The pressure is on, guys! You better get "qualifying" and work, work, work! Otherwise, you will be disqualified and will NOT be given a world to rule over!
This crap below demonstrates what happens when a church doesn't teach grace, justification, and sanctification and instead labels all of these as excuses to sin.
For one to enter the kingdom of God one must qualify! Just like Jesus Christ had to qualify! We must qualify before God can trust us to run & rule his universe and his kingdom.
The same as when we are called it into God's Church we must prove to God upon repentance of turning from our own selfish way and walking and living God's way of life! In repenting we are qualifying! Qualifying to receive the Holy Spirit! For the terms for receiving the Holy Spirit is to repent and to believe. If we do not repent through the action of turning around and no longer walking our own way but now walking according to God's way, the Holy Spirit cannot dwell within us. Upon repentance then upon believing God's word you have been qualified yourself to be baptized and to receive the holy spirit of God!
So ask yourself this, are you turning to God and repenting of walking contrary to his way everyday?
One way we can disqualify ourselves is by not repenting! God's way is not our way! The natural mind as mr. Armstrong has taught is hostile to God's way of life! That is what the Bible teaches! So one way to disqualify ourselves is to go on thinking and walking in our own ways! According to what we think is right because we agreed with God. Simon magus believed the gospel. But he did not want to stop his own way to turn around and start obeying God! He did not want to repent!
What about you question mark what about me? Do we study God's word just to make us to feel good about ourselves? Or are we seeking to obey God and to walk in all his ways? Constantly repenting of any change of course? Are we daily qualifying so that God may give us the Holy Spirit everyday? Or is it just one day a week type of thing? You won't enter the kingdom of God will be in just a Saturday church goer! We must be qualifying and all the booklets and all the sermons and writings of God's chosen apostle and his church are there to help! What the worldwide Church of God preaches and teaches is a very Living Word of God! Those very words in your Bible are words of life and words of spirit as Christ has said. They are for us and for our learning.
The purpose of God's Ministry is to build up and to edify the Church of God. And that is being done by and through the holy spirit of God in the membership! If you attend some other church and listen to a minister that is not teaching exactly what Christ gave to the apostles then you will receive another spirit and another gospel and you will follow another Christ as Paul warns!
So are we qualifying? Are we repenting and turning to God without whole heart? Are we obeying God and all things? If you are led by the holy spirit daily God will lead you! And then you will be called the people of God and then you will be a part of the Church of God. Samuel Kitchen

I don't believe Sam is qualified to teach NT theology
It's not an apples to apples comparison, but in the work each of us does secularly, reputation is very important. It's always a matter of "what did you do for us the last time you came up to bat?" Consistent performers excel. The best bring in, or save their companies 2-3 times their gross wages.
I believe the problem with the type of qualifying as discussed lies in the fact that these ACOGs fancy themselves as members' employers, or even worse, as the gatekeepers. This, in spite of the fact that the members pay THEM! And, they ain't exactly gatekeepers, they behave more like trolls! Qualifying to them indicates compliance to them, and they utilize God and Jesus in to euphemize what they are really trying to say. The burdens asshats impose are anything but light if you are a member of an organization run by modern day Pharisees. It would be different if they were God's cheerleaders, but I'm sure we all know much better!

