting and standing around the building with me. I wondered why she was working a lot. I could not find LCG.

Someone needs to find out what edibles this woman was eating! Holy crap!

Then suddenly a message came to my mind: “There is a secret in the mountain”. And I was so happy to know that, I was still feeling elated and could still see the beautiful white mountain and wondered about the secret. Then I asked: “What is the secret?” Then the message said, nobody knows the secret in the mountain but only you have received this message that there is a secret in the mountain. Then I asked ‘what is the secret in the mountain?’ I received a message to my mind that told me that “the secret in the mountain is the Ark of the Covenant”. Then the dream abruptly ended because I woke up. And immediately, I woke up my husband and recounted the dream to him, and I told my husband that it reminded me of when God gave Moses the Ten Commandments on the mountain and that the mountain was also covered with clouds.

Within several weeks of the dream, ten people in New Zealand, including Shirley Gestro (the Shirley above) began to attend the newly formed Continuing Church of God. For more information about Fesilafai Fiso Leaana’s see Temple Institute claims about the ‘Foundation Stone’ not truly scriptural and differ from Continuing Church of God beliefs and Dreams, the Bible, and the Continuing Church of God.

Biblically, mountains can symbolize government (Psalm 30:7; Isaiah 11:9; Daniel 2:35; Zechariah 4:7) and white purity or cleanness (Isaiah 1:18; Revelation 7:14, 19:14). Clouds around a mountain (or at least the top of it) could show a separation—maybe a separation that keeps many from seeing all of the truth (cf. Job 22:14; Lamentations 3:44) or recognizing top leadership?

The dream seemed to be a signal to confirm that the Philadelphia mantle was not with the Living Church of God, but instead was associated with someone that that had something to do with the ark of the covenant.

In the Spring and Fall of 2013 (which is before I learned of Fesilafai Fiso Leaana’s dream), a couple of different people emailed me and asked if the Continuing Church of God might possibly be involved in actually finding it–and those two people knew nothing about the dream that Fesilafai Fiso Leaana of New Zealand had related to the Continuing Church of God when they originally asked me about it as it was not reported publicly until November 2013. We may have future involvement on this ark matter.

Two COG Blowhards Battling For The Soul Of Africa

We have all been witnessing the hilarious antics of the Great Bwana to Africa, Bob Mzungu Thiel over the last few years as he tries to encourage various church-hopping Sabbatarian groups to join his one true church. He has been "translating" certain of his books into as many languages as possible in what he claims is reaching the entire world so that's can usher in the end times.

His numbers are shrinking after continuing controversy in Africa involving adultery, witchcraft, money laundering, and other misdeeds.

On Monday, we received another 29 translations of our English language booklet The Gospel of the Kingdom of God – the number of languages we have our Gospel booklet in continues to grow as we take steps aligning with prophecies such as shown in Matthew 24:14 and Revelation 7:9.

While here, we received another 27 translations of our English booklet, The Gospel of the Kingdom of God,  as we continue to work towards Matthew 24:14.

This week we received twenty-seven more translations of our English language booklet The Gospel of the Kingdom of God. We have received over 700 translations and the number continues to rise almost every week. Let us all rejoice (cf. Romans 15:10) in that and not be “weary in well doing” (2 Thessalonians 3:13) as we  continue to take steps to prepare for the short work (Romans 9:28; see Preparing for the ‘Short Work’ and The Famine of the Word) as well as to assist with the fulfillment of various prophecies such as are shown in Matthew 24:14 and Revelation 7:9. Throughout the entire church age (which began at Pentecost in Acts 2 and which ends after Jesus returns with the seventh and last trumpet), no Church of God group has ever translated information on the good news of the Kingdom of God in anything close to the number of languages and dialects that we in the Continuing Church of God have had done.

As for Bwana Bob's actual church membership numbers in Africa, he has never been straightforward about it.

Contrast that with another Church of God blowhard named Wade Cox. This buffoon claimed a few years ago that half the entire continent of Africa were now members of his cult. His words are about as credible as Great Bwana Bob Mzungu Thiel's words. It is a sad state of affairs that you cannot even trust COG leaders anymore, to tell the truth. Men, at least those who claim to be men, that should be setting the example of virtue and righteousness. Sadly these two qualities have been missing in the Church of God for decades.

Wade writes about his greatness:

Hi we have received another request for a consortium of 64 churches to join us this week as well as many smaller groups.

