"It is the duty of the government to kill gays" So Says COG False Prophet

The Chief Pharisee has laid down HIS law again, this time lashing out at homosexuals. In his eyes it is appropriate that Iran hangs young men and that Isis throws them off of buildings.  When James Malm speaks it is quit obvious as to what happens to the mind of people who are obsessed with legalism.  Like Meredith, Malm apparently is sinless, therefore he can be the accuser of humankind and feel justified in doing so.  James Malm would be quite excited to see Canada and the U.S. do such things below.
God loves the homosexual, therefore the deeds of homosexuals are an abomination to God; and the homosexual person is to be killed so that his example does not infect others. Today there are millions who not only commit this wickedness; they loudly proclaim pride in their sin, so that their sin exceeds that of Sodom.  This is the duty of the government and no individual is to take it upon himself to attack anyone.

Whose duty is it to kill off the false prophets?

Unknown said...

John 8Living Bible (TLB)

8 Jesus returned to the Mount of Olives, 2 but early the next morning he was back again at the Temple. A crowd soon gathered, and he sat down and talked to them. 3 As he was speaking, the Jewish leaders and Pharisees brought a woman caught in adultery and placed her out in front of the staring crowd.

4 “Teacher,” they said to Jesus, “this woman was caught in the very act of adultery. 5 Moses’ law says to kill her. What about it?”

6 They were trying to trap him into saying something they could use against him, but Jesus stooped down and wrote in the dust with his finger. 7 They kept demanding an answer, so he stood up again and said, “All right, hurl the stones at her until she dies. But only he who never sinned may throw the first!”

8 Then he stooped down again and wrote some more in the dust. 9 And the Jewish leaders slipped away one by one, beginning with the eldest, until only Jesus was left in front of the crowd with the woman.

10 Then Jesus stood up again and said to her, “Where are your accusers? Didn’t even one of them condemn you?”

11 “No, sir,” she said.

And Jesus said, “Neither do I. Go and sin no more.”

Here's the famous "Letter to Dr. Laura", which I'm sure Malm would take seriously-

Dear Dr. Laura,

Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding God's Law. I have learned a great deal from your show, and I try to share that knowledge with as many people as I can. When someone tries to defend the homosexual lifestyle, for example, I simply remind him that Leviticus 18:22 clearly states it to be an abomination. End of debate.

I do need some advice from you, however, regarding some of the specific laws and how to best follow them.

a) When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord (Lev 1:9). The problem is my neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?

b) I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?

c) I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanliness (Lev 15:19-24). The problem is, how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.

d) Lev. 25:44 states that I may indeed possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can't I own Canadians?

e) I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself?

f) A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an Abomination (Lev 11:10), it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don't agree. Can you settle this?

g) Lev 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading glasses. Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle room here?

h) Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev 19:27. How should they die?

i) I know from Lev 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?

j) My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev 19:19 by planting two different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them? (Lev 24:10-16) Couldn't we just burn them to death at a private family affair like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws? (Lev. 20:14)

I know you have studied these things extensively, so I am confident you can help.

Thank you again for reminding us that God's word is eternal and unchanging.

Your devoted disciple and adoring fan.

Malm lives in a world where everyone is born mentally capable of either accepting or rejecting Armstrongism. Mental illnesses and personality disorders are explained by Armstrongism in terms of demons. SSAD (same sex attraction disorder) in Malm's world, is not something that one could be born with. No compassion for such a condition is possible for him, because SSAD in his world, is something that one defiantly chooses in rebellion to God, and is therefore punishable by death.

I don't know where the verse is, right now. Maybe someone else can jump in to help. But the Biblical principle is that we will be judged by the same standards by which we judge others. This doesn't bode well for Malm or those who would use his teachings as an excuse for their own hatred. I believe the passages Connie quoted are entirely appropriate not only to heterosexual acts, but also homosexual acts.

James Malm does not have the right, or the authority to pronounce judgment on anybody, let alone meting out the death penalty. But, his is the mentality promoted by Armstrongism. You folks who believe in an ACOG administered place of "safety" should be taking notes. Listen very carefully to what they are saying right now, in real time. I guarantee you that in the future, these self-appointed dictators will be passing sentence on the people under them, and ordering stonings in their places of alleged safety! They are not going to suddenly change their spots.

