COGWA Upset Over New Years

The Church of God a Worldwide Association has an article up in their latest Discern (November/December 2017) magazine concerning New Years.  Like any good Church of God, they have to find everything they can wrong with it.  The problem is, some of the things they attribute to it are the exact same things they do at the Feast of Tabernacles.

New Years was always a college and church activity for those in the Pasadena area.  Hundreds of college and church members sold their souls to the devil New Year's Eve as they freely volunteered to sell programs, film, and food along the Rose Parade route.  In addition to that, they also ushered in almost all of the grandstands and served in the parking lots all along the route.  For many years the church had the exclusive rights to sell programs and film along the entire route.  Doing this brought hundreds of thousands of dollars into the college and church coffers which supposedly went into college and church activity funds for students and member activities.  Very few of those dollars ever trickled down to the members where the church paid for activities. Never once was a sermon preached on the evils of New Years.

Church members and college students/employees spent decades partying along with the public on New Year's Eve.  This includes many of the members in all of the splinter groups, including a lot of the ministry. But New Years still remains an evil Satanic activity and they find anything they can to malign it, even though their excuses sound silly and trite in 2017.

Mike Bennett writes:

In addition to its pagan roots, the fruits of this holiday are not good. For example, according to Allprobailbond.com, “the holidays are the busiest time of year for the bail bond industry.” Why?

• Increased alcohol consumption. … Driving under the influence is the leading cause for New Year’s Eve arrests.

• Increased emotions. Some people are very unhappy during the holidays. Domestic violence often increases during the holiday season as well as self-inflicted wounds. Consumption of alcohol also increases violent acts.

This sounds just like a typical COGWA or any other COG Feast site.  Alcohol consumption goes through the roof during the Feast.  Liquor stores used to stock up when COG members came into town at some of the larger Feast sites.  Ministerial dining rooms are stacked to the brim with wine, beer and all kinds of spirits that the sheeple can only dream about.

Increased emotions at the Feast time also soar.  For some, it is the struggle they have to go through to attend Feast sites.  Even though they cant afford it, they show up with a smile on their faces pretending all is right, while inwardly they are struggling.  Others get caught up in the crowd emotions at Feast sites as certain "favorite" speakers show up in all their grandiose glory.  Tears stream down some of the faces of members when they see these men.  They did it for Herbert Armstrong, and they still do it today.

COGWA goes on to warn us about getting ensnared in "pagan" worldly celebrations, even though they celebrate harvest festivals and other days taken straight from pagan ways of those nations surrounding them during their evolution as a people.  The self-righteous leaders and members bitched and moaned when Tkach and others who claimed that God could take pagan days and make the Christian observances, like Christmas and Easter, yet they turn right around and do the exact same thing when they celebrate the Feast and other days.

As usual in the COG, they spend their energy majoring in minor subjects, which in the long run actually do not matter, while ignoring that inconvenient dude they claim to follow.

COGWA continues with this:

Playing with paganism isn’t cute—it is corrosive to our relationship with the true God. When God calls Himself a “jealous God,” it’s actually a sign of His love and desire for the best for us (Deuteronomy 6:14-15).

And consider the apostle Peter’s call to avoid sinful celebrations where there is “lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries, drinking parties, and abominable idolatries” (1 Peter 4:3). Peter acknowledged that our friends may think it strange we no longer party with them, but in the end we must answer to God.

For all these reasons, celebrating the pagan holiday of New Year’s Eve is not pleasing to God.

All of the things mentioned in the second paragraph above are the exact things that still go in in COGWA, UCG, LCG, PCG, RCG and other groups.  None of these groups are pillars of virtue when it comes to being standard bearers for Christian principles. Their divisive 20+ year track record has proven that

Ron Weinland: "I am the counterpart of John who wrote the Book of Revelation"

Where would the Church of God be without all of its apostles" and "prophets?"  They somehow believe their god has appointed them to this position, but each and every one of them has self-appointed themselves to a non-existent position in the church.  It really frosts all of their pampered privileged butts that Herbert Armstrong declared that there are NO prophets in the church today.

Ron Weinland goes on to proclaim:

As time continued on, I knew and was then able to accept the fact that I was a full prophet of God. I had come to see many things God was giving me to know that only a full prophet could fulfill. However, that still was not an easy thing for me, but instead, a very uncomfortable one. Even then I did not realize that He had first made me an apostle to His Church, even before being made a prophet. God had raised up one last apostle to lead the Church from the destruction it had begun to experience in December of 1994. I was given charge to raise up a prophesied remnant of the Church that would continue on to Christ’s actual coming. 

So yes, I am both an apostle and a prophet of God and of Jesus Christ to the Church of God, and to the world, in this final period of the end-time. I am the last apostle in this age of mankind’s self-rule. 

