PCG: God Is Presently Stationing His Angels In Certain Locations around The World In Preparation For The Tribulation

Ever eager for God to come and spank the world with pestilence, famine and war, Gerald Flurry says that God is stationing angels at various points around the world in preparation for the tribulation. The angels are really pissed off like Flurry's god.  They are just itching to wipe most of humanity off the face of the earth. Church of God leaders need this to be so.

The violence, pestilence, famine and starvation of the Tribulation are already building! The terrible prophecies we have discussed for years are starting to come to pass! And God isalready preparing by stationing these angels in certain locations among the nations. These spirits of God are walking to and fro over the Earth right now! They will have to deal with Satan in all his wrath to make sure God’s plan is carried out, and you can be sure they will succeed. God is active in all this.
If God is getting ready for this even now, then we certainly should be getting ready too! This is not something to take lightly!

PCG: "...you cannot legislate the way people think "

Gerald Flurry makes the following comment in his latest booklet.  This is pretty rich coming from a guy that controls every aspect of his follower's lives to the point they will abandon families just because he said so.  The Church of God has always been about legislating what its members thought with hundreds of booklets, letters, magazines and books on every topic imaginable.
David could command huge choirs of people, and he commanded praising and thanking God. That is straightforward instruction. But you cannot legislate the way people think. This is where character comes in. Each individual must make his own decisions and master his own thoughts.
When has any member in the church ever been able to make their own decisions and formulate their own thoughts without the church interfering in one manner or another?  Anytime a church member does that the ministry brings the hammer down.

Shedding Your Religion...Some of the feelings we have all had...

Shedding Religion: Sixteen things people report about their journey.

1. You’re losing your religion but gaining your sanity.
2. You left the church because it wasn’t safe for your psychological health.
3. You know you are on the right path, but trying to explain it to others is like nailing Jello to a wall, and you often feel misunderstood.
4. Your new life beyond religion is not entirely as defined as things used to be.
5. You have twice as many questions as you do answers, but strangely you’re okay with this.
6. You were accused of being a heretic, and you took it as a compliment.
7. You desperately wish someone (anyone!) would just accept where you are right now. Just for a couple of people, you could sit down with face-to-face to share where you are without the threat of judgment and condemnation.
8. On Monday you feel free, and on Tuesday you wonder if you are going crazy.
9. You can't listen to Christian music anymore.
10. You don’t know how to answer the question, "What do you believe?"
11. You refuse to divulge the titles of the books you are currently reading because you know it’s going to alarm the people who already think you’ve lost it
.
12. You get nauseated when you hear glib God-talk.
13. You’re not sure where your Bible is.
14. Suddenly you find yourself liking the people who were previously classified as “them.”
15. You don't quite know what to say to people who ask you to pray for them or offer to pray for you.
16. You remember the things you once believed and say to yourself, "What was I thinking???" ©

The Kingdom of God

PCG Gerald Flurry: It is your responsibility to PROVE that God spoke to me!