FPS -- False Prophet Syndrome is not something someone is born with. No compassion for such a condition is possible for any of us, because FPS in our world, is something that one defiantly chooses in rebellion to God, and is therefore punishable by death.

Of course, if FPS is an inherited genetic condition (such as Stephan Flurry getting it from Gerald Flurry) it still needs to be managed, like alcoholism or diabetes.

Deuteronomy 18 says that it is to be punishable by death. Revelation 22 doesn't give much hope for Armstrongist leaders because, as it says, 'liars shall not inherit' the Kingdom of God. No, False Prophets, if not killed as commanded by God's Law by the people commanded to do it, they will finally be put to death in the Lake of Fire.

This is something we can all have confidence in, even if we are agnostics, atheists and / or have problems believing in the forged books of Scripture. Cosmologists tell us that eventually our sun will go red on us and expand out burning up the earth.

So now, so far as we can determine, False Prophets will be burned in the Lake of Fire one way or another.

The question is, why aren't they as desperate about being burned up and being dead for all eternity as they are for money, retirement and power?

The only thing worse that being a False Prophet would be to be a gay False Prophet, at least we would suppose.

"Today there are millions who not only commit this wickedness; they loudly proclaim pride in their sin, so that their sin exceeds that of Sodom."

Despite its supposed reverence of the bible, not just the COGs, but christianity as a whole, shows a remarkable disregard for the actual details of the bible as written. The "sin" of Sodom isn't homosexuality.

"God loves the homosexual, therefore the deeds of homosexuals are an abomination to God; and the homosexual person is to be killed so that his example does not infect others...This is the duty of the government and no individual is to take it upon himself to attack anyone."

I think the word "infect" would be more apropos if the god of the bible knew about the germ theory of disease, but at least Malm isn't advocating any vigilante justice—yet. But still, it's too bad Malm only takes his pointers from the Old Testament, the Jewish bible, a book he's totally unprepared to understand, and passages like John 8:3-11 from the New Testament, never factor into his thinking anywhere, um, ever.

"...Every Sunday I [a Jew] turn on the television set, and there’s a priest or a pastor reading from my book [the Old Testament], and interpreting it, and their interpretations, I have to tell you, are usually wrong. It’s not their fault, because it’s not their book. You never see a rabbi on the TV interpreting the New Testament, do you?" — Lewis Black

As Connie pointed out, Christ said 'go and sin no more.' Sin by definition is that which is anti life. As such it should be hated and condemned. Harsh judgments today are inappropriate because 'justice' is inconsistently and not impartially applied, which is why Christ went 'easy' on the woman caught in adultery. Christ knew for instance, that the Pharisees evil hearts was an abomination in itself. If life is precious, the anti life, the anti human, the anti success needs to be discouraged with punishment. God is a God of high standards, and not as an end in itself, but as an expression of how valuable and precious life is. I think some people here don't understand this. This is a trait of God I love, even though I fall short myself.

6.16 PM asks "why aren't they as desperate about being burned up and being dead for all eternity as they are for money, retirement and power?"
I agonized for decades trying to understand this. And not the just the ministers, but the church members as well. I eventually came to the conclusion that people got baptized believing that they could qualify for the kingdom by simply throwing some crumbs at God. This is what Cain did in the book of Genesis. Many realized too late what was really required of them. The ministers are to blame here as well. So today, these people have given up, lacking the character to go through the narrow gate. That's my personal conclusion. Not forgetting, this also means that many ministers are very dangerous, since they think they have nothing more to lose. Why fear man or God if you know that you are qualifying for the lake of fire? We live in dangerous times.

Here's PCG's Joel Hilliker commenting on an ISIL propaganda video.

"It criticizes the US saying that our soldiers fight for the freedom of sodomites. ... You know the White House says that when the US is strong against Muslims that's a recruiting tool for the Islamic State. Well, actually here's the recruiting tool. It's American hypocrisy. It's the sins that America is committing. It's the curses that America is suffering." (Joel Hilliker, Trumpet Hour, November 27, 2015, 53-54 minutes.)

