James Malm: It Is OK To Touch Living Unclean Animals But Once They Are Dead It Is A Major Sin

True followers of James Malm's god are to immediately STOP wearing anything made with the skin of an unclean animal.  To do so is to commit a major sin against his god.  No more unclean belts or shoes.  No more unclean leather jackets or leather biker wear.  You can not sit on unclean leather seats in your vehicle or that leather chair at home.  God forbid if you happen to eat some jello!  Damnation and Armageddon fire for you!

We must not trust the apostate from Moses rabbinate to be our guide.  It would be far better to trust the scriptures themselves and learn to discern between the clean and the unclean for ourselves.  As far as source labeling, look for gelatin made from sea weed like Agar gelatin.  Vegan vegetarian labeling is far more credible than kosher  such matters.

God separated certain animals as clean and others as unclean, to teach us the object lesson that there is a difference between the holy and the profane.

Living “unclean” animals are not unclean to touch and neither is the hair or wool sheared from living animals; it is the DEAD animals that are unclean and not to by eaten or even touched.  That means that the skin and furs of dead unclean animals is not to be touched.

Good post. I think that the latter half of Leviticus 11 has been ignored for a long time, and it is proof that we should not be visiting ANY restaurant that serves unclean food at all — verse 35 proves that, and it was nice to see you place extra emphasis on that verse.
Also, thanks for the extra emphasis on touching unclean skins — consider that many shoes have pigskin leather, kangaroo leather sometimes, and more, so it is more than just fur to watch out for.
I don’t know whether the idea of clean/unclean being about “health” came from the Jews or from the COGs, but health is mentioned NOWHERE in Leviticus 11 or Deuteronomy 14. Only holiness is mentioned, and TWICE in Leviticus 11:44-45. These are instructions that have to do with us being SEPARATE from the world, HOLY, and these instructions also have to do with NOT MIXING, which is a central theme throughout the vast majority of the Law, such as not mixing cloth, seed, animals, clean and unclean, and so on.
So many people don’t understand the concept of not mixing… entertainment with a “mix” of good and bad is a real prime example of that.

The Chief Pharisee responds:

Our world is totally unclean and we must do the best we can. Our homes are polluted by the plywood and carpets etc which are put together with glue made from proteins in pig’s blood, our markets use the same utensils to cut all types of meats. And most restaurants are unclean.

All we can do is to do the best we can, and to focus on avoiding the spiritual uncleanness of association with sin, at least as much as we are concerned about physical uncleanness.

If we are careful to avoid pork, and we vicariously indulge in the sins of others [which is what spiritual uncleanness is about]; we are still unclean.

That is part of the object lesson: as James wrote James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

James Malm Says It May Be OK To Defile Yourself By Touching The Dead. The Apostles Did It, So Can You....

Can you imagine what life is like living with this legalistic bullshitter?  Talk about a truly miserable life.

UPDATE 12:EDT:  I wanted to add to todays post that we may defile ourselves to bury our dead.  A classic example being the burial of Christ and the speed with which he was buried so that the disciples could rush home and wash themselves before the evening began the first High Day of The Feast of Unleavened bread.

John 19:21   When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.  ³¹ The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, [day (Passover day) for the first Holy Day of Unleavened Bread]  that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,)

The body was buried quickly nearby because they had to rush home to wash and prepare for the High Day of Unleavened Bread which began at sunset.

John 19:44   There laid they Jesus therefore because of the Jews’ preparation day; for the sepulchre was nigh at hand.

James Malm Set To Reveal Never Before Known Secret Knowledge At Feast This Year

James Malm, Armstrongism's greatest peddler of legalistic bullshit, has announced that he will reveal never before heard new knowledge at his Feast of Tabernacles in Oregon. 

Why is it that almost every single splinter cult leader of Armstrongism has to be the recipient of some "new" hidden knowledge that their god supposedly revealed to them?

 There is not a single thing that Malm has to offer that has not been discussed  and argued over for centuries.  The people that follow Malm as just as stupid as those that follow the liar David C. Pack.  They all deserve each other.

