There Are No Gay Rainbows Over Charlotte Today!

What various COG leaders envision now happening...

Did you hear all that wailing and gnashing of teeth today around 12:00 noon eastern time?  That was Rod Meredith reacting to the Supreme Court decision to allow gay marriage in the entire country.

 Rod Meredith reacting to the news....

Be prepared for a myriad of sermons and articles about the homo's and queers and how they have now brought about the final downfall of society.

This will not be limited to Rod Meredith though.  Gerald Flurry will soon start spouting his unique version of stupidity and then Dave Pack will do his version.  Dave Pack needs something to bring his name back into the limelight anyway.  After being publicly humiliated for three years in a row now  with failed prophecies, he will now have something to complain about  that takes the focus off of his miserably life.  I can't leave out God's most educated and important COG leader ever - Bob Thiel - who will soon start with his own malarkey.

Perhaps we will be blessed if one of these guys says he will do this:

Texas Pastor Rick Scarborough Is Willing To Be Burned To Death To Oppose Gay Marriage

or act like these morons:

Christian Couple Decides To Divorce If Gays Can Marry

It's no wonder people look upon Christians for being so hateful when idiots like these COG leaders and the morons above say dumb things like this.  But when legalism is the rule of life, what else should we expect?

What all these conservatives and fundys have backwards is that they haven't been stripped of anything except the feeling that they have A RIGHT to TAKE OPTIONS AWAY from other people. Nobody is forcing a fundy to marry anyone! (Unless of course, they first decide to come out of the closet...)

Regardless of what one thinks, for or against, it will soon become evident what the Most High thinks about the matter.

Well, it's now a bit past 4:20, so as the most high person present I declare it A-OK.

And wouldn't you know, I was just working on the United States Goes Gay.

Great minds and all that.

Well, now that there is Gay Marriage, then what will be the stances in liberal progressive churches for the following...

* Gay Divorce
* Gay Virginity
* Gay Fornication
* Gay Adultery

Inquiring minds need to know!

ALAS, poor Uncle Sam!

The Apostle Paul said it is better to marry rather than burn.

Gay marriage will end the fornication.

The marriage bed is honorable and undefiled.

Or so says the Apostle Paul.

And the Supreme Court.

Anyway, now that we've debunked British Israelism and proved that Armstrongism is a cult religion (I wouldn't trust their 'prophets' to predict yesterday's weather tomorrow), what is the basis of their morality? It's immoral to be a false prophet and many of their so-called 'ministers' are to be put to death (details are somewhat lacking -- for example, should it be stoning, burning at the stake, what?) and they seem to be atheists who don't actually believe in the Bible they base their phony cult ideas on. Just what is the basis of their morality (not that they have any)? It's not the Bible. They just use that as a prop to gain power and money.

In the scheme of things, which is worse -- gays who marry or the false prophets who refuse to marry them?

It will soon become evident? Is this a prophecy? A foretelling of the future?

Yep. "Maybe, therefore probably" is always a good way to arrive at what's true. When has that ever failed to work before? When has a prophetic utterance based upon such logic proven to be false? Hmm. I have to scratch my head on that one... lolz

The fact is, if there is some powerful being somewhere, he is totally unknown to mankind, and might not realize we've evolved on this planet. He doesn't answer prayers, fulfill prophecies, or yield any inkling to mankind that he even realizes we're here. In hindsight, during my 40-year search for the christian god during which time I was a true believer, I never experienced anything or witnessed anything, or saw a news story, or any event whatsoever that made it apparent to me, a faithful believer even, that the christian god does *anything* at all. And the bible, I should point out, is SO FAR from withstanding scrutiny that it isn't even funny.

If there were some powerful being paying attention to us, do you think he would really limit himself to communicating his discontent meteorologically by sending hurricanes during hurricane season and tornadoes during tornado season? I can't imagine a communication method with a worse signal-to-nose ratio. Can you? At least if he were to start raining down fire and sulphur from "heaven," the signal-to-nose ratio would be higher.

So, I will offer a counter-prophecy: it will NOT soon become evident what any powerful being might or might not think about anything. All that will happen is it will soon become even MORE evident what FUNDYS THINK their most high thinks about the matter. As if THAT wasn't already evident enough!

I'm sorry, but if there is some powerful being out there who even realizes mankind exists or thinks anything about us at all, the evidence indicates we have no reason to expect it's just about to become evident what he thinks about anything. And SCOTUS striking down laws against gay marriage is NOT a reason to expect such a far-fetched outcome.

Now just let's wait and see whose prediction comes true.

This is what happens when you get the Feds involved with what is a "states rights" issue. One cannot just move to another state if their conscious is offended by this decree.

Here is an interview I gave with a former wcg gay man that you may find interesting.

Maybe not move to another state, James, but there are always other countries that provide shelter to people who cannot tolerate living in the same jurisdiction with people whose values they find distasteful. At least the particular value of distaste for same-sex marriage, though they may have to put up with clitoridectomies, stonings, beheadings, and other expressions of sincerely held religious beliefs.