That's pretty strange saying, essentially, ISIL and PCG to a certain degree happen to agree on this topic so PCG must be right. What a strange world PCG's 1% must live in.

Byker Bob said...“But the Biblical principle is that we will be judged by the same standards by which we judge others.”

Comment: This principle often gets twisted in a strange way. A lot of people like to think that they can sin all they want to and get away with it as long as they do not say anything about other people's sins. They are wrong. It is notable that such people typically never stop judging, criticizing, and speaking against people who do not approve of sin.

Byker Bob said...“I guarantee you that in the future, these self-appointed dictators will be passing sentence on the people under them, and ordering stonings in their places of alleged safety!”

Comment: I totally agree that false prophets like Gerald Flurry, David Pack, Ronald Weinland, James Malm, Bob Thiel, and others cannot be trusted at all. Any so-called “place of safety” that any of them comes up with will certainly turn out to be the exact opposite. Those who trust any of these false prophets now will learn to fear them in the worst possible way in any future so-called “place of safety.”

Comment: It might seem harsh of ISIS and Iran to execute homosexuals, but it is better than having homosexuals forcing themselves on everyone else like is starting to happen in North America. Hopefully the people that ISIS and Iran executed were not just falsely accused by some liars. And hopefully the people in North America who for religious reasons do not approve of homosexuality will not be fined, imprisoned, buggered, and executed for their biblical beliefs. Well, okay, maybe some of those things are already starting to happen over here, but hopefully Christians in North America won't be executed for their beliefs.

WOW! I wonder... in which alternate universe this anon lives.
Personally, I hope for the day when gays have the same rights as heterosexuals. I have gay friends who are in the closet because they would lose their jobs if they 'came out'. And, these are some of the finest people and contributors to society that I know. Thankfully, attitudes toward gays are changing, with corresponding changes in laws to reflect the growing tolerance of our gay brothers and sisters.

And what about anon's unfounded fear of being fined, imprisoned or executed for not approving of homosexuality? Downright ignorant and goofy, that fear is! Unless, of course, he wants to harm gays (and from what he wrote, that may be true).

I have lost count of the number of times that people have tried to start a physical fight with me because of my Christian beliefs. This includes relatives, people in my workplace and even people in the COG churches. A good punch can kill or leave you maimed for life. Just showing hanged homosexuals paints the wrong picture. Showing 'hanged' Christians would be more accurate. Oh, I just remembered, they did that for decades in the inquisition.

Byker Bob said...

The picture that was painted for WCG members, leading up to 1972-75 was one where probably the only straight people in the US and BC would be the church members. To hear them speak, gays would be in control not only of Hollywood, but also in all industries, where they would administer hiring and firing based on sexual favors. You wouldn't even be able to go out of your house or into the streets without God's protection, or the unconverted people would be swarming you and undresssing you so that they could "know" you, like the people of Sodom and Gomorrah. Your children, attending public schools, would be at risk especially if they secretly loved rock music or admired pop idols. Just as trendy people suddenly accepted and admired David Bowie in the early 1970s, dominoes would fall, including your friends and family members, until nearly everyone would succumb to perversion. To support this, Bible prophecy was invoked.

Gay people are out of the closet, demanding and receiving equal treatment, but according to surveys, the percentage of gay versus straight sexuality has remained a near constant, as it has throughout history. Nothing like the theories and prophecies of Armstrongism has happened. HWA and his lackies created and played on fear of various people: The Germans, Catholics, black people, immigrants, gay people, and anyone who did not fit the Anglo-Israeli mold. The fact that someone would take it upon themselves to mete out capital punishment places them philosophically amongst others who believe it is their right to judge and kill other humans. Sociopaths generally eventually run into trouble and become incarcerated, but not for thinking sociopathic thoughts. It is only when they act on those thoughts that penalties are invoked. HWA set everyone up to believe that the only people that could be trusted were him and his church. Just try going to their place of "safety" and see how that works out for you. Believe me, they will find other reasons to execute and punish people there!

To Anon at February 2, 6:16 AM,

Interesting that "countless" people (including "people in the COG churches") have wanted to fight you physically because of your Christian beliefs.