Then, not satisfied with his role as a prophet, he claims he is the modern day John, the NEW author of revelation.

Yet even more, I am the counterpart of John who wrote the Book of Revelation. He was the only other apostle whom God also made a prophet. John wrote the book, but did not understand the revelation it contained. It was not for his time, but for the end-time that would lead up to the return of Jesus Christ in the Kingdom of God that will reign over all mankind for 1,100 years. Nearly all of the Book of Revelation is about those things that would occur in the end-time which lead to the Kingdom of God being established on earth for 1,100 years. 

Then to PROVE he is the same as John he writes:

Just as John was imprisoned and placed on the Isle of Patmos and then given the contents for the Book of Revelation that he wrote, I too am currently in prison as I am writing this book. 

When John wrote the Book of Revelation, he had no idea what he was writing.  It was not to be understood until Ron Weinland hit the scene.  Even Herbert Armstrong had no idea!

John wrote the book of Revelation, but God has given to me to show the full interpretation and full meaning of what is written in it. God gave some understanding to Herbert W. Armstrong concerning certain sections of Revelation, which primarily had to do with a great false church and a final revival of the European Roman Empire. It had six previous revivals that have often been referred to as revivals of the old Holy Roman Empire. The sixth one was primarily under the rule of Hitler during WWII. One more is prophesied to rise and has been forming for the past 66 years now. It is prophesied to become ten nations that will form the final configuration of a United States of Europe.

It is that time of year when United Church of God faithful and the not so faithful make their annual pilgrimage to Great Wolf Lodge for their Christmas week of fun time.  Like any good COG event, it has to have a theme.  This year it is, "In the World, but not of it."

Their theme is pretty hypocritical considering they want to be as close to Christmas as possible, look all the pretty lights, listen to the beautiful Christmas music and eat holiday food, but not actually "keep" it.  The Great Wolf Lodge's are known for the Christmas decorations in their facilities and events they put on.

Ron Weinland: People Hate Me Because I Am An Apostle - Like HWA and Paul

As God's only end-time apostle (sorry Almost-ordained Bob Thiel!) Ron Weinland is mocked and ridiculed on the internet by evil nasty people.  Just as Paul and HWA were mocked, Weinland claims it as a sure sign of his apostolic position in the church.

Although we had believed Christ would return in 2012, it will still be a Pentecost when he returns—Pentecost of 2019! There is great purpose “why” he did not return then, and that will be thoroughly explained. Although many ridicule and mock this change, and use it to try and discredit what I speak, people will in time become astounded why that date actually did change. 

Paul, the apostle to the gentile world, was beaten, stoned, imprisoned, and then kept under house arrest in Rome for an extended period of time before he was eventually killed. Candidly, ever since that time, people have continued in great hatred of the message that God’s apostles and teachers have brought, and as a result, many other leaders of God’s Church have been imprisoned and/or killed.

At the time of my calling, Mr. Armstrong was God’s apostle. He died in January of 1986, and yet to this day the Internet is filled with written content that contains intense hatred for him. Most of what is written contains things that have been contrived, twisted, distorted, and just plain lied about concerning him and the life he lived. Yet it is amazing that most people who read such things “choose” to believe all or at least part of what is written because their mind is prejudiced against him solely due to the doctrine he taught, the truths of God, some or all of which they reject.

There are many who have written things that are on the Internet who had been part of God’s Church at one time, but in time turned against it, just as God and Christ said would happen. These are those who had been given opportunity through a direct invitation from God to enter into a new creation, yet in time began to reject what God was o ering and teaching them. They turned from the grace, the favor, that God had shown to them.

Some of those have gone so far in their bitterness and hatred that they have done exactly what Lucifer did and their minds have now become set against God. God will not force anyone to receive His way of life if they do not want it, even if after having accepted His invitation, they later turn away; that is their free choice. God’s creation within the mind of mankind cannot be completed in anyone who does not want it. 

Ron Weinland: Eight-track Tape Player Beat Me Up And Knocked Some Sense Into Me

Now we know the reason why Ron Weinland has so many mental issues.  It seems that he was in a car wreck where his car struck a bridge, which his god apparently saved him from, but not before his eight-track tape player beat the crap out of him.

Isn't it amazing the powerful tools God uses to wake people up!  Though in this case, I am afraid his tape player played a





on him...

Another thing that began to a ect my thinking, due to the wreck, was what happened right after. Probably because of the mild concussion I received, I can vaguely remember walking away from the wrecked car and up to a farmhouse that was right next to the area of the bridge that I hit. When I walked up to the house, a farmer living there met me at the door and told me he would drive me to the hospital. I was bleeding a great deal from my head because an eight-track stereo player in the car had broken loose and had been tumbling around on the floor board and beating me about the head, and as a result, cut it in several places. That was one beating I really needed, as it literally helped to begin knocking some sense into me, although still very slowly. 

