We are heading into the 9th decade of these stinking turds piling their legalistic dreamed-up messages on the rotting and decaying body of what is left of the church. COG members lives have been ripped to pieces by these frauds. Lives have literally been lost because of these vile deceivers and yet they will NOT shut up! Each one sees themselves as the "last hope" for the church.
James Malm writes:
I am calling on all of these organizations to observe God’s Feasts and all of God’s Word in a wholehearted way.
A new post is coming at this site for Pentecost on how to know if we are following God’s Spirit or a false spirit.
It is wrong to remain knowingly associating with the sinful and think that we are trying to please God (1 Cor 5:11, 2 Thess 3:6).
2 Thess 3:6 Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition [doctrines of Holy Scripture] which he received of us.
Associating with the unclean makes the clean unclean (Haggai 2:10-14), we need to leave spiritually unclean organizations when they justify their sins and we are certain of the facts, we need and to go where we can please God even if that means standing alone as very many are now doing. Through history very many have learned that standing with God you are never alone.
Even now many individuals and small groups are keeping God’s Festivals in a godly manner and this trend will grow. In spite of most people being at corporate groups TheShiningLight gets about 1200 daily visits to our Festivals presentations.
The time is coming very soon, perhaps within two or three years, when God’s servants will call the brethren to abandon the apostate groups which refuse to turn to God, and to come together in a new God fearing Assembly and leave for God’s prepared place.
Then those Babylonianized groups which place men as binding and loosing God’s Word between God and the brethren, will be cast into the tribulation of great correction; as it is written: Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
Then those who insist on remaining with these apostate groups who refuse to turn to God will be cast into great correction with them. JamesIf you take your Bible literally, as these stinking false prophets claim they do, then you need to heed these very specific words from Jesus about them. Sadly, the self-appointed COG prophets do not care about these verses. They've already spent their lifetime ignoring Jesus, so why start now.
Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them. Matthew 7:15–20
“Take heed that no one deceives you. Many false prophets will rise up and deceive many” (Matt. 24:4, 11).
The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. 2 Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. (1 Timothy 4:1-2)
False Teachers and Their Destruction
But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves. 2 Many will follow their depraved conduct and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. 3 In their greed these teachers will exploit you with fabricated stories. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping. (2 Peter 2:1-3)
On Denying the Incarnation
Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. (1 John 4:1)
The Sin and Doom of Ungodly People
Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt compelled to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to God’s holy people. 4 For certain individuals whose condemnation was written about[a] long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord. (Jude 3-4)

People need to learn to THINK FOR THEMSELVES and NOT follow a CONFUSED REBEL like James D. Malm.
I suppose those in Jim Jones's cult who escaped the massacre in Jonestown would prefer to be called, "Babylonianized", rather than "dead cult victim", and I hope the same for those who believe James Malm's cultic garbage.
James Malm is jumping the gun. There is much he is not aware of.
Many brethren amongst the COG organisations are waiting on God. They are not happy at the spilts and injustice. You can practically smell it in the air at the huge Feasts.
They wait for God to act. They are not waiting for poor impersonations of humans like HWA 2nd or GTA2. Mere men.
But God Himself.
They listen, they hear but they wait. They are waiting like many before them over the centuries.
The wolves circle and invade the church and destroy from within but true believers are trusting on God and waiting.

Where are there any huge feasts?
I would not follow Malm if he was the last person left in the COG movement. He is a total ass. I knew him from years ago. Same kind of self-righteous jerk Thiel is.
Unless Malm uses the magic numbers of 7, 12, 19, 49, and 2520, I would ignore him.
Years ago, someone got hung up on the number 8 and wrote a big dissertation on how 8 appeared all over the place.
I have to confess my favorite number is 42.

