E. W. King, God's most important church leader today that still carried the mantle, The Worldwide Church of God, pictures himself as an authority on the human mind and Christian thought. His words of wisdom today states that if you have a chemical imbalance in your body it is a result of inherent sin.
In SOCT [Science Of Christian Thought] we have discussed the issues of Sinful-reaction & Positive-reaction. Much of this has to do with the way we were raised and our environment. It may also include psychosomatic issues regarding chemical imbalances, inherent sin. Growing up we all have Sinful Experiences. We witness how fallen man reacts to situations. We record these in our memory banks and they become part of the fallen thinking patterns which manifest in the reactive mind and volitional actions [Both Positive & Sinful-reactions].
He goes on to say that those who are part of worldly Christianity are blind to the truth he has to offer. It is a mental block they have developed in order to ignore God's word that he has to give them.
According to King, TRUE Christians think clearly, and those who have rejected his god's truth have blinded their minds are are now under PERFECT POSSESSION.
As true Christians we are instructed by Jesus Christ to think clearly [Christian Perception]. [Philippians 4:8] This means we understand our Christian faith. [2 Corinthians 10:5] The further one runs away from God the more danger he places himself in. It can lead to what is called Perfect Possession. The Bible states: “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world [Satan] hath BLINDED THE MINDS of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” [2 Corinthians 4:3-4] Being blind to the facts of the Bible (of what it actually teaches) is dangerous!
True Christians (only those part of E.W.Kings minuscule cult) have the ability to think clearly because they use the "mind's eye." Because they preach the Kingdom, instead of Jesus and grace, they alone have the true "light."
The true Christian, the member of the Worldwide Church of God & COGSR Ministries, has his or her “eye” [Mind] single to Christian Reality…understands proper doctrine and has pure perception. When we take our eye [Mind] off of good doctrine we get ourselves into trouble. Jesus stated: “The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.” [Luke 11:34]
King talks a lot about"clearing" one's mind. He sounds like he got stuck in a Scientology E-Meter machine and fried his brain.
He ends with this tidbit of outstanding wisdom:
*Note: Soon I hope to write information to COGSR students on how to deal with Mind Blocks. First we must become clear before we can help others realize their MB’s JCheap-tricksters will always be afraid of persecution!
I can't wait..........

Sounds a little like Scientology to me.
Sure does sound like Scientology. Getting "clear" is their big deal, and believe me, it is a never ending quest which leaves the sucker penniless.
Scientology is right. I can just picture E.W. jumping up and down on somebody's sofa right now. I'm sure it's the thetans that make him do it. I'll bet E.W. has more than the average share of thetans in his addled brain.
Maybe some day, the top of EW King's head will erupt like a volcano and spew the thetans out.
It'll be a "Pop Goes the Weasel!" thing.

PS: I'm hoping this will be the Special Music when it happens.
Does this guy actually have followers? A congregation? A compound? A Kool Aid pitcher? A cyanide extraction device?
All kidding aside, there has been some recent research delving into the relationship between pathological behaviors and genetics. This is relatively new, and untested, but Armstrongites have never been above grabbing anything new which comes along to prop up their crazy system of beliefs. That's part of what makes Armstrongism appear to be the National Enquirer version of Christianity.

Not sure which is the most surreal aspect here, what he writes, or that anyone including the author could take such patent nonsense so seriously.
If you are referring to the person that posted this as "taking King seriously" then you obviously have not read much on this blog. Everyone knows King to be wacko. The problem lies is there there are still lots of people in Armstrongism that believe this kind of drivel.
Nope. Was referring to King taking not only himself, but also all the kooky stuff he's making up so seriously.
One wonders at the damage done to the brain by choosing to be a false prophet.
Talk about chemical imbalances.
