Creepy UCG Program To Indoctrinate Young Children Into Staying In The Church

The Untied Church of God has published new guidelines for a new youth educational instruction program, "UCG Youth Instruction Program—A Deuteronomy 6 Model."

Like all COG's these days, the UCG is not able to keep it's youth from remaining tithing members once they hit college age. Most leave because of the hypocrisy they see daily or have easily proven that the law is NOT to be kept, or that they are just plain sick of religion.

The following quote from the United News is stirring up a lot of talk on various COG related sites.  What has struck many people is the list of things that people can do to entice children to stay involved, starting at a young age.  What many are noticing is that the list sounds much like what pedophiles do to groom children into becoming compliant.  While I know that was not UCG's intent, it still is rather creepy!  Nothing makes a COG feel more successful though than having brain-numbed compliant children and adults.

One thing that is painfully obvious is that no where in the list of points below is there ANY reference to Jesus.  They just cannot handle the guy! If they did, they would have to admit their Old Covenant silliness is wrong.

While God clearly lays the primary responsibility for teaching children on the parents, He also indicates that the Church community at large must be involved in passing on His ways.

As a church, we are assessing how to be more effective with youth instruction by emphasizing a Deuteronomy:6:6-7

“parents first” model, where the Church supports and supplements parents’ teaching, but does not supplant their responsibility.

So how can you as a Church member be involved and help pass on God’s way of life to the children in your congregation?

Here are some tips:
 

• Get to know every child’s name and have conversations with him or her.

• Make a point to acknowledge, smile, talk to each child every Sabbath or at other times when you see them. It is important for them to know you care about them as an individual.

• Get to know one thing about him/her that they enjoy doing.

• Ask how school is and what do they want to do when they grow up.

• Find out who their favorite Bible hero is.

• Find out what their favorite Bible scriptures or stories are. Why do they relate or like those the best?

• Where are they going for the Feast and what are they looking forward to learning and doing?

Philadelphia Church of God Brags About Ripping Another COG Family Apart

The Philadelphia Church of God had an article in the October2, 2014 issue of The Philadelphian  rag for TRUE followers of Flurry's harsh spite-fueled god.

It featured an article about a Canadian teen who lives in a household where the mother is a Philadelphia Church of God member and his father is a member of the United Church of God.


Reading the article it is easy to see how Flurry brainwashes his followers through his lies and deceptive practices.  He article is very blatant on labeling every one outside the PCG as lost and Laodiciean.  It's sad to see this kid swallowing this vomit, particularly when there is absolutely NOTHING in the PCG that is God oriented or grace directed.

"Eventually, the WCG's watered-down doctrine convicted  D..........'s parents to stop attending services.  When he was about 9, the family left the WCG and began attending an offshoot group. His father still attends services there.

"D........'s mother left the offshoot group in June 2012 after 5 years.....That August,  D.....'s mother counseled with PCG Local Elder Timothy Oostendarp in their home.

It took time for D...... to adjust to a change of scenery after spending an entire life attending Laodicean services.

Further down in the article they make this statement about the boy using his as a direct jab against UCG:  

Before making the move to the PCG, he only endured services, now he looks forward to them.

Then the PCG writes:

D...... knows from experience how off-track the Laodiciean churches are.   "It's hard to see when you are in it," he says.  "I didn't have a standard to compare it to until I came here.  The thing that really characterized it: 'The rules are slack. They aren't urgent about keeping the rules or keeping the standards high."

"They keep the holy days, " D..... says.  "They do a lot of things similar to the truth.  It's very deceptive.  There's no revelation or deep prophecy, just mainly Christian living.  They think God works with all of (the splinter groups).  I never heard them say anything about the true Church.  They never talk about being the Bride of Christ."

D....... hopes his father will come to the PCG one day and experience the blessing of being God's Philadelphia remnant.

It's sickening how the Philadelphia Church of God and the Restored Church of God take great pleasure in using children as weapons to tear families apart all to appease their hate-filled god.  This has been the tradition of Flurry and his cronies for a long time now.  Dave Pack does he exact same thing. 

Great will be the day these sick men are out of the picture and Armstrongism is wiped from the face of the earth!

The Continuing Church of God is the most important Church of God on the entire planet today that is being led by God's most humble, knowledgeable and double-blessed servant to have ever walked the earth.  Because this leader is such an outstanding success he has had hundreds of thousands attending his Feast sites around the world.....NOT!  Check out his stats below.

We had four Feast of Tabernacles' sites in Africa (including a very limited one in Nairobi), two in North America (including one video site in Kansas), one in New Zealand, and one video site in the Philippines. Over 500 people part of the Continuing Church of God were able to attend in 2014. We had more than double the number of attendees in North America and Africa this year compared to 2013.

64 US members, minus 4 for his family leaves 60 people that are essentially funding Bob Thiel's world-encompassing church.  Like all COG leaders who run harlot daughter churches of Armstrongism, Thiel claims that his little flock is stepping out on faith and will be greatly blessed.  Its always a remnant that has preserved the truth.

Assuming these 60 members are tithing on around 30,000 income, Apostle/prophet/soon to be martyr Thiel could be bringing in $180,000.00 a year.  Of course that "60" includes kids, spouses who don't work and others, so his income is way less than the $180.000.