This was my general letter to the coords involved.
Dear Kandongo Joseph Ezekiel,
We are very pleased to hear from you and your request for induction to CCG.
Please have everyone study A1 and A2.
I have cced this to all national coordinators in the area. Joash Okiny Hamisi is TZ coordinator and he will arrange for your induction there. Jack Owuor will assist him as is necessary for your induction. We will locate you with local churches there and in other nations. Bizimana Bosco our East and Central African project officer in Uganda will contact you and arrange for inductions also. Habimana Pascal is coordinator for Burundi, Jean Ramazani in Rwanda and Mudimba Muhindo Lene is in the Congo with Jean Paul Nyonzima. George Onyango is Coordinator for Kenya and we are in the process of inducting another large church group in these countries that joined us last month and others.
It seems that we will have well over 40 churches in western TZ and Joash will talk with you about organising the west.
I would like reports from all Coordinators on the churches in their national areas and to arrange for their induction. Send Joseph your contact details also.
Warren and Sosten please arrange for the Zambia inductions with the others and advise me. (Warren is Coordinator for South Africa and Sosten is Coordinator for Malawi. Shungu is Coordinator for Zimbabwe).
Just for information this makes over 110 churches in two months before Passover of the Sabbath Year. Perhaps we have over 10,000 added to us in two months. How many baptisms and ordinations before Passover is anyone’s guess.
Wade

Church of God groups, like Christian missionaries, have for decades sought to bring the white man's version of God to people they consider savages or at least uneducated. They saw fertile ground to impose Western values upon these converts, or in the Church of God's case, impose innumerable COG versions of what each one deemed as true.

These two Church of God groups are currently the biggest deceivers of the brethren in Africa right now. Neither one should be trusted as neither one actually follows the Jesus they both claim to follow.

David C. Pack Compilation of Failed Prophecies

Former Restored Church of God member, Frank Kelley, continues to churn out effective videos perfectly illustrating the madness of David C. Pack and his cowardly enabling hirelings at Headquarters.

The latest compilation is undeniable proof David C. Pack is a false apostle and false prophet. This series of clips spanning from June 2022 to January 2023 should shame and embarrass any ordained man in The Restored Church of God. It stands as a clear warning for those who have not yet joined RCG that they should stay far away. This is not the work of God. Biblical fraud is not the path that leads to truth.

Marc Cebrian

We Would Rather Be Offended By A Picture of Jesus Than Ever Actually Following Him

This was on a Sabbatarian Facebook group the other day. Armstrongism has had a long record of mocking Christians and others who figuratively portray Jesus in art.

The following person took all the junk we were ever spoon-fed and wrapped it all up into one statement:

Never ceases to amaze me when I tell and (show Proof), that the depictions (Images) people see on the internet, art, photos, in church buildings, synagogues, temples, etc., drawings, etc. of a Jesus Christ looking like a hippy, wearing a dress, drunkard, a dope-head, uncouth, unshaven, feminine looking, looking like a drag queen (without the makeup), a transgender, etc., people seem to get somewhat hostile, arrogant, judgmental(condemning), They don't seem to realize such images of Christ originates (starting about 300 years), "after" the apostles and started in Rome, and Jesus Christ looked nothing like those images that have depicted Him as what I have listed herein. But people have been sooo ingrained with those images for "soooo long", that to the general public violating the second Commandment means nothing and is a normal way of seeing Christ......They don't care that it is blasphemoussooooo sad.....I tell those who get angry to read Romans chapter 1 and then 1 Corinthains chapter 1:14. I tell them God The Father taught Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ taught the Apostles....They in turn taught the brethren.....But like sooo many before them, they "Tune" all of it "Out"....

He even produced a video (sound only) of him speaking on the subject. If you thought Bouncing Bob Thiel was a poor speaker, wait till you hear this good old boy.

If these Armstrognites took the amount of energy they expended on getting all pissy over some pictures, imagine what would happen if they rechanneled that energy into actually following that Jesus they ridicule yet know so little about.

Restored Church of God: Godfrey Denhere Exit Letter

Restored Church of God

Godfrey Denhere Exit Letter

October 10, 2023

Dear Mr. Louis Grey,

I trust this email finds you well.

First of all, l want to take this opportunity to thank you for your guidance since you took over the reins after the demise of Mr. Lomas. You resuscitated the church from spiritual lethargy, and l was personally inspired by your approach to guiding God's flock. It was a breath of fresh air and inspiring to witness the growth and fruit that came with the blessings as everything was restored in place.

However, over the years since the advent of the prophecy series, things have taken a dramatic shift, and the simplicity of Christ is no more. The teachings from David Pack are nothing short of blasphemous. The man has taken all the titles that belong to Christ, and here is a short list of the ones that come to mind:

Joshua the High Priest

Elijah the Prophet

The Branch

Messenger of the Covenant

Many times this year, l have beseeched God to show me the simplicity in Christ, and God has been faithful to show me even more than l asked. Time and space do not allow me to delve into the many details, but l have shared with you one aspect relating to Christ's ministry, which l proved in various ways that it began in 30 AD. Many other details about prophecy are now clear, but it is pointless to share them with you because you will not believe them.

