COG Prophet Claims Catholic "Prophecies" Are About Him And His Books

It is another sunny day in Grover Beach California and the heat is getting to the brain of our glorious Bwana Bob Theil, the savior of Africa and 299 Caucasians, the end-time Elijah, the modern-day Johsua, the prophet to end all prophets, one of the two witless witnesses, world-renown historian and theologian and bitter neglected rejected "stepson" of Rod Meredith.

Today, the closet Catholic is all atwitter over how supposedly certain Catholic "prophecies" describe him and his end-time "work".

While I do not believe that the sex scandals facing the Church of Rome are the ‘final trial’ before Jesus returns (e.g. since the Great Tribulation has not yet began), these scandals, which have been in the news for the past several years, may be consistent with certain Roman Catholic predictions.

The Roman Catholics have a couple of prophecies about their church facing scandals:

Ven. Holzhauser (17th century): The Great Monarch will come when the Latin Church is desolated, humiliated, and afflicted with many heresies (Dupont Y. Catholic Prophecy: The Coming Chastisement. TAN Books, Rockford (IL), 1973, p. 114).

Nicholas of Fluh (15th century): The Church will be punished because the majority of her members, high and low, will become so perverted. (Dupont, p. 30)

We have seen that many perverted have been associated with the Church of Rome–one cleric has claimed that 2/3 of priests have broken their celibacy vows–see ‘Pope adviser urges rethink on Catholic celibacy’ Two-thirds of Catholic priests reportedly are NOT celibate(see also AP: More than 220 people sue on Guam alleging clergy sex abuse and NCR: In new letter, Benedict blames clergy abuse on sexual revolution, Vatican II theology; RN: Is Benedict XVI the REAL pope? and Pope reportedly considering allowing priests to marry at Amazon Synod; AP reports 1700 Catholic priests suspected of sex abuse are still out there). Here is one from this Summer: Another scandal: Roman Catholic priests outed for using homosexual app. These pedophile and other sex scandals have humiliated the Church of Rome (“the Latin Church”).

So, if the first prediction above is correct, then we are very near the time that the “Great Monarch” will rise up. I believe he will do so this century, and likely within a decade or so.

To Bwana Bob, this Monarch is the end-time Beast who will persecute the one true small flock (the improperly named "continuing" Church of God).

How will this Monarch know who to persecute in the COG movement above all others? It will be the COG that is publishing small books! Who woulda thunk it! Amazing!

One guess as to WHO that small book publishing church is...

Notice also the following Roman Catholic warnings:

Nursing Nun of Bellay (died 1820): “All these things shall come to pass once the wicked have succeeded in circulating large numbers of bad books.” (Dupont, p.51)

Trappistine Nun of Notre Dame des Gardes. “Chastisement will come when a very large number of bad books have been spread” (Dupont, p 114).

Abbe Voclin. “People will speak only of money. Horrible books will be freely available. Intellectuals will argue fiercely among themselves. Then war will break out that will see the rise of the Great Monarch” (Dupont, p. 114).

We in the CCOG will likely make more books/booklets that will be perceived to fulfill the above. Furthermore, several of our existing materials may be considered to be in that category. Here are links to some books, articles, and videos that document the truth about various aspects of Christianity and church history:

Bwana Bob has become quite adept at pulling things out of his ass and making them "sure words of truth".

Why would the Catholic church or some European Monarch care what some idiotic mentally disturbed little man in crazy California thinks?

The end times beast is not a man.

It’s like Godzilla rising up out of Tokyo Bay.

It is the G7 and the Club of Rome’s ten divisions of the planet, and will be lead by the King of the North, the little horn of Dan 7.

Thiel is trying to create a mutant combination of Catholicism and COGism , in a very strange witches brew.

As time goes on, it is getting tougher and tougher to decide who is the whackiest -- Thiel , Pack or Flurry.

No doubt that Flurry has the largest following and financial support, Pack has the biggest ego , but Thiel definitely has the most
delusions of grandeur.

If there was a cult "Hall of Fame" , they would all be first ballot nominees and entrants, joining already enshrined Weinland.