With almost all of his "members" in Africa and some loosely affiliated groups in Asia being from low income areas, they will not be sending him much money.  If they are then they need their heads examined!  If Thiel were a true man of God, which he's not, he would tell them to keep all their money for themselves and to take care of he poor, the widows and orphans in their African areas.

Even Dave Pack is embarrassed at the utter failure Thiel has become!  Well maybe not so much...gloating more than likely.

Is Your Beef Stew Making You Idolatrous and Wicked?

The Church of God Chief Pharisee, James Malm, ever on a quest to control his followers lives is now telling them how to cook beef stew.

When we make a soup or stew we should first slowly cook the meat, and then strain the blood from the broth through a cloth before adding the vegetables. 

God uses a stew made of choice meat, which in the cooking becomes full of oozing blood and floating scum which is not strained off and the stew of fine meats is polluted; as an allegory of the apostates.  We the spiritually called out were called out and made the choicest people to the Eternal, only to become polluted in our own idolatry and wickedness.  

When questioned about his legalistic nonsense, the Chief Pharisee responds:

I have never heard of such a thing–is there a scriptural reference to validate this practice? My understanding has been that rinsing off meat that has been properly drained of blood after slaughter with water (along with trimming off excess fat)was all that was required prior to cooking it.
Also, what about roasted or fried meat? Since some of the offerings that were cooked in such manner were granted to the Levites as food, that would seem to make this practice okay for preparing food.

We are specifically commanded never to eat any blood in several places. That would certainly include the straining off of any blood [the dark clumpy pasty mess that comes off slow cooking meat.] that came out of the meat in cooking. Especially when today’s meat is not fit for consumption and all we can do is wash it well and then scoop off the bloody scum at home. You MUST keep two days of Feast of Trumpets in 2015 because of a 5% / 95% chance you are keeping the wrong day

FALL HOLY DAYS:   As usual the fall Holy Days are the most difficult to determine ahead of time.  Because of this Israel from the most ancient of times always set aside the earliest expected day as well as the next day, just in case the new moon was not seen on the earliest expected day.
This has given rise to Rabbinic Judaism keeping the Feast of Trumpets for two days, when it is only a one day High Day.  

Pharisee Malm wants his cult followers to miss two days of work next year just to make sure they have covered their ass and any "unpleasantness" that it might cause if they kept the "wrong" day..

In 2015 there is a very faint possibility that the Feast of Trumpets could be on Sep 15 although the overwhelming probability is that it will be on Sep 16th.  I do advise taking two days off work beginning with the earliest expected day to avoid any possible unpleasantness for both the Feast of Trumpets and the Fast of Atonement and the Feast of Tabernacles. 
It is about 5% likely that Atonement will be on Sep 24 and 95% that it will be on Sep 25th.  It is about 5% likely that the Feast of Tabernacles will begin on Sep 29 and 95% likely that it will begin on Sep 30.

Even the narcissistic asshats Flurry and Pack are not this controlling!  Well, at least not yet.  Once Malm trains them in the truth they will see the glorious light and COMMAND their members to keep two days.

22 Year Philadelphia Church of "god" Member Finally Leaves The Manipulation of Gerald Flurry Behind

A woman who was a member of Gerald Flurry's personalty cult, the Philadelphia Church of God, relates what she had her family experience in her  22 year membership in the PCG.

She writes what everyone who has been part of Armstrongism has experienced.

When you first come in, it looks so good--lots of friends, laws to live by that seem to promise happiness. All is well--until they think you didn't do something they said to do. Then you're constantly watched as they can't take the chance of you thinking for yourself and breaking rank. Just the smallest thing is suspicious. Then comes the threats. You can't be part of this if you don't follow suit. They begin to instill fear. After that you're hooked. But you keep going on and on because all your friends are there, all your money goes there, and your children are in there.

They have cut you off from the world ever so gradually and replaced everything and everybody with them only. The constant fear of being put out and not "making it into God's Kingdom" keeps you from leaving. You will do anything. Your hope of a lifeline to someone on the outside, to get out, is gone. You have alienated everyone in your family that could help you to get out. You're constantly talking about prophecies and that "we alone" are called and going to the "place of safety" and that no one understands but us in the "true church." It really turns others off.  Giving the Reigns of Our Life Over to Someone Else

Fear is the only way the leaders of all the Armstrongite splinter groups stay in power.  By threatening a member with the lake of fire and eternal damnation for going against them, it scares people enough to keep them submissive and weak.

Cultwatch says this about fear:

Cult leadership is feared. To disagree with leadership is the same as disagreeing with God. The cult leaders will claim to have direct authority from God to control almost all aspects of your life. If the cult is not a religious group then questioning the leaders or program will still be seen as a sign of rebellion and stupidity.

Guilt will be used to control you. Maybe the reason you’re not making money is because you’re not “with the programme”. Maybe the reason you’re not able to convert new recruits is because “your heart is prideful and full of sin”. It could never be that the programme isn’t working, or those new recruits have valid reasons for not joining. It’s always your fault, you are always wrong, and so you must try harder! You will also be made to feel very guilty for disobeying any of the cult’s written or unwritten rules.

.....pathologically narcissistic. They all have or had an over-abundant belief that they were special, that they and they alone had the answers to problems, and that they had to be revered. They demanded perfect loyalty from followers, they overvalued themselves and devalued those around them, they were intolerant of criticism, and above all they did not like being questioned or challenged. And yet, in spite of these less than charming traits, they had no trouble attracting those who were willing to overlook these features. 

