God is an amazing dude! He inspired our most highly favored Great Bwana Bob Mzungu Thiel to pick Galveston, Texas as the site of his Feast of Tabernacles for 2024. Who said that miracles never happen anymore!
Galveston was where the US Government enforced the ending of slavery in Texas. Since Bob Thiel is the greatest prophet the church has ever seen and the Feast of Tabernacles portrays the millennium, it is only logical that the two greatest things in the church can be tied in with the emancipation of slaves in Texas.
U.S. President Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation in 1863, a declaration following the end of the Civil War that legally freed more than three million enslaved Blacks in Confederate States. But not all slaves were free because the proclamation could not be implemented in parts of the southern United States.
To enforce the proclamation, Union Army Major General Gordon Granger marched into Galveston, Texas, on June 19, 1865, to issue the “General Order Number 3,” which ended the enslavement of Blacks in Texas. The mandate freed an estimated 250,000 slaves two-and-half years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed.
“White Texans knew the Civil War was [over] and slavery was banned, but they didn’t tell their slaves the war was over for years [in order] to continue to get free labor out of them,” said Holland. “Juneteenth is when the lie ended and federal forces showed up to enforce the new federal law saying slavery was illegal in the United States.”
While Juneteenth is celebrated as the end of slavery, the practice of involuntary servitude continued briefly in the states of Delaware and Kentucky. On December 6, 1865, ratification of the Thirteenth Amendment to the Constitution abolished slavery in the United States. US Observes Juneteenth National Holiday
The Great Self-appointed Prophet to the Church of God, the Great Bwana to Africa had this to say
Racial discrimination is a problem in many societies.
Liberation from oppression is a good thing.
Whether an additional holiday will help is a matter of debate. The real solution is the Kingdom of God.
Notice that Juneteenth occurred in Galveston, Texas. As it turns out, that is the city that the Continuing Church of God has a contract with to have the Feast of Tabernacles (which portrays the millennial kingdom of God) in 2024.
Jesus came to proclaim that liberty:
1 “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me,Because the Lord has anointed MeTo preach good tidings to the poor;He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,To proclaim liberty to the captives,And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord,And the day of vengeance of our God;To comfort all who mourn, (Isaiah 61:1-2)
God has a plan which will result in people of every nation and race being saved:
9…I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, 10 and crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” (Revelation 7:9-10)
God has a plan where people of every nation will be able to rule:
9…You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your bloodOut of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,10 And have made us kings and priests to our God;And we shall reign on the earth. (Revelation 5:9-10)
God has a plan where “all flesh shall see the salvation of God” (Luke 3:6):
21 And it shall come to passThat whoever calls on the name of the LordShall be saved. (Acts 2:21)
1 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away” (Revelation 21:1-4).
God has a fantastic plan.
Yes, God does. Thankfully it does not involve Bob Thiel in this as some significant personality in the kingdom, nor even leading people to a place of final training before that kingdom arrives.
Galveston might want to rethink having the improperly named "continuing" Church of "god" holding their little convention there. Since we have all been conditioned by COG propaganda to expect Satan to be angry at Feast sites, Galveston unwittingly opened itself up for some dangerous hurricane activity.

Bob can suck my big black toe! Until he refutes British Israelism and its racist content he is in no way setting the captives free. The fact that he calls himself the Chief Overseer of his black African members shows us his inherent racist overtones. Bob would be content living on a southern plantation with slaves catering to his every whim.
Galveston won't even notice Bob and the 20-30 Caucasians who will join him at his "Feast site" (which will be smaller than most weddings/receptions/MLM seminars being held in Galveston while CCOG is there).
And we can be sure that attendance at Galveston's annual ARToberFEST will dwarf Bob's gathering. Gone are the days when an ACOG can descend on a mid-sized American city and dominate its tourism for a week.
Bob is no more than a pimple on satans butt. Insignificant
Let's continue to proclaim liberty for the thousands of folks still enslaved in one of the Armstrong Churches of God!
I've had so many white coworkers saying dumb shit to me about Juneteenth this week. You'd think their lives were ending over it or something. Jesus, people, some folks want to get together and season some food and be glad they're free! Shut up already!
UCG had a Feast site in Galveston several times in recent years - including last year. So maybe it's not as significant as some think.
Galveston's worst hurricane occurred in September 1900 - well before the "Armstrong era" came along. What sort of "sin" might have been behind that is open to discussion.
My own style in learning about customs is to read what those whose customs are involved have written about them themselves, RSK. The Blues community, including white folks who enjoy that genre (myself amongst them), has embraced Juneteenth for decades. Venues which specialize in live Blues music often have a cookout going on in the parking lot to add to the celebration.
I'm wondering if these people with their dumb remarks were being deliberately condescending, perhaps angry at multiculturalism, or just plain ignorant. Not too many years ago, we as a society were much more tolerant and understanding. Unfortunately, the assholes amongst us have recently been encouraged to quit practicing self-restraint.
Eh, the Emancipation Proclamation did not apply to Union territory, only to the CSA. Even New Orleans was exempt (because the Union took control early on). It's just another "celebration" used to pander to a segment of the population and further divide the USA.
What you just stated in your first sentence, 5:26, was published in an expose article by two Black college professors in Ebony Magazine back in the 1980s.
This is why Critical Race Theory is so important. There are facts which have been downplayed and suppressed, and need to be exposed. Very powerful people want these facts to remain suppressed and preach that if you acknowledge them as true, and actually correct history, you are not patriotic. Getting things right is not pandering, it is getting everyone on the same page, which ends up facillitating unity. It's actually the suppressors who are breeding mistrust and perpetuating divisiveness.
Al Unser & Parnelli Jones always used Critical Race Theory as far as I can tell.
Agreed, 7:29. And finally, we have diversity in NASCAR, NHRA, and Indycar. Isn't it wonderful?
The emancipation proclamation of I863 was before rather than at the end of the civil war. The civil war "ended" on 9th April 1865 when Robert E Lee surrendered his troops to Ulysses S. Grant. Abraham Lincoln was murdered 6 days later. But it was formerly ended 16 months later on August 1866.
The Constitution of the CSA outlawed international slave trade. The Constitution of the USA did not.
Also, Lincoln was planning to deport the slaves. He stated that he did not think the two peoples could live in harmony because they were too different. Unfortunately, it seems he was correct. (yes, there are some black folks that have adopted "white man's culture" and are great American citizens, but they are the exception...the dominant mindset is to resist and live what is basically a lawless life)
Yes 12:16, race theory in race! or is it, race theory in race...
I liked what Dr. Condoleeza Rice
had to say. She never trashed the USA, instead choosing to say that we were born with a couple of birth defects. That is an amazingly forgiving way of addressing our history!
Ms. Rice's clever statement may also have meant to blanket-cover many events like what happened to Native Am. & Trail Of Tears.
Uh, no, that is NOT our dominant mindset, you stupid piece of shit. Most of us are out here working like everyone else.
Jeez, 4:37! Were you at "Unite the Right" in Charlottesville?
I had no idea people like you still existed until that event and the accolades 45 threw your way!
