The Legacy of Prediction Addiction

nakedpastor.com

This is an excellent description of the long lasting legacy of Armstrongism
and its end times prediction addiction.

This reminds me of the thousands of predictions Rod Meredith has uttered over the decades I was part of the cult. He has been crying wolf for well over 50 years that I was part of the COG. Meredith will soon be on his death bed still saying the same thing. He will then be replaced by another who will carry on predicting. He will die and another will come along. A sad, pathetic cycle that accomplishes nothing.

It is very sad that many church members take their last breath waiting for the return of jesus. Some where members of COG for10,20,30 or more years. On top of that many of them go to their death with the horrible thought that all their efforts in the end may not of been good enough to avoid the lake of fire. How horrible that men can control people like that. How can they sleep at night!!

I'm surprised we haven't been reading tons of scary material from them related to the US drought. Oops, forgot they all read here! Sorry everyone for what is about to deluge us!