"Pathologically narcissistic" is a great description of the leadership of almost all the Church of God's.  One needs to look no further than David C Pack and Gerald Flurry to see these traits blatantly obvious.

On a Facebook page recently, a person wrote that they witnessed a scene with David C Pack that left them appalled.  It seems a group of young men and women were standing around waiting for Dave to arrive.  When he did, the guys rushed to see who got to open Dave's car door first as they shoved the women aside. 

Demanding extreme loyalty is the only way these men stay in power.

Ever since William Miller's epic prophetic failure the Church of God has  been filled with so  many prophets that its hard to keep track on who is actually a real one.  We've all seen how that worked with Herbert Armstrong...not one thing he prophesied came true. Dave Pack has been an epic failure these past several years with his prophecy that three COG leaders would be struck down by his god and all their followers would flock to his group.  Not one thing Gerald Flurry prophesied has come true.  UCG and COGWA are just plain impotent in that department.  That leaves only one TRUE prophet out there...James Malm!

This post is about prophecy and personal plans for this work in the coming months.

The 2,300 day prophecy reveals that the sanctuary will be cleansed 2,300 years after the empire of Alexander is divided into four parts; cleansed by the coming of Christ.  The difficulty lies in determining the date that the empire became four parts and the start of the prophecy.  

The year of the division of Alexander’s empire into only four parts has now finally become clear and the coming of Christ is to be expected according to the Prophecy of God in 2020.  

No one in 1,900 years has ever been able to understand this till James came on the scene!

The fact that no one knew this during the life of Christ does not contradict Revelation 4-5 where Jesus is found qualified to UNSEAL these things AFTER his resurrection!   “No one knows” does not mean that no one will ever know!  

As Dan 12 tells us these things were sealed until the end time and at that time Jesus Christ will unseal [As per Rev 4-5 and Daniel 12] these things and reveal them in a large increase of spiritual knowledge.  

There is an extremely high probability [at least 90%] that Christ will come in early  2020 and that the abomination will be set up in the Vatican in early Oct 2016 with the tribulation beginning by the end of 2016. 

Being a prophet is a HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARD work brethren!  Devoting sixteen hours EVVVVVVVVVVERY day is taxing on the wallet!  Having a real job apparently does not play into this picture of being a prophet.  This huge financial drain on Malm is cutting into his time writing his book and other articles.

As we get close to Passover if necessary I will leave the book I am working on, to return to it after Passover, as I want to cover John right before Passover.  
 
Then during the summer I want to complete the Gospels and also the Epistles leading up to the fall Feast.  At the same time I want to keep up with world and COG news and I also want to do studies on specific doctrinal matters and issues such as child rearing, marriage physical and spiritual  etc.  

To apply myself about 16 hours a day  seven days a week in composing articles for posting [remember that nearly every post takes hours of study, thought and preparation], and also in personal counseling; I need your prayers and financial support to complete this work

It is also time for this true followers to cut back on their standard of living in order to send it in for the final push.  That loyalty to the prophet with their finances will earn them high favor with Malm's god.

As we see God’s correction coming into sight; this work must be redoubled; and we must all awake and run to our Mighty God and to a zeal for his Word.  In that way true unity with God will come for the called out.  

 How can one not support a prophet with the following mission?

• Brethren I am come  NOT to sow division from God, but to HEAL THE DIVISION of the brethren FROM GOD;  by calling all to sincere repentance and a wholehearted relatiuonship with Almighty God! 

• I have come as a healer of the divisions between the brethren and God!  If that means that I must call the brethren to divide themselves from sin;  I will do so without compromise or hint of holding back!   

• Yes, I AM dividing the faithful brethren from following idols of men and false traditions to turn to an intense zeal to learn and to keep the whole Word of God!  I am wielding the sharp two edged sword of truth, dividing the holy from the profane; according to the Word of Almighty God!  

• In order to reconcile with God, it is essential to divide ourselves from our idols and false traditions: Yes in that sense I am causing division:  Division from idolatry and sin, and reconciliation to God!  

• Brethren the time of our judgment for following men blindly and without question is at hand, within the next months.  

• I can proclaim zeal for God, but the choice is yours. 

The question now needs to be asked....when will all of you reprobates return to the this slop?

God's Most Highly Favored Prophet INCENSED That Some LCG Members Celebrate Birthdays

God's most favorite end-time prophet to ever exist (sorry Davie Pack-it's not you) is getting bent all out of shape over some Living Church of God members who DARED to think for themselves and voice the opinion that it is not wrong to celebrate birthdays.  HOW DARE THEY!  Don't those heathen laodiceans know that the minute they cut into the cake they allow Satan a portal into their mind?

Ended up getting some type of a link to a Facebook discussion of claimed (mainly) LCG members who were discussing and basically advocating the celebration of birthdays. This has been a problem in LCG in the past, and apparently this is growing--that is disturbing.  

While I was in LCG, some would complain to me that various ones there were celebrating birthdays and I told them that LCG taught against the celebration of them (which it presumably still does, though not all there realize this).  Bob Thiel

Dave Pack and the "Restored" Church of God Still Assumes Huge Numbers of People Will Soon Be Flocking To It

The Restored Church of God recently posted its Behind the Work 2014 video online that it made for the Feast of Tabernacles. Its a slick piece of propaganda meant to stir the hearts of the fledgling membership to sacrifice more time and money in order to make Dave's "vision" come true.