I will mention one prophecy that God opened my mind to clearly understand. It is unmistakable that David Pack is fulfilling the prophecy of 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4. I have shared this information with you in the past, but you probably didn't read it. I talked to almost all brethren at the Feast, and no one understands the “present truth” of the prophecy series. They are all confused except for a few blue-eyed followers who can't even explain the “present truth” from the Bible. They must first read their notes, which they don't even understand. I have much to say, but it is pointless.

The time has come for me to flee from the jaws of the man of sin. I will not sit by and be spiritually tortured by lies and deception as the ministry justifies and protects this great fraud. Deuteronomy 18:20-22 is instructive to “....not be afraid of him.” Check the meaning of “afraid” in the Strong’s Concordance.

Luke 21:8 is even more specific. In the temple, Christ gave a warning meant for the last era: "Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying I am [Christ]; and the time draws near, go ye not therefore after them.”

Who has come in this present age in the Churches of God saying, “I am Elijah the Prophet / The Branch / Messenger of Covenant” (and more)? Who has predicted many times that the time draws near? Mr. Grey, I leave you to fill in the gaps…

God has a sense of irony that is unparalleled. Below are the words of David C. Pack from his book, “The Government of God—Understanding Offices and Duties.”

The Government of God—Understanding Offices and Duties

Chapter 13 – False Apostles

pp. 241-242

False leaders are always known by the FALSE TEACHINGS they bring, which they invariably seem to bring “privately,” until their victims have been conditioned to believe something they had not recognized as new. By then it is often too late to recover. The key for the brethren is to stay alert and to act before it is too late.

But the warning applies to the ministry as well. In Acts 20, Paul was speaking to the assembled Ephesian elders for the final time before his life was to end in Rome. He told them to “Take heed…unto yourselves, and to all the flock…For I know this, that after my departing [his death] shall grievous wolves enter in among you [there it is, again], not sparing the flock” (vs. 28-29). Many believe this only occurred in the first century, or in the WCG. They could not be more wrong. In fact, the widespread blindness of the Laodicean age ensures the problem will be more subtle, with more kinds of less obvious heresies brought in “privately,” and probably more than at any other time in Church history.

Paul’s warning continued to the elders: “Also of your own selves shall men arise…” (vs. 30). The ministry is warned here—and this must have been a very sobering statement when heard!—that some right there in the group would turn doctrinally corrupt. Therefore, the danger for the ministers was the same as the brethren. It would be their associates within the ministry standing up “speaking perverse things to draw away disciples after them” (same verse).

Of course, it would generally be the TOP LEADERS who were in a position to “draw away after them(selves)” more than could any pastor or elder within a larger organization. The ministry is to be watching among themselves for such “top” wolves.

Paul’s warning in Acts 20 to the assembled Ephesian elders carries this very warning, when speaking of “grievous wolves.” The Greek word translated “grievous” is most correctly translated “heavy” or “weighty” (but also “grave” or “burdensome”). We might then best describe what God had in mind through Paul as HEAVYWEIGHT WOLVES. Pause to consider until the meaning intended sinks in!’’

The bolded emphasis is mine. Pages 243-244 continue another warning from Paul to the Corinthians.

Paul warned the Corinthians: “For such are FALSE APOSTLES, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore, it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works” (II Cor. 11:13-15).

Let me repeat: False apostles—deceitful workers—in the world are no threat to God’s people. It is in the Church where these men present danger to the flock. Therefore, Paul’s reference to Satan and “his ministers” means ministers he controls “among” God’s flock.

     Do not miss this!

Grasp this most stunning reality. The archenemy, Satan the devil, has ministers whom he directly controls within the Church of God. Some claim high office. This is the message of II Corinthians 11:13-15. We are specifically told—warned!—that these men among God’s people are hard to discern—they appear as angels of light—and can even look like APOSTLES!’’

Finally, Mr. Grey, here is a warning from Mr. Hebert W. Armstrong.

“Did Christ Reorganize the Church?”

Herbert W. Armstrong

The Good News

February 1939

It is US Satan is seeking to deceive. He will deceive even the very elect IF POSSIBLE. And it is possible if we are careless, and assume things without careful study of all sides, and ample PROOF from the Scripture. We must be continually ON OUR GUARD never trusting any man, or even a board or group of men, but God alone, through His holy word!

The scriptures speak of FALSE apostles, and of “them which SAY they are apostles, and are not, but hast found them LIARS.” (II Cor. 11:13; Rev. 2:2). Let us beware being deceived. It is the COMMANDMENT KEEPERS whom the Devil seeks, in these latter days, to deceive!

For some time, it has become a burden for me to sacrifice to support a work led by the man of sin, and I withdraw from being a member of RCG. I will not sit and wait for the miracles to start happening. God will lead me to the next step of my calling.

Thank you once again for everything while I was a member.

I do not wish to be contacted to discuss anything.

Kind regards,

Godfrey Denhere
