David C. Pack's Part 617 Regret-O-Meter
David C. Pack of The Restored Church of God created a doctrinal minefield when he delivered "The Greatest Untold Story! (Part 617)" on January 17, 2026. Part 618 was given on January 24, and the Pastor General completely decimated the relevance of the entire previous message. The substance of Part 617 was gutted, creating very uncomfortable moments and regrettable statements when watched in the context of what came after. The Regret-O-Meter counts some of those examples, all taken from a single message.
One week after Part 617, David C. Pack reversed or erased his teachings, including which day the Kingdom comes, the arrangement and timing of Daniel's 1335/1290 days, the relevance of the Hebrew month Shevat, crediting God with what he taught, and how the Mystery of God was ending with his "big" revelations. Part 617 became a worthless hole of doctrinal errors, and the Regret-O-Meter tallies them.

Good stuff! Amazing and confusing. Reminds me of the Trump- Biden debate when Biden mumbled something. Trump said “I don’t know what he said …. I don’t think he knows what he said”!
Surely Packs followers don’t know what he said, and it is painfully obvious that DCP doesn’t know what he has said or IS saying!
On a positive note, if you don't like what Dave is teaching, just wait a week and he won't be teaching it anymore!
He sure doesn't forget "common"! If I were an RCG member (gag me with a spoon), I'd be wondering how the heck he can continue to get THE premier event in all of history wrong (Return of Jesus Christ), yet expect the members to believe that he got everything else correct! What a conundrum wrapped in an enigma in a dumpster fire that is!!! I mean, aside from the fact that God says if you get one prophecy wrong, you are presumptuous and should never again be listened to. His followers are just plain stu.................
If nobody knows what Pack is saying, does Mrs. Pack have any idea?
Maybe she is like Barbara Billingsley onboard the Airplane™ movie, who told the stewardess, "excuse me, I speak jive" and translated the street talk spoken by the 2 fellas dealing with botulism.
What if Mrs. Pack is the only one who can speak "Pack". Is she willing to translate for us so we can understand Dave's blithering blather & rich banter?
Dave Pack's problem is that he has no sense of embarrassment. The things he does do not cause him any sense of shame.
Strictly speaking, malignant narcissists don't experience normal regret but only functional regret. Functional regret is when someone regrets trading in their old car for a new car that proves less reliable than their old one. There is no guilt, remorse or shame involved.
So the common claim in ACOG-Land that morally-challenged church members had "bitterly repented" is absolute bull. It's partiality towards evil.

Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron ;