Dave Pack's vision came to him a few years ago in a nightmare he had.  He likens that nightmare to the one that Loma Armstrong had that spurred on HWA to spend six months day and night in a public library instead of taking care of his family.  Dave's nightmare though is even grander that HWA's.  Dave envisions that three Church of God leaders will be struck dead and their entire group's will turn towards the glorious light of Wadsworth and come with their tithes and financial offerings.

The only problem is,  this prophecy that Dave uttered close to four years ago has FAILED for the last three years.  No COG leader was struck down by Dave's god.  Tens of thousands of COG members and former members have not seen the glorious light of Wadsworth and have NOT come to him with their money and financial offerings.

Membership in the Restored Church of God remains stagnant despite the grandiose building campaign Dave has been on.  Millions have been dumped onto the Wadsworth property in order to impress the world and to give Dave a little credibility in his memberships eyes.  Try as he might in imitating Herbert Armstrong, Dave CANNOT seem to succeed in accomplishing things like HWA did.

His campus is Wadsworth in no way shape or form even comes close to emulating the Pasadena campus.  Even Big Sandy, with it huge acreage and more rural atmosphere was light years ahead of the Wadsworth property.  Being located between a pollution belching highway and a big-box store is NOT a huge accomplishment.  Even buying a large weed patch next to the campus in order to give Dale Schurter a garden to play in is nothing to brag about.  His gardening and farming techniques were a failure in Big Sandy as they will most likely be in Wadsworth.  Millennial farming will NOT be based upon any of the malarkey that Schurter preaches.

I was struck in the early moments of the video on how Dave had to have film of himself stepping off a plane like HWA used to do.  The problem with Dave's narcissistic shot is that it is a LITTLE plane that was way smaller than anything HWA would have ever dreamed of being seen flying in!  Poor Dave just can't quit measure up!

The next thing you will notice about the film is how cold and sterile the offices and campus truly are.  There is no feeling of warmth, compassion or deep Christian love being exuded anywhere.  All of those being interviewed, those filmed working in the offices,  and those in the shipping areas are in starched white shirts and dark blue suits.  Women are in long dresses and make-up free.  Desks are sterile and sparkling clean.  Everything looks like a sterile petri dish and FAKE!  The falseness comes through in most of the interviews.  You have to wonder if some of those men (no women allowed) actually believe the bullshit Dave espouses.  Money speaks loudly though.

The film ends with a telling interview where it is told how the RCG membership has been TRAINED over the last several years in ways of becoming money-streams to finance Dave's vision.  The tithe money alone cannot support Dave any longer so the membership has to hold garage sales, work concessions, sell in flea markets, hold bake sales, and do as much as they can to keep the money stream flowing.

Despite Dave's grand impression of himself, he has always never quite measured up.  He never has quit measured up to any other COG leader. He can't build grand buildings like HWA did.  Even his proposed auditorium is a little scaled down remnant of the Ambassador Auditorium in Pasadena.  His preaching has not garnered hundreds of thousands of followers.  His booklets, three magazines, television show and the worlds most superfantabuolous web site ever to be created, have not brought in or touched the lives of millions of people. World leaders are not impressed by him even though he owns a piece of Steuben glass. Over half a million people passed though the membership rolls of the Worldwide Church of God in its lifetime.  Dave will be lucky to be able to hit the ten thousand member mark.  As members continue to leave because of the horrific abuse they receive at the hands of the RCG task-master ministry, Dave's little empire is going to start rotting at the seams and be sold to another cult or become a Catholic school of higher education.  With any luck it will bulldozed down to expand the parking lot of the big-lot store across the street.

Joel Hilliker says : Only Those PCG Members Loyal To PCG HQ Will Have Special Access to JC in the Kingdom

Philadelphia Church of God mouthpiece Joel Hilliker wrote an article that was published on the PCG web site during the Feast of Tabernacles.  Joel has a long standing reputation from many who have been in his classes for being many watt's short of a bright light bulb.  He has had no education outside the cult system of Flurry/Armstrongism.  Reading excerpts below from his article will make that painfully obvious.

Gerald Furry and the PCG go to great lengths in ridiculing the Pope and the Catholic church of its power/revelation structure.  Through that haze of theological idiocy Hilliker and the rest of the PCG look upon Gerald Furry in the exact same way the loyal Catholics do the Pope.  

• All governmental power emanates from God through Gerald Flurry to those below him.   The Pope is the spiritual leader of the church and all under him.   

• All revealed knowledge and prophetic utterances come through Flurry directly from God.  All revealed knowledge comes through the Pope and is given to the church.

• As Mary is an intermediary between humans and God, so is Herbert Armstrong an intermediary between humans and the "truth once restored."  That truth cannot be understood without knowing who Herbert Armstrong was and reading his words.

• The Catholic Church is the true church of God.  The Philadelphia Church of God is the true church of God.

I mention this because Joel Hilliker only writes about what he has been personally taught by Gerald Flurry.  Because Gerald Flurry is the official mouthpiece of God through whom all theological wisdom emanates there is no reason in Hilliker's mind to do any research or to question these assumptions of his leader.

Given that, Hilliker writes to the membership of the PCG telling them about what life will be like in the Kingdom of God, specially for the elite who live on the cult Compound in Edmond, OK. Flurry as taught all these people that since they are the true Church and God is working solely with them, and that they are the true government of God on earth today, it is only natural that the Kingdom of God will include them in its power structure.

