Newsflash: Headquarters Couple Leaves The Restored Church of God
Ever deflecting and never the direct reason why people flee The Restored Church of God, David C. Pack’s fingers have not gotten tired of blaming external evils for his biblically fraudulent organization’s dwindling numbers. But certainly not the 600 sermons of malarkey.
Part 606 – November 8, 2025
@ 53:15 It's the lies and the half-truths and the misrepresentations that can cause this.
Those sound like the talking points Headquarters trains the field mollusks to say when concerned members bring up documented facts and uncomfortable reminders archived at exrcg.org.
Lies are not necessary for valid reasons to leave The Restored Church of God.
Half-truths are not necessary for valid reasons to leave The Restored Church of God.
Misrepresentations are not necessary for valid reasons to leave The Restored Church of God.
If anyone wants to find verifiable facts free of lies, half-truths, and misrepresentations, please visit exrcg.org. The channel on YouTube hosts the video evidence.
@ 53:20 Think. This husband could not possibly have believed a kingdom was just weeks away. Impossible.
No discerning, critical-thinking, bible-believing person would either. The failure of Kislev 16 on December 5 is inevitable, like the 135 others before it, and is just one uncomfortable suspicion away from being disproven by the man who taught it. At that point, the couple were not rebels. They were ahead of the curve. One of David C. Pack’s strategies is to pit husbands and wives against each other. When couples have a doctrinal issue, they try to separate them to manipulate them individually. Two men will team up to work on a woman to get her to flip on her husband. That is standard operating procedure in The Restored Church of God.
@ 1:01:24 And you can't be a pastor like I am …without weeping over people that leave.
Raise your hand if you believe David C. Pack weeps for anyone. As an added bonus during Part 606, David C. Pack paid homage to his "father in the gospel" by explaining 23 prophetic understandings that his mentor got wrong. Herbert W. Armstrong, Pastor General of the Worldwide Church of God (WCG), was forbidden by God to understand bible prophecy correctly despite being an apostle and the Messenger to the Sixth Era who led a church of over 100,000 members for fifty years.
In contrast, only Pastor General David C. Pack understands bible prophecy accurately because the Book of Revelation and Daniel have been unsealed to him. Please disregard the painful truth that he has been wrong since August 2013.
Despite being free of corporate debt, The Restored Church of God limps along without any discernible plan for the future, with no will to herald the good news of the coming Kingdom of God. No new literature. No new videos. No new advertising campaigns. No new fruits letters.
Members are aging out, and more in the Headquarters congregation have their eyes on the exits. David C. Pack will now need to ponder if that is a lie, a half-truth, misrepresentation… or a proven fact. Stay tuned.

Well, I certainly hope this couple will feel free to visit with us, share with us, and join in on our discussions here at Banned! We've been known to be an awesome support group for anyone leaving the ACOGs! By the way, congratulations. Today is the first day of the rest of your life!!!
Restored is destroying itself because of its repeated end time dates meaning nothing, hence people tire of it. Its error about the Gospel only being an end time kingdom being further reason to walk away.
What a refreshing example of family unity, and to think that it is actually happening in spite of an ACOG!!! It's enough to bring tears to the eyes!
Take that, false prophets! Bad, bad, bad dog, Dave!
I hope they don’t get trapped in another Armstrong COG
I thought only Bob understands bible prophesy correctly. Oh, I just remembered. All the splinter leaders make that claim in order to prove that they are THE CHOSEN ONE.
Dave 'The Chosen One of God' Pack.
The RCG membership must have slipped under 700 by now.
This couple have open up there bible and are reading it.. ( Deuteronomy 18 : 22 ....
yah. And the funny thing is, that scripture is in the part of the Bible where the gilding on the edges of the pages of a COGlodyte's Bible is well separated from frequent usage. Except for Revelation, the gilding in the New Testament is often still stuck even after 20 years! Especially in Galatians.
I believe Dave secretly longs to quit his own church and gets really pissed when others actually do. He's not mad. He's jealous. Perhaps his wife will ultimately lure him away?
The BAIT & SWITCH & GARBLE Cult
David C. Pack started his Restored Cash Grab (RCG) splinter cult in 1999 after having been in the Global Church of Rod splinter cult. David Pack initially claimed that he and his RCG were going to restore everything that Herbert W. Armstrong had taught at the time of HWA's death on January 16, 1986.
However, over the years, things changed. Or, rather, David Pack changed things. MASSIVELY. Now, after over 25 years of continual, mind-numbing, brain-damaging, insane babbling, David Pack has somehow managed to TOTALLY GARBLE virtually everything that Herbert W. Armstrong had ever taught about prophecy.
Those who were unfortunate enough to fall for David Pack's RCG splinter cult need to ESCAPE from it and stop supporting such evil nonsense. Being the accomplice of an insane false prophet like David Pack is a truly shameful thing that should greatly embarrass people. Continuing to put up with a new, WRONG, prophetic date guess every couple of weeks marks a person as incredibly stupid.
There are much better, or at least less evil, options out there than David Pack's RCG splinter cult.
If so, Dave missed the boat. When GTA left, many of us wished he'd come clean, and go to Hollywood, or become a network news anchor. But then, he started up his own little branch of Armstrongism. Dave is too old for any of that. His future is cooked.
Whaaa Hooo,, congratulations to the happy couple! Just don’t you dare jump to another group yet. Give it a good year and you’ll see you won’t need any such piffle. Be free!!
I agree. All of them are the same. False teachers who are merely feeding their own bellies while teaching falsehoods. Peter warned about them in 2 Peter 2:1-3
Looks like with both walking, Dave lost 100% of their common!
What's nice is that now, if they'd like, they can have a dog or cat!
We should rejoice that God called this couple away from the so-called RCG! Their punishment is now over and they can establish a meaningful life!