Jesus did not have to ‘qualify’. I think that can be placed in the category of “doctrine of demons”. Remember the term ‘Emanuel’? Pretty simple He did NOT come to keep the Law for everybody. Again, doctored of demons which has affected many of us.
My goodness.
Jesus was predestined from before the foundation of the world to come ………
Because we could not do it of ourselves. It is not to him who runs or works but from Him who shows mercy.
Qualifying? WT H*ll.
The book of Roman’s and many others attest to this.
What don’t you understand Mr Kitchen?
But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. Rom 7:6-7
Contrary to what Samuel claims, "God's chosen apostle" sent out at best conflicting messages on over coming. Herb on occasion taught that members must qualify for the kingdom, then condemned the idea of "pulling oneself up by the boot straps." Which is a contradiction. He also loved to give the example of 2 Chronicles 20 where God defeated the armies of Ammon and Moab without Israel going into battle. He gave this as an example of "God will fight your battles for you," so there's no need to resist bullies and stand up for our selves. But Herb hid that 2 Chronicles 20 occured because God had forbidden Israel from destroying Moab and Ammon when entering the promised land. Because a complication occured from obeying God, He personally dealt with the problem. But Herb hijacked this to teach passivity. It appears Herb wanted his members to overcome some, but not too much. Otherwise he and his minion ministers lose much control in a high control group.
There is more than one law. And what are the WORKS of the law?
Just more evidence that the bible does not make sense.
much like Herberts instructions followers must build the righteous character and if not they won't qualify
The Armstrongist Doctrine of Qualification
Qualification is a doctrine that is in name unique to Armstrongism. Though unique in name, it is not unique in concept. Its more common name is “salvation by works.” It is the idea that was promoted by the Circumcision Party and opposed vehemently by the Apostle Paul. The term “qualification” conceals that fact, whether intentionally or inadvertently, that salvation by works is being required for salvation.
Armstrongist Qualification works hand-in-glove with the wrong concept of repentance. In Armstrongism, repentance is an accumulation of works. So, the measure of your repentance is the measure of the works you have produced. If on the day of judgement, the measure of your works is inadequate, the judgement will be that you never repented and cannot be saved. These works are typically defined by the Law of Moses. Armstrongist Repentance is something that the believer self-generates. Works are an input to repentance and salvation.
In Christianity, repentance is a changed heart that leads to changed behavior. Salvation does not wait on the day of judgement but is granted by faith through grace in the lifetime of the believer. Your works only influence what rewards you will receive. Works do not qualify salvation but qualify the saved person’s reward level. Repentance is a gift. Works are an output of repentance and salvation.
I won’t go any further. This is Christianity 101. I admit that for Armstrongists it is a difficult course. I struggled with it. People who believe in salvation by works automatically get an F in that course. If you want to get really advanced with this, study the doctrine of the Vicarious Humanity of Christ.

In a sense you are correct and in a sense you are wrong. Your statement does not include enough information to really tell which side you are on. Jesus did keep the necessary behavioral standards for us. This is explained in the doctrine of the Vicarious Humanity of Christ. We do not then, as a result of the work of Jesus, become simply lawless. Instead, we “echo” the perfection of Jesus. If you have received salvation, you become a member of the family of God and seek to live by the standards of that family because Jesus is living in you. If Christ had not kept the “law” for you, you would never receive salvation. Any righteousness that you have is the imputed righteousness of Jesus. Armstrongists do a lot of arm-waving about "cheap grace" because HWA used that misunderstanding to oppose mainstream Christianity. I have read Christian theology for a couple of decades and I have yet to encounter any theologian who advocates "cheap grace."

Should there be "play-in" tasks for the Kingdom - like with the NBA?
Col. 1:12
. - giving thanks to the Father who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. (ESV) We can’t qualify ourselves, only God can qualify us through Jesus, through faith.
Scout, (Anonymous 1:52), I am not 'on a side' as such. Jesus did not come to keep the Law, because the Law was not written for a righteous man ---- who is more righteous than God? He did come and fulfill all things written about Him in the OT. Jesus did not need the Law to be righteous, He lived without sin because He was God in the flesh, and willingly laid down His life as a sacrifice for the sins of mankind. Nowhere is keeping the Law cited as a means for salvation, that glorious Law written in stone. Paul stated that the Law for us is to show us what sin is .... and sin was wrong before the Law was given and is still wrong. Righteousness that is imputed from Christ is much greater than "the Law" could ever be, rather it is a part of, or nature of, God! Of course we don't become lawless, and yes, in that sense we do echo the perfection of Jesus. That is why salvation/eternal life is a "gift". Sin is still wrong and should be avoided. Hopefully with Christ living IN us that can be achieved to a greater and greater extent. ALL glory goes to Jesus and the Father, and not because of the Law which even in the flesh, even being born under the Law, Jesus did not need for His righteous which applied to those chosen provides salvation.
The law we keep is to love the Lord God and to love others. So yes, Christians are not lawless.
The law of Moses served as a ministry of death. The law dictated wrath and not grace and mercy. The law of Moses is not the law of liberty.
7.12, repentance is a personal choice as John bought out. The gift is that God accepts the person's legitimate repentance. Fruits is a product of personal effort. When I attended services, there were church crazies that would explode in your face (narcissistic rage) if you complained about their abusive behavior. I keep thanking God that these will not be in His kingdom.
New King James Version (NKJV)
Matthew 3:1-12
"But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, “Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, and do not think to say to yourselves, 'We have Abraham as our father."
Who wants to be in the kingdom with a bunch of unqualified apes?