Hilliker writes:

God has always been headquarters minded. The temporal headquarters of His Work on Earth points people toward Him, and His dwelling place in the third heaven. It projects our minds forward to the time when God the Father Himself will descend to Earth and govern the universe from here! In truth, God Himself is headquarters!

What an extraordinary vision is wrapped up in headquarters, the place where God dwells. God always wants His headquarters to be a bright beacon of light to the world! He wants people's minds tied in to where the Head is.

 Like Herbert Armstrong, Flurry believes that God wants his cult compound to be the "light of the world" or in Dave Pack's case, the "city upon the hill."  God  has made COG cult compounds God's chosen properties in the world today.

In the days of King David, the headquarters of God's chosen nation was in Jerusalem. David wanted to build God a house there that would be "exceeding magnifical"—so magnificent that its splendor would actually bring people to God.

Flurry likes to use David, just as HWA did, in justifying the construction of opulent money sucking monstrosities dedicated to god.   If the building is dedicated to God then the membership would complain as much about  it as they would if it was called Gerald Flurry Auditorium.

He instructed his son Solomon in that stirring headquarters vision, and Solomon built the temple. When the queen of Sheba visited, she was so impressed that she uttered, "Blessed be the Lord thy God"! (1 Kings 10:9). God's earthly headquarters pointed this queen to God, just as King David and God intended. She was moved to contribute wealth to this glorious project (verse 10). She left God's earthly headquarters inspired and filled with vision!

God apparently inspired Flurry to build his monument to himself just like HWA was inspired to build his monument to himself.  Both worked/work as hard as they can to impress the world around them  Its important to these men to be seen as important.

This same scene played out over and over. People came from all over to witness the magnificence of God's headquarters with their own eyes. Kings gave of their treasure, adding to the treasure the Israelites gave. Verse 14 shows that, in a single year, well over half a billion dollars' worth of gold (in today's value) came in!

This is thee same message HWA forced upon the membership to fund his auditorium and opulent lifestyle. The lowly church members need to see what the finest things are in life in order to be prepared to live in the world tomorrow where riches will be for everyone.  It does not matter that the PCG and other COG's suck the money out of members pockets to the point their live lives of poverty.  They will receive their reward later in life so why worry about now.

Physically, what we have at God's headquarters today isn't nearly so impressive. But spiritually, there is something far more impressive happening here. Visiting the headquarters of God's Church in Edmond, Oklahoma, is a special experience. You can sense God's Spirit here. It is a place of peace and joy. To God's people, it feels like home. And God ties us all in with it directly since we fund it through our offerings and contributions. This campus combines the collective energies of those who work here and our worldwide family of co-workers. We all have our role to play in making this the finest headquarters it can be. That's why it is so moving to God's people when they visit Edmond. We can get a sense of what stirred the queen of Sheba and others.

Hilliker wants all loyal PCG members to know that the Edmond Compound is the most godly place on earth today.  Everyone lives in a state of bliss and enlightenment 24/7:

That feeling of awe, respect, joy and peace we experience in Edmond is exactly the feeling that people the world over will have about God's headquarters on Earth in the World Tomorrow! And, once again, that headquarters will be Jerusalem.

So what is that headquarters going to be like for the world at large?  After God spanks the world with death and destruction, the PCG membership will kick into action.  They will be constructing the kingdom of God where all people will come.

Once people have been humbled, we will begin to build in them a habit of focusing on God—and on God's headquarters. "God will reach into the lives of every repentant person on Earth—from Jerusalem" (ibid).

The most important building in Flurry's kingdom will be the Temple located in Jerusalem:

And the most prominent structure within Jerusalem will be the headquarters temple. The mountain of God's house will be established as the highest of the mountains, and exalted above the hills (Isaiah 2:2; Micah 4:1; Zechariah 8:3). The temple will dominate the landscape at the headquarters city, helping people look to where Christ is!

In the thirteen acre temple where God will have his management office, the membership of the PCG will also be living and having offices.  Since they will be gods as God is now, it is only right that they get to an office next door to God. OF course this will not be any of the rank and file of the PCG, it will only be the elite from the compound in Edmond that will have their offices there.

The Millennial Temple

The Prophet Ezekiel describes that temple in wonderful detail. It will be patterned after God's heavenly temple, the seat of His throne today. It will have a footprint of half a million square feet, occupying about 13 acres. That is where God's Philadelphians of today will live!

The outer precinct around the temple, described in the last nine chapters of Ezekiel, will occupy about one square mile of land. The headquarters city itself will only be about 7½ miles square. Considering that it will be the command center for the whole world's system of governing, that is quite an efficient headquarters facility.

Flurry and his elite can't wait to be married to their HUSBAND where they can rule.

What an exciting future we have to look forward to, living and working with our Husband in that headquarters facility. Being a priest at headquarters is a wonderful thing—even today. It is a great blessing to be stationed right in the middle of all the action. In that future headquarters, surely we will often shake our heads and say, What a privilege!

This "husband" thing starting to sweep through Armstrongism is weird and illogical.  This is what happens when you take things as 100% literal instead of using it as a metaphor for something even deeper in meaning.  Since Armstrongism is a totally superficial belief system, deep meaning cannot be found in it.