Ron Weinland: My Mind Has Undergone A Metamorphosis; I Can See Clearly Now

Ron Weinland claims his mind has been transformed into the mind that all people will be given in the millennium. As God's most important brain ever to lead a Church of God, Weinland has been blessed with a mind that does and says miraculous and amazing things...like making hundreds of false prophecies that have epically failed, and whose mind is so corrupt that it led him to lie and deceive the IRS with his money laundering skills that sent him to prison for 3 1/2 years.

His mind is so amazing that he wants you to know that it is just like the mind that will be changed in the millennium.  His mind sees crystal clear now, uninhibited by earthly lusts and desires.

I have been blessed for a long time now to be able to readily recognize human nature. I fully understand that the only reason I have been able to see this so clearly is because I am experiencing exactly what was described in the last chapter about a new creation—another spiritual creation within the mind itself. This ability and others that I have been given come from what God has been giving me, as He and His Son work through the power of the holy spirit to transform—to completely change—my way of thinking. 

As explained before, that process cannot be created by fiat from God; it cannot be instantaneously brought into existence. It requires the free will of the one to whom it is 

offered. It must be one’s own choice, and this individual must be filled with a strong desire to experience a complete change in life in one’s thinking, from the way of get to give, and from selfishness to outgoing love toward others. 

Since 1969, I have been blessed to be one of those few, who throughout the past 6,000 years have actually been experiencing that creation and its power at work in my own mind. How can such an experience be shared with others so that they can begin to grasp and understand what I am saying? It is my deep conviction that what I am sharing will begin to resonate with many who will be given the help they need so that they can begin seeing what must now change in themselves and the whole world as God intervenes to change it. 

That is why I am spending time explaining some of those things that have happened to me and the profound difference it has made on my way of thinking that is now in unity and oneness with God’s. This same process is what God is about to begin offering to the entire world, for all who are blessed to live on into the Millennium. 

This “change” that I have experienced, and that others will begin to as well, is described by the first apostle to the gentile world, Paul, where he states, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be [become] you transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Romans 12:2). 

The English word “transformed” comes from a Greek word that is used to describe this “change,” which is “metamorphoó.” This very word is the origin of another, “metamorphosis,” which is used in biology to describe a complete change in body and makeup that produces a butterfly. 

This is an incredibly awesome verse in Romans. It is about that process of a new creation whereby God actually works over many years to help one’s mind become changed—transformed into something completely different in “how” one thinks and reasons. 

Are Church Members Losing Their Ability To Buy, Sell and Hold Jobs

Life is really tough for the Kitchen clan right now.  The world is conspiring against them to prohibit their ability to buy things, sell things and to even hold a job!  That is all pretty interesting considering they just relaunched their window cleaning business to include cleaning RV's and graveyard headstones.

Vile and evil systems are working behind the scenes to bring the Kitchen's down as well as their "spiritual organism" they claim as their church.  I am sure it is those evil Jesuits!  They have been working overtime to bring down the Church of God, or should I say, Worldwide Church of God, since they have stolen the name along with all of Herb's writings and claimed them as their own.  The Jesuits have combined with Satan to sift out the Laodicean chafe that makes up most of the church today.  The only true remnant are the Kitchens, all three of them.

As usual, the god of the Kitchen's is testing them and the rest of the church.  That seems to be all their god ever does.  Everyone is automatically set up for failure due to the law they claim to follow. Their god has instructed "Christ" to come and chop some heads off on the chopping block  "Christ" seems eternally pissed off too.

When will the Kitchen's and the rest of the church ever learn to rest?  Rest in the one they claim to follow but do not.

The Church is learning to give up everything for Christ and His Work. And we are loosing the ability to buy, sell and hold a job! The Work is about to be cut short in righteousness. When the United States of Europe rises up from working underground, they will seek to kill those of the Worldwide Church of God! God's Word reveals it.(Rev. 12:14-17) 

But since WW2, that system has been working underground. And since the late 1970's it has PERSECUTED THE TRUE CHURCH! And since the death of God's apostle, God's Church has been scattered due to that persecution. Satan has set up a great sifting machine, and Gods people who hold fast, will COME OUT OF IT FOR THE BETTER! But God says to COME OUT OF IT! Not to stay in Babylon.

We, each individually, are being TESTED by God, to see if we truly love Him and His Ways, His Laws and Truth, or do we love this world? Some of your brethren ARE LUKEWARM, and riding the fence, not making known your loyalties. Jesus Christ is going to kick you off the fence, and you will have GIVE UP your life at the chopping block! Something you should have been doing all along for Christ.
