"We"?
Can't the man say "I"

Spot on, I have friends whom I love so much in RCG and I just want to yell at them and beg them to get the hell out of that mind control cult, but they are not even allowed to open or look at links that REVEAL David Pack is a COMPLETE FRAUD. The more this stuff comes out, the more thankful and relieved I am to have left.

Since I have left, I have gotten better Job offers with weekends off, a salary that is truly commensurate with my experience, and I am now more frugal than I have ever been, more able to do things and get out explore nature than I ever have, help others more than I ever was in a position to help, fall asleep knowing if I lose my job today I have things covered for a least a few months. I can eat better food. I can fix my car upon it having a trouble. I don't have to beg family to send money for help to cover my shortfalls because of all the tithes I paid and the offerings, and the fundraising, and office supply expenses expected of me.

I feel more thankful that I ever did, I feel more able to express sincere love towards others than I ever did. While in RCG many were critical of the less fortunate, and when a brother wore a shirt color other than white or blue, you could see the eyes immediately lock on that person as if they wanted to correct them. I also realized that because David Pack talked about peoples sins so much and how the entire world was sick and drenched in sin that this language he reinforced disabled me from seeing the human in people and the effort that they tried to be good humans with how their upbringing and educational and economic backgrounds turned out.

I saw this for the seven years I was in RCG, I observed so much, and I put it close to my heart to understand what I was watching. I grew weary of seeing others be taken advantage of all under the banner of "Christian Service" being a "Living Sacrifice". I was often miserable on my best day and horribly depressed on my worst. I missed being around genuine people who didn't feel offended by a difference in culture or upbringing.

I'm just glad I don't have to WASTE 15 dollars a month on the RCG mandatory coffee fund anymore. That alone was one of the things that made me realize these people were money hungry. Every single employee was forced to pay 15 dollars a month whether they were a drinker of coffee or not for this fund that most likely always had excess cash left.

The coffee tastes burnt and you got basic cream, honey, and coffee. At my current Job, they offer more than seven varieties of coffee and even more varieties of creams, sweeteners, and toppings. They are constantly boosting employees moral by allowing us to matter, and express our ideas on how to make the company more efficient, they celebrate us, give bonuses as they are able, pay into our health. Guess what, employees add value to this company.

At RCG, people pay 1st tithe, 2nd tithe, 3rd tithe, tithe of tithe, excess second tithe must be returned after FOT, offerings, coffee fund (Employees only), spokesman club fees, members are exhorted to pay into the funds for socials, must participate in fundraising which is never to the outside world but between congregations and on and on and on. This is all truly exacerbated when you work directly at rcg and are expected to wear, suits, ties, oxford shoes, maintain a clean haircut look, shave, have crisp ironed dressed shirts and shined shoes, eat healthily, maintain a decent vehicle and clean home, host for visiting members, all WHILE MAKING MINIMUM WAGE OR VERY CLOSE TO IT.

Then employees are spoken down to and made small in staff meetings and no one likes to raise their hand and offer suggestions or express concerns because the "baby face" "golden boys" "yes men" who do nothing but gossip about each others counsel sessions with members will pounce on you and correct you for appearing to cause "DIVISION".

I CANT HELP BUT POUR OUT MY HEART WHEN I SEE THESE POSTS. THIS PLACE IS THE TRUE SWAMP THAT NEEDS TO BE CLEANED UP.

I feel pain for the good people still there being tossed to and from like chaff in the wind.

Thank you for sharing your real experience and observations. Others will be forced to review their own unnecessary circumstaces and practices

It doesn't matter what he does or says, he has his members believing that the more others speak out against him, the more "right" he is. I've heard, "After all, wasn't Jesus persecuted and killed?" The longer one stays in the cage, the safer they feel and I live with one that will never leave to take a peek on the outside. I on the other hand can never go back into the cage, been there, done that.

Dave Pack cannot say anything but “I,” at least until his prophetic guesses turn out to be all wrong. Then he always changes and talks about how “WE” were honestly, sincerely mistaken. All the false prophets do the same thing.

I'm happy you are free. Some people go in being able to think for themselves and in their quest to attain salvation and the perks so often repeated end up having their minds turned to mush and rely on people like pack to do their thinking for them.

Leaving the church of God.. which isn't of God at all... is mind renewing.
I totally relate to what the man above said about struggling to see other humans as they really are and without the stain of the churches vile, unmerciful, self-righteous view covering them.
The prevailing attitude of all the various churches of "god" is that they are doing well and the rest of the world is crap. It is ugly and it does begin to color your outlook.
Thank God I have left that ugly environment.
Once you are out and see the mercy and love of God your mind clears up.
Leave the RCG and LCG and the UCG , PCG.. get out before your mind is destroyed.
Before your soul is destroyed.
Never too late to wake up.
I know that most in these groups have serious doubts and quesions but never act on them because of fear of ostracism.

He always says "we" because he is listening to all those voices in his head!

Yet within these splinters, those who escape the cage are sneeringly called 'independent Christians.'
Hmm, perhaps we should respond by calling them caged Christians.

Does everyone wonder what the certain things are that don't need to be said publicly are? What would be the most shocking thing that was said and not put out there publicly?