"Countless" people is an awful lot, unless you are mathematically challenged and limited to finger-and-toe counting.

Have you considered that there may be a reason why your interactions with others tend to go toward the violent end of the spectrum?

My clue here is that you say even other COG people want to physically attack you when you interact with them.

Perhaps a milder approach would be in order when discussing your beliefs with others?

Anonymous said...

7.59, I never discussed my beliefs with so much as one of these people. These people were near strangers. Perhaps 'religious beliefs' wasn't the best word to use. Cain vs. Abel would be more accurate. That is, my 'crime' in the eyes of these people was my character. You can't hide from people what you are. If you tried hard to please God, you would know this from personal experience. Your 'milder approach' changes nothing, perhaps even provoking these people since you have this capacity, which is something they lack. Don't you think that people believing you are qualifying for the first resurrection would arouse murderous envy. Why have you not experienced this? Which one of us is the 'weirdo?'

Anonymous said...

BB. In the biblical account of Sodom and Gomorrah, the gays didn't just want 'equal treatment.' Rather they tried to rape the two angels. Today we have this in milder form with the militant gays trying to shove their life style down childrens throats. They are doing this mainly through the education system, and media brain washing. They are even persecuting Christians who condemn this sin. So much for tolerance. God has allowed them their hour in the sun, and they are running riot. They have become a 'vindictive monster' as one Catholic writer put it.

Curiouser and curiouser it gets!

First, Anon at February 2, 6:16 AM claimed that "countless people", including "people in the COG churches" have wanted to fight him physically because of his Christian beliefs.

I suggested to him, "Perhaps a milder approach would be in order when discussing your beliefs with others?"

Then he responds, "I never discussed my beliefs with so much as one of these people.", and insinuates that because he's "qualifying for the first resurrection", he's "aroused murderous envy" among the COGers.

OH MY!!! I've heard of crazy people "on the edge" like this, but didn't realize til now he is one of them.

So, he's happy that gays are murdered, and has delusions regarding others' reactions to his beliefs.

This is so sick and horribly beyond the pale.
I'm afraid of what may happen if this person doesn't get good psychological help.

Byker Bob said...

The basic problem is that we know nothing of the one who feels that he is being persecuted, or his role in his own community. He may live somewhere where people are extremely intolerant, an area where an opposing or competing religion is dominant. Some of our posters here who are atheist have mentioned being on the wrong side of the spectrum living in the Bible Belt, and have felt marginalized or persecuted. So, the role is totally capable of being reversed no matter who or what you are. Just being different often opens the door.

In many cases, here in the USA, the people who are threatened for being Christian are the ones who are socially inept, those who wear their Christianity on their shirt sleeves, or even people who insist on being pricks about their Christianity. The general populace has become accustomed to tolerating Evangelicals, Jehovah's Witnesses, and numerous people in bizarre cults, so long as they don't attempt to mold and shape everything in their own favor, to make everyone else change, or to demand special accommodations.

Maybe we could help troubleshoot the causes of the persecution, and offer the person some effective solutions if we were to know a bit more about the nature of the circumstances. Of course, if anonymous ends up actually being James Malm, Bob Thiel, or someone with a personality or social problems similar to theirs, then there is no solution, and the persecution and death threats are all but inevitable.

Here is more from PCG's Joel Hilliker.

It should be mentioned that HIV/AIDS come from the Congo, specifically from a disease that afflicted one species of chimpanzee (Pan troglodytes troglodytes). The first infection appears to have occurred around the 1920s. But despite these facts Hilliker wants his readers to think otherwise.

"About that time, however, the homosexual community suffered what seemed to be a deadly blow. In 1981, medical researchers first reported on the health-wrecking symptoms now known as AIDS. Originally called GRID— gay-related immuno deficiency disease—this fatal illness spread with particular force amid promiscuous homosexual men. Activists convinced the medical establishment to change the name to the more politically correct “acquired immune deficiency syndrome.” Even so, the spread of AIDS intensified the public stigma against homosexuality." (Joel Hilliker, The War on Marriage, 2014, p. 6.)

What does he mean saying it seemed a deadly blow? Many in fact did die. Chilling.

