My life means so much more now that you've brought me knowledge about the Lake of Fire.

That... and British Israelism.

If you're going through hell, keep going.

LOL!

Does he mean she introduced him to religion- and thus, the concept of Hell?
Or, does he mean that life with her is Hell?

Anyhoo, I'm reminded of the Christian preachers who claim a hole was bored deep into the Earth, and a microphone lowered into the hole which recorded the screams of people in Hell for a little while before the microphone melted.

Norm, Someone also lowered a microphone down into Ron Weinland's basement to catch his sermon. Did it to Dave Pack as well and same results in both cases.

Or as the Ozark Mountain Daredevils opined back in the early '70s, "If you wanna get to heaven, you've got to raise a little hell!"

While I can't rule out all other possibilities, my best guess is that death is a permanent end of consciousness for everyone, good or evil, rich or poor, smart or stupid. I believe that death is the great equalizer. But I can thank Herbie for introducing "hell on earth" to my parents, who did a bang up job of selling it to me, foolish bastards that they were.

Why wait for an uncertain future when you can experience hell right now? Sign up for the Worldwide Church of God now, while you still can. Call 1-800-APOSTLE, operators are standing by. Or simply send a check for the total amount of your life savings to HWA Personal Trust Fund, 300 W. Green Street, Pasadena, CA, 91123.

A "pitch for the angels" that was (recalling the old Twilight Zone episode).