Only those loyal to Gerald Flurry and this cult HQ in this present age will be allowed to be in God's HQ.  Then to show how even more illogical Flurry is, he says that ONLY LOYAL PCG members in this age will be able to have special aaccess to Jesus in the world tomorrow.  They will be the ONLY ONES to have special access to come near to God.

Those who remain loyal to God today will inhabit special rooms in the headquarters temple. Our offices will be near God's office. We will have special access to Christ—the only ones who come near to God (Ezekiel 40:45-46; 44:15-16). As His helpmeet, we will serve Him—seeing to His needs, helping Him directly.

PCG members will also be Real Estate agent in the World Tomorrow in Jerusalem.  They will be maiking fortunes off those wanting to move to Jerusalem.  I guess that is part of the reasons Lil'Stevie bought his condo over looking the Mount of Olives.  He will get to see JC return and then be able to run his real estate agency from his condo.

Surely many people will want to live close to headquarters. Jeremiah 32:43-44 show that there will be an active real-estate industry in the areas around Jerusalem—the buying and selling of property. It will be the choicest place to live on Earth.

PCG will also be producing "Envoy's for all the gullible sheep to buy.  More money in their pockets!

Perhaps films or broadcasts will circulate around the world showing the latest developments in the building project. Publications like our college envoys might display beautiful photos of the temple and surrounding structures, the colleges, the entertainment productions, the city life, the people in the streets who are heroes like David. All the emotion and enthusiasm we have for God's headquarters today in Edmond will be multiplied by thousands and millions worldwide!

PCG members are being trained today by being forced to send in tithes, offerings to the Compound.  Members are told to sell homes, businesses and real estate in order to send it to Flurry so the Compound can be built even bigger.  It is a training exercise for the world tomorrow.

We've been trained by God to exhibit that headquarters focus today! Just as our tithes, offerings, labor, building fund contributions and sacrifices enable the construction of the facilities in Edmond today, those offerings in the future are going to build Jerusalem!

Flurry and crew are also going to be running he travel industry in the world tomorrow.  Withal those people flocking to Jerusalem someone needs to get them there and who better to do that than the PCG God's!

Clearly, we are going to need a travel industry in the World Tomorrow! We'll need some forms of rapid transportation to get people from distant continents to Jerusalem.

There is even more silliness that attempts to prove as fact on what he imagines the New Jerusalem to be like.  What more can you expect from a guy who has no real theological training.  Being trained at the feet of a narcissistic man who is also theological bankrupt does not produce wisdom or understanding.

Gerald Flurry's Edstone House UK Financial Boondoggle

I had a discussion with a former church member who lives in the UK about Gerald Flurry's latest financial boondoggle.  He was delighted to hear that the internet campaign to bump Flurry off CBS Reality UK was successful.  He then went on to mention that there are ex-members in England who are also warning the government about how dangerous Flurry's cult is.

Another person told me some of the obstacles that Flurry's cult will be facing when attempting to start his "college."

With the recent explosion of Muslim related schools popping up in the UK and the problems they are causing, the UK government will be paying close attention to what Flurry's cult "college" will be teaching.  He will have to offer the national curriculum and promote diversity.  That right there is going to present a HUGE issue for Flurry and his cult.

Armstrongism has always had a great disdain for higher learning offered by the "world's" colleges.  Gone are the days when the WCG had its first college in Bricket Wood, England.  In those days, while still monitored by the government, the college could teach pretty much what they wanted.  Those days are gone and Flurry will have to bow down to the current UK educational standards.

Add to that issue the problem of promoting diversity and Flurry will be in even hotter water.  He will be required to open his enrollment to ALL religious creeds and sexual orientations.  Imagine a gay pride group at Herbert W Armstrong College UK!  What a hoot that will be!!!!!  The UK government will be looking at the mix of students that are allowed to study there.  How many Caucasian, Black, Asian, etc. will be taken into consideration and he is required by law to meet those standards.  They will  require him to have an anti-bullying policy in effect.  That alone is going to create huge issues.  Flurry bullies ex-members and threatens them, he is anti-gay, a rabid Catholicphobe, anti-Muslim, and promotes racial identity of the white race as superior to all other races through his promotion of British Israelism.

In regards to the area that Edstone House is located in, its an expensive area!  Taking care of 22 acres in addition to the manor upkeep and restoration is going to be a HUGE finical drain on Flurry's cult.  Electricity and heating oil expensive will be astronomical.

The UK is not like the U.S. where religious institutions have huge tax breaks and many times pay no taxes at all.  In the UK the only church that gets a tax beak is the Church of England.  All other churches and cults have to pay some form of tax.  As my friend in the UK says, "And we English are highly taxed."  The only way Flurry's cult can get out of paying huge taxes is if he offers a non-religious education to private students following the national curriculum. If he does that then the UK government will help fund his adventure.

As my friend in the UK said at the end of the conversation, "Best close it down then."

Living Church of God Headquarters Continues To Boil In Turmoil

There have been countless stories and rumors floating around foe the last year or two about deep divisions in the Living Church of God hierarchy.  Rod Meredith had to speak out at this years Feast of Tabernacles telling the members and employees that "...they MUST obey us!"  Many are waiting for Rod Meredith to die with hopes of taking the LCG into a more graceful direction that is more merciful.  Die hard extreme legalists what to take it even further into legalism.  Its going to be one big mess once Meredith dies.  If his son is put in charge you can be guaranteed that there will be a huge exodus of members out.

