Dave Pack: Abib 1 Is Immutable Settled Church Doctrine

I assume Dave thinks Abib 1 is the first day of another year. But: feast of tabernacles is at the end of the year (and the beginning of the next year) - Ex 23:16; 34:22; Deut 31:10. So what about Ex 12:2? The meaning appears to be.....this month shall be unto you the chief (YLT) of months: it shall be the most important month of the year to you.

Yes, it's possible! To count months differently than years: years counted from FOT to FOT (Exactly what day is the last day of the year????), and months counted from Abib. Years can be counted several ways, such as from your birthday.

The clown picture is so much of an improvement on Dave's personal appearance. My positive takeaway is that if he appeared that way everytime he left the house, it would not affect his credibility one iota!

I can safely prophecy that Davey will backtrack with a new and more important date that they all should see is plainly evident with new understanding.. I think Pentecost is the next return date.. odds are at +100

Did he say a ONE week kingdom? How many kingdoms is he preaching now?

I wonder what goes through the minds of his remaining members when they hear these endless new dates of Christ's return.

They have a mind?

Something like, "It's worth putting up with all this stuff that doesn't make sense, because when it's over I get to be God as God is God, and I'll be better than all the poor losers who decided to trust their own minds."

For many, I imagine, it would be too painful to even entertain the idea that they might have been wrong to lead their family into a group. Their membership robbed them of wealth, future plans, health and in some cases, even life itself by their avoidance of medical care. Who could live with that? Besides that, where else would they go? Change is difficult enough for many of us. It would be less painful to just hold on until the end.

It sounds like he is trying to force God to do what he is telling people God will do.

A good psychiatrist should find many things wrong with Pack, back in the old days he would have been put in a mental asylum.

I commented on a different stream about him that I have history with this group but he seems like a schizophrenic. In the clips on that post he said that some of the “ideas didn’t happen” about some of his declarations that he had made. Ideas that aren’t real sounds like schizophrenia. He reminds me of a person you see out in public who starts saying crazy stuff to you, except in this case he runs a church and has a following. Sad! It’s not a bad thing that people want to follow the Bible and find a church, but this is not the one. I also saw a clip where he compared the incident where someone shot at Donald Trump but he didn’t die to a situation where he was in a near car accident!!! That’s either arrogant or schizophrenic! I personally do believe that some people have stories of near death experiences where they want to credit God for saving them, but he was making himself out to be ultra important by one-upping the Trump-Bullet story.
