Part 2
Exposing the underbelly of Armstrongism in all of its wacky glory! Nothing you read here is made up. What you read here is the up to date face of Herbert W Armstrong's legacy. It's the gritty and dirty behind the scenes look at Armstrongism as you have never seen it before! With all the new crazy self-appointed Chief Overseers, Apostles, Prophets, Pharisees, legalists, and outright liars leading various Churches of God today, it is important to hold these agents of deception accountable.

It's a shame that Benjamin's 1st COG experience was with RCG. I am a former member of that organization, but have a long history with other COG groups.
As I recall almost everyone who came with RCG (who didn't have a previous history with WCG usually left pretty quickly).
I am happy that he figured them out too!
Maybe, others will wake-up????
eh, he was never truly converted, and he got mixed up with a faux church....
personally, I think he'll be fine in the long run.

Converted? What do you mean by converted? Following a man? Cult leader? Jesus said follow HIM, not men. What about Jesus and HIS teachings? THIS is conversion. Yes this guy is converted in that he can see all the faux-ness of the RCG.
The PCG leaders behave the same way. They teach the same thing...follow a man, not Jesus Christ. Whoever wrote this dumb comment about being "converted" must still be following a man!
continuing...
Nothing wrong with keeping the Sabbath and tithing and eating only clean foods as long as there is the love of God and Christ and THEIR teachings in the organization/church you subject yourself to. None of them have the complete story.
Very informative on RCG HQ activity----unfortunately not surprising.
What is interesting is when you are in a congregation outside of Wadsworth you obviously form friendships with people in your specific congregation. Even that is frowned upon at headquarters because you may be forming a clique. What they really are concerned with are people talking about their sermons amongst a group of people not monitored by a loyal minister to the cause.
FOT 2011 the members of my congregation wanted to rent a house together at the Lake of the Ozarks feast site. This was not allowed by the administration in Wadsworth. They were forced to find lodging that was approved by Pack, Inc. The writing was all over the wall for me then.
But Benjamin is right. You do not have any fun in the church. You find that your family and friends of the world love and care for you more than the church does. And once this feeling reaches your head you can finally feel no regrets in leaving their influence behind.

MY COMMENT - Actually, it is very difficult for me to understand how anyone can come into any of the Armstrongite splinter groups without first having the experience/indoctrination of the parent Worldwide Church of God. For example, why would anyone in their right mind attend the Philadelphia Church of God to become a tithe slave without any first hand exposure to Herbert W. Armstrong? It just doesn't make any sense to me.

Pack controls all aspects of a persons life. My ex friend had to rid of two videos, very good ones, refuting the Sabbath and the rapture. I feel for this man and others that have opened their eyes. He is hurt and feels manipulated by that con man. I hope he seeks help in the word of God above. Destruction comes when we follow a man.
to EXPCG....
you didn't listen very carefully to what he said, did you?
he only kept the Sabbath, holy days, food laws, etc, because he had to, because they made him do it...there was no desire in his heart to do it.
he had gone through some sort of difficulty and was searching for something.....he stumbled across RCG.
he seems like a nice guy that fell into a cult....thankfully he was able to see it and got out before it damaged him.
Thank you Benjamin Dickmann for your You Tube videos and thank you Gary for posting it appropriately on "Banned By HWA".
I have been out of the cult since the mid 1970s. What I find fascinating is that 40 years later, I can relate to much of what Benjamin is saying. David Pack is emulating and claiming the mantle of Herbert W. Armstrong just as Gerald Flurry and others do the same.
None of these people do any significant work or impact on the world. We were taught that HWA was the end time Elijah who restored all things and preached the gospel into all the world, and then the end would come!
The Plain Truth is few on the planet have ever heard of Herbert W. Armstrong, much less David C. Pack. Why would God give such an ineffective work of witnessing and warning before "the end"?
The answer is God wouldn't, and that the Worldwide Church of God and its 700+ splinter groups are the work of man - producing NO fruit. By their fruits you shall know them!
What has been the fruit of HWA and the WCG and its splinters - a complete waste of time, energy and the resources of many good people just trying to find life's answers just like Benjamin - duped into becoming tithe slaves so the cult masters and their cronies can live an extravagant life style and avoid real work for a lifetime!

I like Benjamin. He's a very likable person. I am glad he's showing that there is life after Pack's cult and life more abundantly.

Well if you are as smart and listening soooo well you would have realized it must be the >minister's fault< whom are suppose to be "converted" enough to catch whether someone is converted before they allow them to attend services. You should know this, right? You obviously didn't hear that secret message direct from God himself.
You sure YOU are converted??...eh?