Poor E. W. King.  The world is such a nasty place for true believers.  King and his Restored Worldwide Church of God are facing intense persecution right now.  Satan is soooooooooooooooooo angry at the truths King is supposedly teaching that people are spitting at them!  King and his ilk are getting rebuked and rejected too. Poor things!

King and his message are apparently being rejected just like Dave Pack and his message are.  No one in the various COG's cares what King and Pack are writing.

These men are called “porters”, which is to say “gate keepers”. Long ago after the Saviour ascended into heaven certain men throughout the ages changed the ordinances and specific doctrines of the true Church of God. These incidents are referred to as “apostasies”. Usually an apostasy in one church era would get so bad that God would call forth a new porter to usher in the next church era. This way God has always protected His church.” [See Mark 13:34-37]

We also read of the duty of the last time “porter” in Luke 14:16-17: “Then said He unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many: and sent His servant at super time [at supper time, about the end of the day ~ sent at the last days] to say to them that are bidden [the Laodiceans ~ them that already have a knowledge of the true gospel], Come; for all things are now ready.” But sadly most will not come. They have already made up their minds.

One yields the fruits of life, the other yields the fruits of death.

 

A Reader Responds About the COG False Prophets

A reader here responds that Herbert W Armstrong and the Church of God NEVER predicted anything was going to happen in 1975.  No tribulation, no famine, no pestilence, no war, no Petra.  Nothing   was ever predicted. We all just dreamed it up to discredit HWA, Meredith, and Waterhouse.  It apparently is all a figment of our imaginations.

I am not here to defend David C.Pack/Herbert W.Armstrong, nor bash them. However,I have read Mr . Armstrong's booklet '1975 In Prophecy',and nowhere in the booklet did he state definitively that the Great Tribulation would begin in that year. The booklet was written years before we and was an exposé on the advancement of science; and how these advancements could lead to a world that culminated in 1975. Whether you like Mr.Pack or Mr . Armstrong or not;is up to you, but I doubt any of those griping and complaining here have been as widely read or acknowledged as these two.

David C Pack: My Church is SOOOO Unified That There Is No Room For Division

David C Pack, the latest COG false prophet who's prophecy last week was an EPIC FAILURE, wrote an article for his propaganda rag, The Real Truth (sic) entitled, "The True Church—Identifying It – Part 1."  He posted this on August 30, apparently in anticipation of the world's greatest Church of God reunification ever to happen in history.

Dave, in his usual hyperventilating, "look at me" boasting, talks about the "one true church" and how it has supposedly existed through the centuries as a small insignificant little group with a certain name.  Just like Jesus who Pack (Joshua) claims to be, he too was being used by his god at an early age to receive the truth once delivered.  He was able to discern false churches from the true church.

Dave for some silly reason seems to think that he and he alone is the leader of the one true church.  As that leader, he is over the worlds most unified glorious work to ever grace the earth.  No other group of COG members are as unified as Dave's now fledgling little group.

He writes about the true remnant:

A crucial point, revealing the kind of unity to be seen in the true Church, emerges from Jesus’ earlier-referenced prayer of John 17. Notice: “And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also might be sanctified [again, set apart] through the truth…That they all may be one; as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You, that they also may be one in Us: that the world may believe that You have sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them; that they may be one, even as We are one: I in them, and You in Me, that they may be made perfect in one…” (vs. 19, 21-23).

These are powerful statements! Christ intended that His Church be unified—“one”—bound together—no less than were He and His Father!

There is no room for disagreement in a Church that is this unified. These verses describe a perfect oneness through the truth—the same kind that the Father and Christ enjoy. It is this kind of unity that allows true Christians to be “in” them—be in Christ and in the Father (vs. 21).

 With Dave's arrogant comment above it is obvious as to why no minister or church member of RCG is speaking out against Dave's lies that he has told for the last month,  There is NO ROOM for disagreement in Dave's church.  Ministers and members alike know their ass is grass if they dare to criticize the Liar in Chief.