LCG is deeply divided between the hard line leadership types demanding absolute obedience, and the permissive folk with none being faithful to the whole Word of God. As Rod Meredith said at this Feast first High day video “We were placed in control by God and you must obey us” which is Roman Catholic Nicolaitane heresy!  It is fear religion and loyalty to Rod that is keeping LCG together for the moment. COGWA Stabs UCG in the Back Again!

Life is never dull in the land of COGdumb.  For being God's most highly favored people to ever exist in 1,900 years, they certainly are the nastiest ones out there.

COGWA has reportedly stepped on UCG's toes by pre-booking the  building that UCG used this year for the Feast of Tabernacles.

COGWA is setting up its Feast sites as close to UCG sites as they can in an effort to gain from the increasing divisions in UCG.
 
It appears that COGWA now plans to have a Feast site in Bend, OR for 2015 as they apparently have already booked rooms at Eagle Crest Resort, one of the main housing locations used by United. This after hosting a site in Steamboat Springs, a long standing United site this year.

Gerald Flurry Cult Buying Edstone Hall in England in Order to Start Another "college"

Gerald Flurry made good on his promise to buy property in England in order to start another cult college in the "new Europe."  Flurry wants a college in the UK because he feels that he and the PCG will ultimately come into possession of the Stone of Scone and/or the Lia-Fail of Ireland before they flee to Petra.  He will then take it to Petra in order to keep it safe so that Jesus can return and be crowned King of Kings upon it.  That's a pretty wimpy impotent god that needs  a human to keep some stone safe in the middle of the Jordanian desert!

He feels his college students may start a "dig" in Ireland where they will discover the Lia-Fail.  Plus, Flurry has also bragged that this campus would give them more credibility by being European to the people of Europe.

Now Flurry's dream has come true, though now PCG has to struggle to pay this property off which is going to be rough on PCG members considering they are still paying off the 20+ million dollar Armstrong Auditorium.  Now they are going to be saddled with a $4.5 million dollar debt in England!  Considering Flurry's slowly dwindling flock, this is going to be one risky adventure.

Poor Dave Pack must be really pissed that he has been pushed on to the back burner once again by another more "powerful" COG than his.

Pastor General Gerald Flurry announced in July 2013 that Hanstead House and seven acres of adjacent land were being purchased (for $6.8 million according to one source), which would have enabled PCG to recreate Herbert Armstrong’s Ambassador College. PCG could not afford this purchase, forcing Flurry to admit that “God is not opening a door to purchase the Bricket Wood campus near St. Albans, England.”

A church publication subsequently stated that, “PCG officials .... were pleasantly surprised to find a large number of beautiful estates available that are considerably less expensive than the Bricket Wood campus.”

The opening message for the 2014 Festival of Tabernacles was surprisingly given by Stephen Flurry (his father had done so in all the previous 24 years of PCG’s history), before a backdrop of Edstone Hall, located in Shakespeare country in the English Midlands, for which, it is understood, a bid of £2.8 million ($4.5 million) has been accepted. Although mortgage rates are currently at an all time low, it remains to be seen if the PCG is able to complete the purchase this time.

Internet Campaign To Force Flurry Off The Air In England Worked!

Some time back the Philadelphia Church of God boasted on how it was being granted access to CBS Reality in the United Kingdom in order to broadcast their Key of David program to the UK and Europe.  Of course God was the one responsible for this.

There has been a concerted effort recently by several Facebook groups and web sites in letting  CBS Broadcasting corporation in the United Kingdom know that they should not broadcast Gerald Flurry's cult program over its airwaves. Apparently it has worked.  Many  wrote to the company to let them know how the Philadelphia Church of God has broken up families, destroyed marriages and caused suicides. 

Two different pro-COG sites are reporting the story:

British CBS CBS Reality cancelled The Key of David shortly before it’s first broadcast, at 08.00  am on Sunday, 7th September. The program continued to  be listed for a while but has been dropped from the schedule. CBS has not published the reason for the cancellation, nor has there been any comment from PCG. James Malm

PCG announced that, “In mid-July, we received approval to begin airing in Britain. The Key of David will debut on CBS Reality a few weeks before the Feast of Trumpets .... With mounting tension in Britain and Europe, it looks like God’s timing is perfect for launching The Key of David to the general population. Pair with that the possibility of expanding Herbert W. Armstrong College into Britain, and we could muster a labor force ready to take calls, process requests and do other support work for the program.”

“God’s timing” proved not to be perfect, as CBS cancelled The Key of David shortly before its first broadcast was due, at 8.00am on Sunday, 7th September. The program continued being listed for a while (probably due to an appeal by the PCG), but has now been dropped from the schedule. Mark Armstrong Speaks About His Mother's Last Days

To all concerned,

I am sorry to report that my sweet Mother, Shirley Ann Armstrong died peacefully at 3:17 am this morning. The news apparently flew throughout the internet almost immediately, but I wanted to add some context to this terribly sad event.

Most of Mom’s immediate family was able to be at her side before the end came, and for that we are all very thankful.

The days leading up to October 16^th were some of the best she’d had in months. I was able to talk to her at least three times by phone while traveling, passing along the great news that Michael and Melody are expecting. She said, “Tell them congratulations for me.” She also spoke lucidly with them and with Sonja by phone, exchanging information about each other’s circumstances as you’d expect.. Wednesday the 15^th was a particularly good day for Mom. She was up for breakfast, lunch and dinner, feeding herself and expressing her gratitude to my brother David who was staying with her.

