Oh, praise the Lord and pass the floral arrangements—has God’s Most Exalted, Most Anointed, Most Humble Servant finally deigned to notice that his previous sermon backdrops looked like a drunk Laodicean decorated a storage unit? The Supreme Holy One has uploaded a fresh video, and behold: a brand-new painting plus two absolutely misplaced flower explosions now flanking his sacred, luminous countenance like he’s the baby Jesus in a Macy’s Christmas window display. Truly, a quantum leap forward in aesthetic holiness… if you ignore the fact that the flowers are so comically oversized and make his head and body look like a little toddler dressed in a suit.
Alas, the flailing wrists are still doing their interpretive dance routine, because apparently motor control is for lukewarm Laodiceans. And after suffering through the first three or four minutes of “umm… uh… let me… uh… turn the page… uh…” it’s clear the man’s oratorical skills remain stuck somewhere between “reading the phone book” and “hostage video.”
But fear not, brethren! The year is almost over, which means we’re one glorious trip around the sun closer to that long-overdue tribulation that will finally spank all of us rebellious, lukewarm, British-Israelite heathens upside the head. Can’t come soon enough. Onward, Ever Upward, and May His Flowers Never Wilt™!

Is there a Daniel among us who can interpret the meaning (intended or not) of the painting behind Bob's tiny little head?
Flowers are nice but not well presented as they dominate the scene far too much
I suppose he deserves kudos for making an attempt, but sometimes you just can't disguise a dumpster fire.
A real COG presenter would have a credenza behind him where the flowers would sit, along with some well-curated art objects or antique books. Do better, Bob!
It is not very Christian to mock Bob for every little thing.
This is a general observation which envelops all of Armstrongism, not just Bob Thiel. I'm going to state it as a positive so that some of the more sensitive readers don't see it as being harsh or mean-spirited.
The purest form of leadership I've ever witnessed during my walk on the planet has resulted from individuals acquiring a skill set which is obvious to everyone around them, skills which cause people to seek out that individual, and to tap into his or her knowledge. There is no coercion, no manipulation, no manufactured fear, and the person with the skills is not affected in the least if some few do not heed or listen because he knows those people will be back! It's not a contest which someone can win, and there is no gloating. Just solution.
Can anyone truthfully state that they have experienced that type of leadership within the field of Armstrongism?

Bob deserves to be mocked. His credentials are fake, as are his claim of being God's prophet.

Bob is a so-called Christian, so why can't we mock him like he mocks and ridicules Christians in the world? Fake ordination, fake double blessing, fake splinter group, fake dreams, the list goes on and on. Meredith knew what he was doing when he refused to ordain Bob and then cast him out of LCG.

I thought Bob Thiel was a Humble Man , until my eyes were opened- he talks about how great the CCOG is- being the Philadelphia Mantel remnant - him being a Prophet. He sugar coats all these wonderful things but let's his only Evangelist Evans Ocheing- the man that ordained Bob-get away with Adultery on his wife Rosemary. There's more than enough evidence to fire this Man, but Bob simple doesn't care. Looking at my sons video testament from around a year ago is shocking. Bob doesn't deny this happened, he only wrote my son that even if this is true it doesn't matter- he refers to Samuels sons and gives a lame excuse that he Bob can't be blamed because God will Judge later. So right there Bob has admitted Evans Ocheing is Guilty as Charged. It will be good when Sasha Veljics book comes out exposing all of CCOG Africa's corruption. So glad he is not in front of his tatty old curtains (that probably belonged to his grandmother), but I only ever watched one video of his, which was more than enough for one lifetime.