Gerald Flurry says it is easily proven from the Bible that his creature he calls "god" speaks to him.  This just lets Ol’Sixpack off and places the burden on the members. He can say what he wants and get by with it and the members are dumb enough to follow along.
In the past, when God has given me new revelation, words flowed into my mind and entered my thought process, often leading me to certain scriptures. But with the revelation about the new stone and throne, it was different. This time, I heard a strong voice. It was more powerful. I don’t think anyone else would have heard anything, but I certainly heard it. It really startled me, as I think it would anyone. That was the first time I had ever experienced anything like that.
That voice left me somewhat shaken, but in a good way. As soon as I heard it, I started studying the Bible; I wanted to prove that revelation from God’s Word. After studying, I began to see that Jesus Christ was establishing a new throne, just like that voice had said. I began to find all the scriptures and put them together. You can do the same thing: This book goes through many scriptures that prove this truth. You don’t just have to accept my word for it: You can prove that voice came from God.
I understand why some would question this, if I just heard a voice and didn’t have any proof from the Bible. But when you put all this evidence together, it proves that I really did hear a voice from God! The proof is all laid out in the Bible. You don’t want to follow someone who has simply heard a voice—I certainly don’t! It requires study, prayer and meditation on your part. There are also voices coming from the devil. People talk about hearing those voices all the time, after which they do terrible things!
This is obviously extremely important to God. If He is going to vocalize that there is a new stone and a new throne, that has a lot of weight. I don’t know if Christ personally came or personally spoke, but I do know God conveyed that message to us. And when you see in Amos 9:11 where God says, “In that day will raise up the tabernacle of David,” it certainly could allow for Christ to personally speak this truth to His Church. After all, it is His throne! Amos 9:1 says He came and appeared before God’s people sometime during the court case. He made a personal appearance. At that time we didn’t see anything, but we know He appeared because the verse says so. (You can read about this in Chapter 4 of this book, and further prove it by studying my booklet on Amos.)
I do think God will be working more directly with us as time goes on because we are preparing for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. Christ is the Head of this Church. He can speak to HisleaderifHewantsto.Heisgoingtodoalotofthattoallof us very soon, so we had better get used to it.
I have always said that God has never given me any vision outside of the Bible, and I still say that. This new revelation is in the Bible.
But there was a change. When God gave me this revelation, it was many times more emphatic than any revelation God has ever given me. People can scoff at this, but they won’t have very long to do so! We will have even more dramatic things to show them before this is over.
Why the change? Why would God, instead of just letting those thoughts come into my mind, speak this or have it spoken in such a strong way? I believe that Christ knew He had to emphasize it or I would not have realized what a radical leap this is for us spiritually! This is about the new throne of David! This is about a promise God made to David and has kept for all these thousands of years. Christ is about to return, and He has a voice in what kind of a throne will be here when He arrives!
I don’t think God could have gotten the message across to me the way He normally reaches me. This was a gigantic change that had to be made in this Church! It is about ruling the world and even the universe! I think this message could only have been conveyed by a strong voice—and then we had to start proving it to be true.
We know that Christ is the Head of this Church, but you know it more deeply when you hear a voice like that! It certainly underscores the importance of this revelation.
Most places in the Bible where God gives revelation to a prophet, it reads something like, “The word of the Lord came ....” You can see this in Zechariah 6:9, for example: “And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying.” But as we will see in the next chapter, the context here is about the new throne of David. And in verse 12, it looks like there is a change here: “And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying ....” That seems like a different way of expressing it than it is in verse 9. It is discussing the BRANCH, or Christ, who delivered that message to somebody—maybe directly to me. From the context, it appears Christ may have spoken those words Himself.
Many people would hear this and think it is a big fantasy. But they will not move a finger to try to prove whether what we say is true! Nevertheless, you can prove this. And it is your responsibility to do so if you are going to obey God!

What God does require of people is to prove that Flurry is a raving lunatic and to then not follow the guy.  No human being should be paying tribute to any COG leader.  In 2018 not a single one of them have any credibility.

PCG: Unless you LOVE the ministry your salvation is at stake

If you were a Philadelphia Church of God member, could you and would you love your minister?  Would you love the one who tells you to dump your child at the mall?  Would you love the one who tells you to stop speaking to your children, grandchildren, parents or grandparents? Would you love the minister that tells you to sell your business and give all the money to the PCG?
Do you really love the ministers who guard the ordinances of God? We must, if we are to share David’s throne with Jesus Christ!
Look where the Laodiceans are: They followed men who didn’t guard the truth of God. They followed men who did not follow God!
Next, let's threaten the members with tithing.  Make them feel like they are sinning for not sending in a full amount.  Make them feel like their salvation is at stake for not wanting to tithe.  Even though the new covenant does not expect tithing nor teach it, but instead force it upon your members as a salvation issue.
The priests under Ezra collected tithes according to God’s law (verse 44). This is a doctrine the wcg did away with almost immediately after Mr. Armstrong died! They saw it as old and outdated. But anciently, those Jews learned to rejoice in giving to God. They loved to have a minister do whatever was necessary to keep them from going into captivity. They knew the value of such a minister!
Your salvation will be at stake if you do not remain faithful to your minister.  After all, he is far more important than Jesus or grace or love.
We need to love God’s faithful ministers before the captivity so we can escape such captivity! We have to learn this lesson today and not go the way of those ancient Jews prior to captivity—the way the Laodiceans are going today. The modern- day nations of Israel are about to go into captivity—the worst captivity mankind has ever experienced!