Mom never used a wheelchair or was confined to her bed. She got where she was going, on one of our arms, on her own two feet right up to the last day. Though she really never felt good or energetic for at least the last two years, she was never in any agonizing pain, and for that we are eternally grateful.

When I got word, pre-dawn in Lake Tahoe that Mom was in the midst of a life-ending emergency, I was able to secure an early morning flight and arrive at her side by about 8:30 pm last night. Matthew and his sons Andrew and Hunter had arrived and visited with her earlier. She was only in a semi-conscious state, but I’m sure she was aware of my presence and hope that was a comfort. She held on until my Son, Michael and his wife, Melody along with her only granddaughter, Sonja and her husband, Matt arrived shortly after 1:00 am. We all had the opportunity to speak and be close with her until her breathing became labored.

I was able to reach beneath the covers, take her hand in mine and say a prayer thanking God for her, for all she’s done for all of us and all she’s meant to so many; for the fine example of sterling character that defined her whole life; for being the rock and the glue that has held the Hammer and the Armstrong families together; and asked God to take good care of her. After saying “Amen” she yawned once or twice, and breathed no more.
She’s safe in God’s Hands, she didn’t suffer terribly as many do. Her time had come, as it must have been God’s will. Surely it is a time of great sadness and we’re all missing her already. But we also have a tremendous amount for which to be thankful and can rejoice in the life we were blessed to share with her. We loved her dearly, as did everyone who crossed her path. She took care of us, kept us all in line, and we’re going to try to stay that way. She was a wonderful wife and an inspiration to my Dad, Garner Ted Armstrong, and crucial to the Evangelistic Association and the ICG.

Heartfelt thanks to everyone for the prayers and well-wishes. We believe they were answered, according to His will. The funeral will be held at Croley Funeral Home at 401 N. Center, Gladewater, TX on Wednesday, October 21 with the time yet to be established.

According to two sources, Shirley Hammer Armstrong has died.  Wife of Garner Ted Armstrong, the disgraced splinter cult leader of the Garner Ted Armstrong Evangelistic Association, Intercontinental Church of God and Church of God International.  Shirley was of the Hammer dynasty they provided much of the property and money for Big Sandy to be developed.

So why bother to post about it?

Because there are many false and heretical leaders that lead people astray on biblical prophecy. And it is not just Protestant-type rapturists.

Say whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat????????????????  What the hell is Bob Thiel?  He's a false heretical leader leading people astray!  Then to slap all other COG's across the face, Thiel points out that they are all IGNORANT morons that have no clue whatsoever about prophecy.

The Sardis and Laodicean Church of God groups do not understand prophecy, the work, enough of the truth, etc., and that is part of why they will have to go through the Great Tribulation. CG7, a group believed to represent Sardis, takes a preterist view that basically most end time prophecies were fulfilled long ago and are for the past. The Laodiceans have so many prophetic misunderstandings, that unless they repent and change (Revelation 3), they will not possibly know when the Great Tribulation will start until it is too late.

Of course Thiel and his little cult have all the answers to this dilemma.  He even points them towards an article on Petra.......which is about as stupid as the meteor splitting the coutnry in two and Obama and Hillary taking over.

I was born and raised in WWCG. Everything that has ever been associated with WWCG has been nothing but pain and horrific emotional stress. I have lost family, friends and loved ones because of the cluster of a fuck that is WWCG and more specifically CULT MENTALITY.

When you are born and raised into WWCG, a CULT, you take on cult mentality. Period. And you don’t even know you HAVE it. It takes YEARS and YEARS to overcome the mind fuck that is WWCG and HWA.

My personal experience is filled with rage and ANGER. Yes... go ahead and cast judgment on my ANGER. I’ve had people tell me to “get over it” or “move on, it wasn’t that bad.” Well, FUCK OFF. Those people are either in denial or have never experienced a childhood of mind games. It is EXTREMELY difficult to let it go. I spent 38 years of my life not realizing that I hadn’t let it go.

Just last week, I realized that I’m still around people with cult mentality. That is when I decided to “let it go” and with LOVE. When I thought some people were my friends have cut me off AGAIN and have made ultimatums such as “it’s us or them”... that’s when I realize that something needs to change.

At the same time, it tells me that CULT MENTALITY is ALIVE and well. There are a lot of people and groups that profess to help those escaping cults. While some are filled with people speaking from the heart, there are some that perpetuate the cult mentality and don’t mean to. Honestly, they don’t even realize they are speaking CULT LANGUAGE.

As someone who was looking for a safe place to share DEEP secrets, I found a world that I thought I could trust but ultimately was wrong. But even more IMPORTANT, is that I finally understood the importance of SPEAKING TRUTH and being UNAFRAID who would see the truth. THAT is the biggest challenge. To get those us of hurt and wounded to confront our SELF ESTEEM and STAND UP for ourselves ONCE AND FOR ALL. It’s about being HONEST, brutally honest. Why? BECAUSE WE WERE TOLD WE WEREN’T IMPORTANT - WE WERE TOLD TO KEEP QUIET. How much has not been told because it “doesn’t matter”?

WWCG and HWA hated those with authentic voices who QUESTIONED them.

QUESTION EVERYTHING.
