Dave Pack: I am the Shepherd...I have trained more ministers than anyone in the church

Super Dave, not even Herbert Armstrong is as mighty as he is.  He has "shepherded" over 11,000 members, and trained more ministers than any man in the church ever has. No man in human history has ever been as great as he is.

I would love to hear from the 11.000 COG members who suffered through his church pastorates. I can be guaranteed that they have a different story than Dave does.

I’ve been a shepherd all my life. Mr. Armstrong’s background was not as a shepherd. His background was a businessman, and he began to work with the Church, and for a little while shepherd it, but pretty much got into colleges and trained others. The Church never got very large. The final man would have to be one who had spent his whole life shepherding…11,000 people…I know what I’m doing. Sometimes, I wonder why I don’t get to keep doing that. Except I understand that I can bring a grander application. I know how to do that. I’ve trained so many ministers, I don’t begin to have the fingers and toes to count them all. And I’ve seen bad ones and good ones, and men who progress, and don’t, and good ministers’ wives and bad ministers’ wives. I’ve seen monsters like this guy who just butchered his wife, and left an orphan…and all the while he was doing it, was standing behind a pulpit like I am now. No more converted than the very devil who was in him. I mean, I’ve seen at all! I’ve seen things you can’t imagine.
It took a long time, over half a century, but I know how to shepherd. I’m trained to do it, and we have a lot of good shepherds among us, some in this room, and others around the world. If you’re blessed to have a minister near you, no matter how inexperienced he is, back him up, help him. You know, the big guys sold out, but he’s there, because he didn’t, and his wife the same. Many of them don’t even have wives. Their wives left them, or they never have been married.

Sounds like David Koresh 2.0 to me!

What good is it to have shepherding skills if you believe your mission is to impose an incredibly evil system on all of humanity for all eternity?

He's the enemy, folks! Make no mistake about that.

This is a death spiral. Dave creates wacko teachings out of thin air, then tries to get away with this by putting himself on a taller pedestal. The taller the pedestal, the more wacko his theology becomes. it seems only a matter of time before he pronounces himself the son of god.
Perhaps he might settle on being the grandson of god.
And he's not the only splinter leader playing this imbicillic game.

I can't imagine any real man with a theological or ministerial background ever wanting to admit "I was trained by Dave Pack." Dave also has a tendency to believe that if you ever worked around him in any capacity, he was instrumental in your training. I can think of several who were directly trained by Dave who hated him then and hate him more today.

Part of a biography on David C Pack says: "...Standing on conviction, Mr. Pack left the Worldwide Church of God in 1993, educating and leading the way for thousands who would follow. Determined not to compromise his beliefs, Mr. Pack started RCG in May 1999..."

So, when David C Pack left WCG, and was no longer serving that organization, he no longer retained his ministerial credentials from 1993 onwards. David was another fleeing hireling who left his ministerial credentials behind. That was the rule of both HWA and Joe Tkach senior for all those ordained in WCG.

And if you never believed that rule by those two servants, then you were faithless to begin with. What kind of a hireling were you?

Yet, Dave claims:

"...I know what I’m doing..." Do you? Did God ask you to do anything? You fled, remember?

"...I’ve trained so many ministers..." Did God ask you to do that?

"...It took a long time, over half a century, but I know how to shepherd..." Really?

"...I’m trained to do it..." Did God have anything to do with your training?

So, you fled WCG and what is said about hirelings that flee?

John 10:12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.

:13 The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep."

Dave, you may not like that word hireling. Is that why you prefer to be a shepherd instead? How much did you really care for the sheep you left behind in 1993? Years go by, and in 1999 you, Dave, a former hireling of WCG, started up a man-made thing called RCG. Did God ask you to do that? No! You no longer even had your ministerial credentials!

And RCG? Join the other "alphabet-xcogs," man-made organizations, groups, associations, etc. started by former hirelings who also took up their "bat and ball" and also fled like you. Such confusion!

And you said this lie: "...I’ve been a shepherd all my life..." All your life? Were you a shepherd from age 1 to age 15? age 20? age 30? age 40?...

Now, was/is the good shepherd, but it ain't you:

John 10:14 "I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine."

And He still is the good shepherd. Do you want to compete with Him?

Oh, and you think you are above all of the "alphabet-xcog" confusion that exists all about you that you claim to so easily see?

Time will tell...

John

Don't you mean that you have deceived 11,000 people?

Here meet Dave. A liar, a thief, and a destroyer of souls. No one does it better than Dave.

You claim that Herbs and Joes 'rule' is that ministers lose their ministerial credentials when they leave that church. Another one of their 'rules' is that members cannot qualify for salvation unless they come to church services and allow themselves to be bossed around by gestapo ministers. Both Herb and Joe Snr were pathological liers and self serving rule riggers.
You fail to point to a law of nature or law of God to prove your accreditation rule.
This blog doesn't have Herbs or Joes accreditation either.

"be bossed around by gestapo ministers"

Why condemn the Gestapo for what Zion hast wrought?
