Prophet Thiel: My Predictions Are Coming True! Woo Hoo!

Prophet Thiel, the worlds foremost authority on end time prophecy, supreme authority on the Catholic Church and it's beliefs and Official Spokesman for the Living Church of God, is crowing in his blog post today on how his predictions about Iran are coming true.  I stand in awe!

The US Defense Secretary has publicly stated that the USA is willing to use its military against Iranian nuclear development:

Panetta: US force an option against Iran nukes

August 1, 2012
(AP) ASHKELON, Israel – U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said Wednesday that Iran must either negotiate acceptable limits on its nuclear program or face the possibility of U.S. military action to stop it from getting the bomb.
As regular readers of the COGwriter news page are aware, I have been warning for some time that a regional war involving Iran, Israel, the USA, and/or Syria seems likely.  The statements from Leon Panetta are further confirmation of that.

Since the Prophet is been reading and rereading prophecy he is firm in his belief that Iran will soon be neutralized:

My reading and re-reading of Bible prophecy simply does not show that Iran will be a major player in Daniel 11:21-44 nor the deal of Psalm 83:4-8; though Ezekiel 30:1-9 possibly implicates Iran. Since Iran does not seem to be identified as the leader in those particular passages, and Iran has a loud voice in the Islamic world now, those facts have somewhat led me to conclude that Iran will somehow be “neutralized.”  This neutralization may be from a regional war, internal war, economic pressure, and/or internal change.
“Neutralizing” Iran would allow most of the other Islamic states (like Saudi Arabia and Egypt) to continue to exist (Syria might not do well per Isaiah 17:1) and allow for the rising of the prophesied leader (revolution in Iran, is also another possibility, for its “neutralization”).

You can read the worlds foremost authority on prophecy in his latest article here.

My reading and re-reading of bible prophecy clearly reveal that God's people will flee to a place of safety in 1972 and await a utopian age, to be ushered in at the time of the return of Jesus Christ in 1975.

Either that, or we can go with Thiel's Iran thingy.

I would love to see Iran attacked because what would Thiel do when they kicked Israel's ass back into the stone age? Iran is not Iraq and you could kiss Tel Aviv and perhaps Jerusalem goodbye.

There is no Bible prophecy. It's all bunk and the scriptures Thiel uses to decode today were not written to do any such thing.

I'm sorry, but his "predictions" are no different to the "conspiracy theories" and speculation that have been circulating for years since 9/11 i.e. that the US has a covert agenda to engage in military conflict with Iran not unlike it did with Iraq under Bush, and all the establishment is waiting on is a "catalyst" of some kind of 9/11 proportions even to draw public opinion in its favor.

I would be really surprised if any of the Muslim nations in the middle east were able to defeat Israel, even if they all joined forces again. Not to say it couldn't happen, because if Knesset doves start micromanaging like Olmert did several years back, then they hogtie the military and don't allow them to do what they do best. However, if there is the political will to win, Israel will beat any of them, mostly because their intelligence and strategy is so superior (Stuxnet, for example--which is practically textbook Sun Tzu btw.) Why? Not because of prophecy (god, no). For the last 2,000 years, the Jewish people have had to be survivors, and by now they are bred for it. Give the Israeli military a free hand and my prediction is they will kick Iran's nuclear capability back to the stone age in one day. No need to attack the rest of the country, since they're mostly still in the stone age anyway--or the sand age at least...
