Thanks for this. One thing the COG has always done is diminished those who came before us in the faith as "so-called" Christians, deceived, and even Satan's children. Thankfully these people lived and died, sometimes horrible deaths, in full faith in Jesus Christ and freely spoke his name, unlike the Church of God today.
This will surely get under Bob Thiel's self-righteous well polished holy crown.
Thank you for this post. Absolutely delightful song of praise to God. I have seen this sung by numerous choirs over the years and it never fails to inspire me and most certainly those singing it. I have also watched numerous videos, available on YT from the Arabic Christian world, singing praise to God in extremely challenging and difficult environments which were outstanding in the shear joy they radiated. I have no doubt God was there and working in the lives of many of them. I have heard the testimonies of countless Iranians proclaiming salvation in Christ in dangerous Iran. And in Saudi Arabia where an underground church is at work. And also in Israel where it is dangerous for many to leave Judaism.The list is endless. Can God be constrained? No. And they have have never heard of HWA.