I feel deep sorrow for those gay/lesbian LCG members who will have to sit there and listen to thte vile filth coming out of Merediths mouth over the next few weeks. The same applies to the gay and lesbian members in PCG, RCG and UCG.

"people who cannot tolerate"

Yep. That's what we're dealing with, intolerant people. People who aren't satisfied that they are "free" unless everyone else is denied the freedom to exercise any options they wouldn't.

Forgive me for noticing, but I don't think "freedom" and "intolerance" are synonymous, nor do I think "freedom" is defined by what rights you're successfully able to deny others.

Fundys also get confused by "love" and "hate," and tend to think those are the same thing as well.

“What will happen now gay marriage is legal in America?”

What will happen now is that those who want to do it will now be able to do it, just like they are allowed by USA laws to do all sorts of other things that God said in the Bible not to do. This is just another one of many significant dates in the moral decline of the USA as it openly rejects the teachings of the Bible.

This reminds me of something I read a while back in a newspaper article. In the article, a homosexual was quoted as asking an interesting question that went something like, “Why should we obey God's laws?” He was referring to various things that God was quoted as saying in the Bible, such as, “If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads” (Leviticus 20:13, NIV). It appears that God takes this sort of thing very seriously.

The homosexual quoted in the newspaper article went on to say things that were even more interesting. He said, “Christians do not obey God's laws,” and he specifically mentioned them not observing the Sabbath. He was referring to various things that God was quoted as saying in the Bible, such as, “Observe the Sabbath, because it is holy to you. Anyone who desecrates it must be put to death; whoever does any work on that day must be cut off from his people. For six days, work is to be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day must be put to death” (Exodus 31:14-17, NIV). The homosexual also specifically mentioned Christians eating pork. He was referring to various things that God was quoted as saying in the Bible, such as, “'...those who eat the flesh of pigs and rats and other abominable things--they will meet their end together,' declares the LORD” (Isaiah 66:17, NIV). It appears that God takes these things very seriously too.

Of course, the homosexual was not referring to true Christians at all, but rather to the Catholics and Protestants who have sometimes been politely and euphemistically referred to as “professing Christians” in spite of their shameful, ignorant, rebellious, antichrist-like behavior. From rejecting God's Sabbath command so they can observe traditions of men like Sunday-keeping, to rejecting God's good food laws so they can eat pork, the Roman Catholic Church and its numerous Protestant daughter churches have historically always had a real hate-on for the laws of God. If the professing Christians were not such complete ignoramuses, sinners, and especially hypocrites, it could be rather awkward for them when a homosexual says, “Why should we obey God's laws? You don't!”

Those of the lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender (LGBT) crowd claim, of course, that God's laws are “abhorrent” (and it is interesting that they actually use that very word). But then, in fact, so do the professing Christians of the Roman Catholic Church and its numerous Protestant daughter churches. God's biblical Sabbath is like the strangest, most inconvenient, and almost satanic, thing that they have ever heard of, and there is no way they would ever give up eating pork. For an enlightening view of God's perspective, which is also of relevance to the USA today, check out what God was quoted as saying in the Bible would happen “if you reject my decrees and abhor my laws” (Leviticus 26:15, NIV).

Unfortunately, this viewpoint that says there are TRUE™ christians (always said by someone who thinks he's one of the TRUE™ christians), and all other christians, even other fundamentalists (who also claim to be members of some other exclusive set of TRUE™ christians) are merely "professing Christians," false christians, infidels, heretics, or some other judgmental epithet, is a form of christian hatemongering. All you're doing is judging others regarding their salvation, which is contrary to the Jesus you say you follow, you think you follow, but in fact, don't follow any better than any of the other groups you're so judgmental of. Pot, meet kettle.

Matthew 7
:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
:2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
:3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

I hope you're prepared for the judgment you heap upon others to be heaped upon you. What others do or do not do is really none of your business. And White Anglo Saxons are gentiles who don't share a common male ancestor with the Jews, so your racist prophetic speculation is totally invalid.

You seem to be judging incorrectly and unjustly here, at the very same time that you imply that it is wrong to judge at all. Why do you stick your nose in to judge and criticize here, at the very same time that you say it is nobody's business what others do or do not do? Many supposedly religious types like to misinterpret these verses to make them say that they can get away with anything as long as they don't say anything against any sin or anyone who is sinning. So, they try to keep quiet and sin without judging, thinking that will do the trick. And it is a clever trick, but not clever enough to succeed. They just can't help themselves, and always judge and criticize those who don't play along. What size beam is that in your eye that blocks your vision so badly?

The promised land vomited out its sinning inhabitants, and God brought in His chosen people the Israelites while warning them not to sin or the land would vomit them out too. God changes not and is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and is called by some the Eternal. The New Testament says that these Old Testament things were written for our example. How could the laws of the God who created everything not be important to the USA and Britain, even if HWA were wrong and the White Anglo Saxons were gentiles?
