Dave Pack Names His Persecutors

Mike (Don't Drink The Flavor Aid) did what I had no desire to do; he listened to Dave Pack's mind boggling sermon that was posted today on where Dave reveals who the "synagogue of Satan" is.

Dave writes (in the first person):

What is the Synagogue of Satan? Who are they? Do its members meet as a group? Is it a particular organization? Was it the WCG apostates? Is it false Christianity? Or something else? Can we know—conclusively? How do its members “blaspheme”? What does it mean “say they are Jews”?—and how do they “lie”? These imposters are shown to persecute Philadelphia at the end. How do they do this? And how do their actions relate to you?
Mr. Pack states, “I cannot think of a more important sermon for God’s people at the end of the age. Every member in LCG, UCG, COGwa, PCG and COGaic—but also those in every splinter and sliver!—should hear it, and probably more than once. The listener will almost certainly want to do this.”

So who did Davey name as those vile, filthy, apostate tools of Satan?

Mike writes:

Clarion Call Dave posted his latest sermon, naming those in the Synagogue of Satan. (Starting around 1:55 into the file) Named Meredith, Flurry, & a bunch of Misters in UCG/CoGWA. And a couple of bloggers. But none of us made the cut -- he named Thielogical Bob and Pharisee James. We'll have to try harder :-D

I find it funny that those named are the COGgers who think they know all, and not those of us that mock and ridicule Dave's stupid teachings. We are getting the opportunity to sit back and watch the COG's devour their own.

And here's the GOOD NEWS of who the BAD PEOPLE really are!

How delusional can this man get? The listener "will almost certainly" -- there's conviction, for ya' -- want to listen to his diatribe more than once?

There's almost no need to comment anymore. These folks just keep on entertaining, unprovoked. As they say, you can't make this stuff up.

Didn't actually listen to all of Clarion Call Dave's nonsense. Skipped through through his sermon and within a few minutes found the good part. Listening to "Weinerdude", as you call him, has armed me with skilz.

DCP persecutors and tormentors like folk who generally don't actually write anything about him but rather may have had to try to work with him in the past and found it impossible...

EX COG Bloggers are a whole different folk.

As one can note, the Apostle Paul vented his rage at Jews and those of the circumcision because they really couldn't hurt him much. However, he didn't rage against the Romans because you just don't do that to the folk who can crucify you before lunch.

Well, can we really disagree with Dave Pack calling Meredith, Flurry, ministers in United and CoGWas, Bob Thiel and James Malm of the synagogue of Satan?

The only criticism is that he missed a few: His own name should be at the top of the list...

But other than that.

It should be noted that as 2012 moves along, it seems to be the year of the ACoG melt down.

Just sayin'.

Well, at least he didn't name or brand any women or minorities!

I'm looking for a word to describe Dave's pronouncements. "Paranoid" is a good beginning, but it is not totally adequate, as Dave's problem goes deeper than that. It doesn't encompass the fact that he sees himself exclusively, as being the chosen of God, and he also feels he has the right (or even calling!)to be God's enforcement arm.

But as an old MAD Magazine parody once advised, "Next time you see someone you might think is a Martian, be careful! He might actually turn out to be a Martian!"
Nahhhh!!!

"In this sermon he graphically describes himself as he condemns others. [...] I hope you have a strong stomach for the appalling self righteousness exhibited. " - James Malm.

If I didn't know better, I would say he just wrote a great piece of self-deprecating satire.

Sadly, I do know better.

DCP sounds more and more like Gerald Flurry. He is finding himself throughout the scriptures too. No wonder so many who leave PCG go to RCG. It's sad that they can't leave the mind-controlling, self-appointed apostles and prophets that are part of the COG landscape today.
