Just think how a nice cool glass of water would taste right now!

Exposing the underbelly of Armstrongism in all of its wacky glory! Nothing you read here is made up. What you read here is the up to date face of Herbert W Armstrong's legacy. It's the gritty and dirty behind the scenes look at Armstrongism as you have never seen it before! With all the new crazy self-appointed Chief Overseers, Apostles, Prophets, Pharisees, legalists, and outright liars leading various Churches of God today, it is important to hold these agents of deception accountable.
Related to this, a final passage explains what the ancient Israelites did after they had been delivered from Egypt: “They came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the Lord’s offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all His service…And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted, and brought bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold: and every man that offered offered an offering of gold unto the Lord” (Exod. 35:21-22). Exodus 36:7 states, “For the stuff they had was sufficient for all the work to make it, and too much.”
Since Christ was going to dwell with Israel and lead them personally by a pillar of cloud by day and fire by night, He would need His own tent. The people lived in tents and so would God as an “inhabitant” of the camp. Think of the last six chapters of Exodus as outlining the kind of tent (tabernacle) that He wanted for Himself. Have you ever thought of God’s Old Testament tabernacle in the wilderness this way?
The next verse shows more about the use of God’s voice, but also how the Church can expect extraordinary blessings going forward after reunification: “The Lord said unto Moses, Thus you shall say unto the children of Israel, You have seen that I have TALKED with you FROM HEAVEN…in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will BLESS you…” (Exod. 20:22, 24).
Notice in the next several passages the crucial importance of hearing and heeding God’s VOICE. The first speaks of how healings, so lacking in the splinters today, may soon be experienced in large numbers by those who follow Christ’s voice back to His Church: “If you will diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord your God [then from Sinai], and will do that which is right in His sight, and will give ear to His commandments…I will put none of these diseases upon you, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that heals you” (Exod. 15:26).Dave's cult member swill soon be disease free while the splinter cults will be decimated by all kinds of diseases.
Exodus 3:20-22 describe how God would deliver His people. They were also to loot the Egyptians. Think of God instructing the remnant in Haggai 1:8 to “bring wood” from their “mountains,” meaning their collapsing governments: “I will stretch out My hand, and smite Egypt with all My wonders…and after that he will let you go. And I will give this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians…you shall not go empty: but every woman shall borrow [Heb: “demand”] of her neighbor, and of her that sojourns in her house, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment…and you shall spoil the Egyptians.”
Next understand that—time and again—by God’s design (don’t miss this in the growing parallel!), God refused to allow Pharaoh to let His people go. God wanted their release to come on His timing, and to show His power. Today, God is not just going to deliver spiritual Israel from the “Egyptian” leaders under whom they serve. He wants to completely destroy the Egypt around them—to eliminate the place of bondage that now holds them. Yes, God will bring His people out of the splinters, but at the same time He will destroy the splinter organizations around them, leaving nothing remaining. The reader would do well to study the entire book of Exodus to examine the whole process at work for parallels, remembering that God in Haggai points you to this book.
