Why Are LCG Members Continuing To Allow Satan To Beam Bad Thoughts Into Their Minds?

Satan continues to control the minds of LCG members, which causes them to question leadership and complain about real issues in the church. All of you bad little boys and girls need to understand, NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE, can complain about issues in the church! LCG has true church government personally transferred over to them by God when they apostasized from the Global Church of God and the mother church.

Satan’s Subtle Devices:
The Days of Unleavened Bread provide us with an opportunity to examine the motives in our own heart (1 Corinthians 11:29–32). Are we motivated by God’s Spirit or by the attitudes of Satan’s world? After years in the Church, we can still be snared by Satan’s devices if we are not on guard (2 Corinthians 2:11; Ephesians 6:11). Satan can beam thoughts into our minds to doubt, criticize, complain, or accuse other members of the body of Christ, which causes division in the Church (Ephesians 2:2; see 1 Corinthians 1:10–13). The Apostle Peter warned that we must recognize and resist these destructive devices (1 Peter 5:8–9). If we use time during the Days of Unleavened Bread to focus on reviewing and exercising the fruits of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22–25), we can avoid being snared by the works of the flesh (Galatians 5:19–21).

For the record, "I should leave LCG" is not a bad thought, and it doesn't come from Satan.

CORRECT!

Was it satan that spread doubts for me or was it the fact that the regional “minister” covered up all kinds of sexual deviancy while zealously punishing people for not following ever changing policies they were never informed of anyway?

It would be great if these evil organizations would stop tithe stealing and teaching false doctrines such as, the church is to receive tithes since scripture says so (it does not). Tithing is a personal choice only in these times like Abraham and Jacob chose to do as there is no earthly temple / priesthood to which tithing is due which is clearly described in scripture.

Wouldn't it also be great if those tithes stealers who formerly worked for that evil organization headed by the herbster and who took part in the tithe stealing would pay back what they stole instead of pontificating on topics that do not repay the thievery?

no2hwa, why not have an article on former paid employees of the evil wcg who talk, but do not do anything of worth to repay the evil they contributed in their roles in that organization.?

Why is it only about the current ones who are teaching falsely and stealing?

Hope this comment or entire article is not deleted as a recent one from last week that contained a response on this same topic.

People join an organization, give it ten percent of their income, plus extra contributions. In exchange, they are infantilized, robbed of their natural rights, and have have the organization's representatives follow them like dogs, being their resident critic, judge, jury and executioner. If anyone joined such a group voluntarily, they would be viewed as nuts, and in need of psychiatric help. But that's exactly what happens when people join Herb's splinters and other high control groups.
Yet these victims look down on those who leave, or practice their religion at home. This is because the victims have been brainwashed and their minds imprisoned by all manner of lies.

Those days are long gone. You write of the HQ desire to control the members but the reality of doing so was more mixed. WCG's fiasco of the member visiting programme that had to be abandoned.
Whilst microscopic controlled groups as Pack's Restored exist, I suspect even he struggles to control people as the revolving door of exiters from his group attest to.

That is an interesting photo, showing some “light,” which sometimes is “darkness,” accompanying this particular thread, and it reminds me of this scripture in Matthew 6:23, which states: “But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!”

Thinking of light, Doug strives to shed some “light” on “being snared,” but does not even quote a verse with the word "snare" in it.

For example, where is 2 Tim 2:26?

"And [that] they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will."
We might ask: how focused on reviewing and exercising the fruits of the Holy Spirit is Doug who asked: “Are we motivated by God’s Spirit or by the attitudes of Satan’s world?”

Could it be that Doug has been, unknowingly, snared?

Does Doug, turning a seemingly blind eye to the resurrected Jesus Christ’s return to earth for a second time lasting only for a 40-day period, still preach Jesus’ future “second coming?”

If yes, than Doug has been snared.

Does Doug still preach a Mickey Mouse Millennium (MMM) where another Jesus is anticipated and expected to return to planet earth “very soon” to establish reign for a 1,000 year period, which fails after Satan exits the pit?

If yes, than Doug has been snared.

Does Doug still preach God’s Plan is some 7,000 year plan of salvation? Have 6,000 years already gone by?

If yes, than Doug has been snared, and that is to be expected if Doug still believes the following words:

“But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.” Isaiah 28:13

Doug asked: “Are we motivated by God’s Spirit or by the attitudes of Satan’s world?”

If motivated by God’s Spirit, then one, being the workmanship of God’s hands, would be guided, directed, and led, and have the fruits/works of God’s Spirit being developed in one’s life by God.

If motivated by Satan’s (god’s) spirit, then one, being the workmanship of god’s hands, would be guided, directed, and led, and have the fruits/works of god’s Spirit being developed in one’s life by that god.

James knew that members of God’s Church were being directed by another spirit, because he wrote this: “…The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?”

Lust and envy are not fruits of God’s Spirit.

Perhaps Doug may want to consider those words of Paul, Isaiah and James, and consider rephasing his question to say something like the following:

“Are we motivated by God’s Spirit or by god’s (Satan’s) spirit?”

Might Doug, who has been snagged in more ways than one by this world’s present evil god, yet perceive how he, himSELF has been snared?

Time will tell…

John

These are not Satan's thoughts! They are God-given survival instincts. Winnie has it all wrong!