Can't you people understand? Pope Francis has watched several of Bob's cartoon animations, and he's shaking in his papal slippers!

Yes, Catholic prophecies aren't talking about him.

The RCC has been around since the time of Paul, and has extensive records of its activities and communal thoughts spanning over a period of thousands of years. It would be surprising if someone like a Bob Theil could not find some tidbits within all of those archives to cherry pick in a way that would appear to substantiate his existence and activities. All that is required is a proclivity to research, a vivid imagination, and a dash of ego mixed with a sprinkling of delusion.

Bob's aura is of a nature that rather than drawing people to him, it repels them. His ego, know it all attitude, and the self pity he exudes because nobody takes him seriously overshrouds all of his activities. This is the outward shell that everyone sees, as opposed to whatever message he is attempting to put across. It is a shell that repels.

Bob, could you, just once, think about, meditate on, this: 1 Corinthians 8:2 And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know. Galatians 6:3 For if anyone thinks that he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.

I have never seen anyone who sets themselves up to be humiliated like Bob does. I used to think Pack and Flurry were crazy, but Bob is now surpassing them.

WHAT ABOUT THE TRUTH said...

A false prophet quoting false prophets to establish a true prophecy?

So Bob interprets that the Monarch comes when there is sexual perversion WITHIN the universal church, but the "bad books" are from OUTSIDE the organization.

Bob needs to go back and study the great prophet Herbert W. Armstrong who in one of his last articles on the history of the church expounded upon his fear that someone closely aligned to the teachings of the WCG would come into the the organization to pervert the truth. He said if this were to happen in his frailty, that he/we would just go right across the street and start all over again.

So Bob, if anyone comes and takes away all of your "bad books" - I hope you have your eyes firmly trained upon your neighbor's house across the street.

Remove the name "Bob" and this is more or less how HWA viewed Rod Meredith.

Reminds me of Carley Simon's hit "Your so vain". Brethren, please take your song books and rise. Please turn to "You're so vain" and let's all sing together:

Bob Thiel, you son of a gun
You walked into Living Church
Like you were GTA walking onto a stage
Your tin foil hat strategically dipped below one eye
Your Bible it was apricot
You had one eye in the mirror
As you watched yourself gavotte
And all the Church dreamed that you'd be their prophet, you'd be their prophet

You're so vain, you probably think this prophecy is about you.
You're so vain
You probably think this prophecy is about you
Don't you! Don't You

You had us several decades ago, when Living Church was quite naive
When you said that we made such a pretty pair
And that you would never leave!
But you gave away the things you loved and one of them was us
I had some dreams, they were cartoons in my coffee
Cartoon Bobs in my coffee, and...

You're so vain, you probably think this prophecy is about you
You're so vain, I'll bet you think this prophecy is about you
Don't you? Don't you? Don't you?

Jumping ahead to Bob's latest sermon he is again stirring up Catholics, this time over the origin of Halloween.

And I think this is the first time I heard Bob say:
1. Don't believe me
2. Check the sources

Okay Bob, number 1, for most of Banned contributors, is a no brainer.
Number 2, yes, for one, I find some of your sources very interesting and in some cases find them to convey a different meaning than you draw from them. A few examples are Aramaic scriptures, block chain, crowd sourcing, Walter Bauer, ... and of course various scriptures.

As a Catholic?, I find Bobo's belief's that he's mentioned in Catholic prophecies to be very amusing. With the exception of some Biblical prophecies about the second coming and the end of the world, all of these other prophecies are actually the interpretations of certain Catholic writers. None of them are required to be articles of faith for Catholics. Some do believe them, but others can disregard them without censor.

FYI ... Another thing Bob didn't see coming: Strike 1!

But knew the limitations on what he was permitted to upload to his YouTube channel, and has expressed his dissatisfaction with media "censorship". So, I think he should have foreseen this coming one day...

Fair go, Hoss, Bob did have a Plan B, BitChute, although that's like moving a show from prime time to 4 AM. He could have watched what he said to not offend the YouTube language police, but he makes stuff up as he goes along instead of following a script, and there's no post-production editing. Yeah, he probably got what he deserved.