Herbert used to tell the lie "3 to 5" or "5, certainly less than 10." He lied like that on a rolling basis for 50 years. Why not? People kept sending him money to do it.
Since then, his worshipers have been doing "The time is now shorter than when we first believed," or in other words, "Ditto what Herbert said."
For the last 10 years Malm has been doing this, "18 to 24 months" or "2 to 3 years" thing also on a rolling basis. Have any of the other prophets had the sheer chutzpah to compress the forgetfulness of their followers to this degree?
Make no mistake about it, this is pure and unadulterated fearmongering. They're all saying "Follow ME! Send your money to ME! OR ELSE!!!"
And then when you call Malm on it, what does he do, repent? Bwahahahah! Naw, he says, "But, but, but...I gave myself an out! I used words like 'probably.'" (Upon what basis can anyone claim that something which has never happened before is "probable"?)
Malm is a liar, just like the rest of them. Right now he wants you to think he's getting divine tips directly from the deity when he says "In 2 to 3 years." But in 2 to 3 years, when time has proven him wrong (again!) he's hoping you'll have forgotten, but if you do remember, he'll pretend like he never wanted you to think he was channeling the deity after all. Yet he'll turn right around and issue another prophecy immediately after that, again threatening you with Armageddon if you don't, at the equivalent of the point of a gun, again pretending that he knows something you don't because of personal divine revelation.
But he doesn't know anything that you or I don't. Neither did Herbert, Theil, Meredith, UCG and their "sure word of prophecy," or any of the "THAT prophets". They're all just liars. They know that if they keep telling this lie, people will keep sending them money. And as long as they do keep sending the money, these guys will keep lying. That's the bottom line.
There's a history of people being taken in by the "few years left" mantra. This resulted in these people putting off education, marriage, medical treatment and other major blunders. Significant harm was the result. While his victims suffered, HWA lived in a mansion, used gold and silver dinnerware, travelled in his fleet of jets, and stayed in 5 stars hotels.
God says that His ways are perfect. Where was the perfection in these supposedly motivating dates???

Tbh Idk wth happens when we die. Idk whether NDEs are proof that before we go to “sleep” (unconscious, brain dead, heart dead, etc) God gives a hint of whether we’re to be rewarded or punished in the future. But, I remember reading on Painful Truth site I think it was (but can’t find it) a story of some patient who supposedly channeled someone soon after the death of HWA and in their outburst they cried something like “I’m Herbert W. Armstrong! I’m in hell! Help me!” Idk if this is true or not, but it makes me wonder...
The Bible, regarding pleasing God, says:
Romans 8:8 "So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God."
Hebrews 11:6 "But without faith it is impossible to please him..."
And what does James Malm say? He says: "...It is wrong to remain knowingly associating with the sinful and think that we are trying to please God (1 Cor 5:11 , 2 Thess 3:6 )...we need and to go where we can please God even if that means standing alone as very many are now doing. Through history very many have learned that standing with God you are never alone.

Are James Malm and the "growing trend" of Malm, other individuals and small groups really pleasing God when they (one for example) make all 7 days of the Feast of Tabernacles holy convocations for each of those 7 days?
God said the following:
Lev 23:34 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD.
:35 On the first day shall be an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
During that 7 day period, there can, at most, be only 2 holy convocations depending on where the weekly Sabbath falls during that period.
To my knowledge, James continues observing all 7 days as holy convocations. So, how does that please God? One United member told me, "It's okay to do more than God commands us to do." Well, if true, then why not make every day a Sabbath day? JWs try to tell us that every day is a Sabbath. Duh!
James invents a new phrase "great correction" and used it as follows:
"...Then those Babylonianized groups...will be cast into the tribulation of great correction; as it is written: Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
Then those who insist on remaining with these apostate groups who refuse to turn to God will be cast into great correction with them...."
What's the big deal there? For one thing, Rev 18:4 is speaking about a time AFTER the Mickey Mouse Millennium (MMM) Malm also believes in, but those Vials/Plagues aren't poured out until AFTER Satan is loosed from the bottomless pit! Does it please God to believe in such "Junk Food?" The timing is way out of sync with God has planned.
And then there is that "great correction" of Fear Religion Malm strives to scare us about. Where did that come from? Does that thinking please God? Just how faithful is James Malm to the scriptures, b/c it seems like he, like other xcog leaders, likes to do it his way and make up his own things.
So, if Malm thinks that God's thoughts and ways match up with his own, then Malm is going to have a very long wait, and he might as well join up and hold hands with those still looking that "probable, soon to appear," 10 kings/nations of Rev 17:12.
Time will tell...

I distinctly remember reading on this site a few months ago where a former member working as a
nurse in a mental health institution said that one day a patient with NO connection to HWA or
WWCG suddenly shouted "I'm Herbert W. Armstrong. I'm going to hell!"..don't remember seeing or
reading any followup on that. make of that what you will....something to think about???