Sam you will not qualify to be in God's Kingdom, and Jesus did not qualify to be and do all that was accomplished in His life. Someone, wrote earlier above, that Jesus would not qualify.
God is working out His Plan of salvation to save all humanity, and subsequently take/destroy Satan and his angels of light. Done deal.
And to prove that what you wrote above was not sufficient enough, you wrote: "....We must be qualifying and all the booklets and all the sermons and writings of God's chosen apostle and his church are there to help!..."
What's with all those booklets-deal all about? Your booklets? Someone else's booklets.
Where is "your faith," when people speak about faith. God's faith is different.
Do you believe God's words regarding John the Baptist?
John 1:6
:7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all [men] through him might believe."
Do you believe that God has a plan to insure that all...might believe?
Belief come by way of God's Spirit (Ephesians 1:19
Does God need any of your booklets, or booklets of others?
Does the name Simeon "ring a bell?" John referred to Jesus, above, as a light. Did Simeon do that also?
We know that God must give/grant repentance to individuals, whether they be Jews or Gentiles, so did Simeon lie to us when he said the following?
Luke 2:29
:30 For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,
:31 Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;
:32 A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel."
Simeon wasn't arrogant; he was confident about that light, and Gentiles? God had yet to give/grant repentance to Gentiles, and yet Simeon was confident about God's salvation.
To be continued…
John

; Acts 15:18
; Heb 4:3
) through Jesus Christ, God would give/grant repentance to Israel. Huh?
"The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.
"The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.
"And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me."
"But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
"But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle [you]."
Of course, thanks to what God accomplished (I Cor 8:6
Acts 5:30
:31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand [to be] a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins."
And that God is the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob, The God, the Highest, etc. It is idolatry to ever put Jesus in the place of that God, Jesus' God, Jesus' Father, who is accomplishing some great works in the lives of those who are the workmanship of His hands. Flesh will never glory in God's presence, no matter how much you think you may qualify (word not in AKJV), repent, strive to impress that God.
So, Samuel, did you see Israel and Gentiles doing something (e.g repentance? developing "their faith?", etc.) to qualify (earn salvation) for salvation?
Sam you teach a counterfeit and fear religion to others. Have you not read the following words of what God will accomplish?
Psalm 22:26
:27 All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee."
That speaks about the world, and all kindreds of the nations! God will do it, and when nations/people "turn tunto the LORD: what means it? Jeremiah tells us:
Jeremiah 32:40
Can you, Sam Kitchen, put God's fear in your heart? No way! It's a plan God is working out, so yes Jesus was that Lamb slain before the....you know the words. It's a plan. Booklets don't get you there, because then you start to believe you have some "great part" to plan in that plan, in that salvation.
Some bottom lines:
Phil 4:19
1 Peter 5:10
Samuel Kitchen is not sinless with all of his repentance and qualifying, so just how "good" is Sam's repentance/qualifying anyway?
Time will tell...

I wrote a response to your comment a couple of days ago but it has since disappeared. I probably forgot to press the "publish" button. I don't feel much like trying to re-create my writing. But here is a summary.
I believe in compatibilistic free-will so I do not agree with you statemtn about repentance. It is nor entirely a personal choice. Christians were elect from the foundation of the Cosmos. So God knew he was going to work repentance in your life. The repentance is, in fact, a gift. It is something we would not do if left up to ourselves.