To the person who said I should "Go live in a zoo with all the other animals.",

You are correct in saying you didn't use the words "countless people" when describing the number of people who have wanted to get into physical altercations with you.
(Your actual words were, "I have lost count of the number of times that people have tried to start a physical fight with me..."
I paraphrased. Yet, you complained I was nick picking.)

BTW, I did not say that you'd used the phrase, "discussing your beliefs with others."
Clearly, I had earlier said, "Perhaps a milder approach would be in order when discussing your beliefs with others?", and later quoted what I had earlier advised.

Although Byker Bob generously suggested you may live in a place where so many people want to physically attack you because of your Christian beliefs, I can hardly imagine such a place in the USA unless, #1)You are acting like a total jerk(and some of your statements seem to provide such evidence), or, #2) You are located in a Scientology RPF prison compound and keep telling everyone that Herbie is way better than L Ron.

Your sentiments both alarm and sadden me, so I will reiterate my earlier thought for you-

"Perhaps a milder approach would be in order when discussing your beliefs with others?"

And by all means, if you feel that you are indeed in an unfair place where people are "making murderous attempts on [your] life", "because of [your] Christian beliefs", please share more about that. Maybe you'll find feedback here that's helpful.

The truth is, there are many people with good hearts and the best of intentions, here.

I can think of about half a dozen scenarios under which what the persecuted one is reporting could be true, and with no real fault of his or her own. The thing is, without more specifics, we can't really know what could be causing all of the negative attention, we can only guess. If the post was a cry for help, some group brainstorming, troubleshooting and role playing might be of help, regardless as to the beliefs or non beliefs of those who could offer suggestions. It might make for some good safe lab testing, if handled civilly. That is, if someone is looking for possible solutions.

10.27PM. When I was a WWCOG member, I found just about every member, including the ministers had your attitude. People would snear if I referred to my rights. But the attitude wasn't really 'rights are dead,' but rather 'I have all rights and you have no rights. And you better religiously respect my rights, or else.' This is a psychopathic trait, and as old as mankind. The COGs churches have always given in to this attitude to please their largely lower working class membership. It pleases the members, but is stench in Gods eyes. For the record, rights is 'don't steal' in fine detail. 'Don't steal' in the WOGs has a narrow, Pharisaic definition.
Whilst I'm here, I have a right to chose my own beliefs, not to be robbed, not to be lied to, not to be murdered and a right to be left alone by tyrannical church thugs, especially Mafia ministers, etc. 'Rights are dead' is lawlessness. Thanks for your honesty 10.27PM, It's refreshing.

4:12, I did some more thinking upon this, and am convinced that some teacher has laid a false blueprint on you. Cain and Abel are an example of a couple of possible personality types. Their story is not an indication that all of humanity is divided up in such a way that most of the people are Cain types and a small number are Abel types. Except for some predators, humans are not either 100% good, or 100% evil. People are a curious mixture of both good and evil. If we expect them to behave in an evil way towards us because we are Abel and they are Cain, then frequently they will oblige us.

Try this. Each of us have skill sets and unique personalities which would allow us to be a blessing to others, to have an impact for good in their lives. In so many cases, we can appeal to the good part in them, through a sincere smile, encouragement, or doing more for them than expected. Even thieves appreciate honesty, and people attempting to look out for their best interests. If you get up each morning asking yourself "In a fallen world, how can I be a blessing to people today, to influence things for good?" pretty soon you can get a positive flow going, and it all starts flowing back to you. And, I don't mean doing it to get in a commercial for God, I mean just do it in such a way that people know that good things are gong to be coming from your direction. That way, they start to look forward to seeing you! What we see unfolding around us can in some cases be an exercise in seeing our own reflections coming back at us. It actually works, whether you smile and hold the door open for someone most folks would ignore, or actually giving one of the homeless some spare change. Smiles, and random acts of kindness. There is no reason why we should allow the heaviness of others to affect our personalities or the joy of life. Sidestep that whole equation, and get past it to the good stuff!

Works for me!

BB. I suggest you read the many Psalms of king David. Multiple times he mentions people conspiring to take his life. These people were like Arnies Terminator. They could not be bought off with smiles and friendliness. You seem to have a problem acknowledging the existence of evil.

I think I will vote for ISIS.

Part of that can be explained by II Sam. 12:10.

Most of the people who are pure evil in our current era are incarcerated, at least in the civilized world. And don't tell me I have a problem acknowledging the existence of evil. You have no idea the kinds of people I've hung out with over the course of my life. There was even a "hit" out on me at one point. Even so, my daily life was never as extreme as what you have shared about yours, not even as a teenager growing up in WCG enduring "child-rearing, God's way."

Do you think of all of this evil you see as some kind of personal validation for a Godly lifestyle? Why does evil need to follow you around? What happened to blessings, as in "surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life, for thou art with me"? ~David

I wrote;-

"I always try to hesitate in criticizing others but surely these are the outpourings of a very sick mind!"

That being said I accept that the concept is a biblical one. However it is not up to man nor his elected representatives ie. "THE GOVERNMENT" to execute such judgement. I believe it is up to, or the responsibility of, "the Government' of Yehovah to attend to such matters. I also believe this is being done by the advent of the HIV and full blown AIDS together with the new Zika virus which I have read, apart from mosquito bite, can be spread by sexual contact. So, beware!

Ralph,

Could you please clarify if in your opinion HIV and Zika are:
a) results from a lifestyle god warned against since a creator would know its creation best
b) the active and current execution from God of people as a punishment for not adhering

Thank you,

BB In all my workplaces, I stood out like a sore thumb. The reason was that just about everyone around me had a noticeably evil twisted mind, and I didn't. Plus using the parable of the talents, nature has given me more than most. I frequently invoke a Cain reaction. A common mistake people make in trying to understanding others, is to use themselves as a reference. People assume others are like themselves. This blinds them to what other people are really like. This is why people fail to discern the existence of psychopaths and their ploys. I suggest you ignore assuming that others are like yourself. I found that only by reading about difficult people, can you get some idea about what these people are really like. It's too difficult trying to do it yourself.

I feel like I should apologize to you.
However from the scarce information you shared so far you could either be:

-A social worker in LA South Central district (in the eighties)
-A risk manager at Morgan Stanley
-The coffee guy at Abhu Graib.

I feel I should apologize and still you sound ridiculous because of the scant information.

Opinion?
a) YES
b) In all probability.

Consider:- "Lev 26:21 And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.
Lev 26:22 I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your high ways shall be desolate."

Who would have thought of the 'tiny' mosquito as a 'beast'? Yet the article "FOUND HERE" provides what I consider to be a credible discourse on the matter.

1:09, I have collected people with unusual talents and personalities, and have incorporated them into my territory. In some cases, I've watched as even some with MENSA level intelligence appear to be magnets for damaging events and occurrences. I am part of their lives and business plans because they trust that the decisions I make that relate to them are based on moral values, and not on self-enrichment. Not to brag, but many of these people have told me that when they see me walk into their front doors, they instinctively know that something positive is going to happen. Most of my business comes to me through referral. And that is my daily reality.

Having said all that, I found out early on that I could not function and accomplish the things that I felt I needed to do within a corporate environment. Could not handle the politics, and would not tolerate the screwing over of the little guy. I am an outlaw that way. It is beginning to sound as if that may be the environment in which you find yourself. What I was forced into doing was taking what I had learned from the corporate world, starting my own company, and with better control, set a good tone to which good people from a wide variety of backgrounds responded very positively.

I'd really try to get past your Cain and Abel model, though, if you could. In so many cases, if you presume goodness, and consistently appeal to the good portion of peoples' nature, they will behave differently towards you. Being able to relate to people both up and down the scale, with proper respect, also helps. This is a challenge sometimes with people who like to intimidate, or who are just extremely negative by nature, but, with time, even they can be made to realize that you are looking out for their best interests.

I've probably said too much already, because I really know very little about you, or your specific circumstances. I once took a personnel administration course as part of a local college's business program, and it totally changed my life. My son is also an entrepreneur, and he took an awesome course in conflict resolution. Life really doesn't need to be as you have described it, especially for a Christian. It can always be made at least a little less bad. No offense intended or implied in any way. Best wishes with your challenges, and I hope there was at least one nugget in there that may help.
