COG False Prophet Releases His List of 2019 "Prophecies"

Its another year after the death of Herbert Armstrong and the self-appointed false prophets of Armstrongism are trumpeting their lists of lies that they compile in order to impress their followers.

When, in its 80 some years history, has any COG leader ever uttered a true prophecy? God certainly has not revealed any truth to them no matter how they lie about dreams and visions from their impotent god.
1. Scoffers and the Modern Media
2. Morality Prophecies Being Fulfilled Daily
3. Internet Censorship
4. Weather Sorrows and Troubles
5. Earthquakes
6. The White Horse of the Apocalypse
7. Strife and the Red Horse of War
8. Trade
9. The Deal of Daniel 9:27
10. Knowledge Increasing
11. Debt
12. US Dollar Dominance will Decrease
13. Cash and 666
14. Gold
15. Europe Will Work to Reorganize
16. Europe Will Have a Great Army
17. Steps Towards the Formation of the King of the South Will Occur
18. The Time of the Gentiles will Lead to Armageddon
19. Jews Ready to Sacrifice
These are the latest from the self-appointed leader of the improperly named "continuing" Church of God. All of this is a result of his biblical ignorance due to no real theological training or understanding and outright lies that his "god" is working through him.

From a glance at Bob's list, the only one that appears to be time dependent was Expect serious earthquakes in 2019. Since tremors occur somewhere in the world every minute, I'm sure there will be a few that could be considered "serious" - but if not, the warning is "expect", not "there will be".

Well of course massive sovereign debt will eventually lead to inflation/higher gold - that's not a prediction; that's just an extrapolation of present predicament! If 'Double-Dose' really knew the short-term direction of the price of gold, his financial worries would be over! lol

Looks like something he wrote on a napkin while eating lunch. I didn't see, however, any "Thus saith the Lord" statements. Just noticing, not scoffing :)

Hey Double-Dose:
What will be the price of GOLD at end of January??
Let's run down to the Bucket Shop and place a Bet!!

Would you be comfy going to a Naturopath, if you believed it,who claimed to be a prophet over the one and only true church on earth? I'd want to muscle test that claim

Though the subject of the New Republic magazine article is President Trump, it does apply to HWA's and others prophetic abilities.

https://newrepublic.com/article/152638/escape-trump-cult

On December 20, 1954, some 62 years before Donald Trump would be sworn in as president of the United States, Dorothy Martin and dozens of her followers crowded into her home in Chicago to await the apocalypse. The group believed that Martin, a housewife, had received a message from a planet named Clarion that the world would end in a great flood beginning at midnight, and that they, the faithful, would be rescued by an alien spacecraft.

Unbeknownst to the other “Seekers,” three of their group—Leon Festinger, Henry Riecken, and Stanley Schachter—were not there to be saved, but to observe. Psychologists from elite institutions, they had infiltrated the pseudo-cult to study Festinger’s recently elaborated theory of “cognitive dissonance.” The theory predicted that when people with strongly held beliefs were presented with contrary evidence, rather than change their minds they would seek comfort and “cognitive consonance” by convincing others to support their erroneous views.

Festinger’s prediction was right. When neither the apocalypse nor the UFO arrived, the group began proselytizing about how God had rewarded the Earth with salvation because of their vigil.

Or an advertising man. But we all did it. Why? Because there isn't necessarily any connection between one domain of knowledge or activity and another.

The Simpsons predicted President Trump many years ago, with Lisa Simpson being the president after him, and having to clean up the mess.
The Simpsons has a better prophetic record than any of the modern day prophets.

You should have compared his 2019 list with his 2018 list, which you posted last September.

There's a new #3. Two points about Europe have been combined into one. Otherwise, he's copied and pasted the exact same list.... except for "the fulfillment" of Matthew 24 and 28. Does that mean he's accomplished that one?

Concluding comment made said: "...These are the latest from the self-appointed leader of the improperly named "continuing" Church of God. All of this is a result of his biblical ignorance due to no real theological training or understanding and outright lies that his "god" is working through him."

I suspect that Jesus Christ's words applied to others far more knowledgeable than self-professing prophet Bob Thiel could also apply to Bob Thiel:

John 8:41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.
42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

And by Bob Thiel's fruitless "fruits" time continues to tell us which "god" he may be "listening" to...

Did anyone notice Malm’s presumptuous predictions or expectations in his blog? In reply to a comment by Amused Malm asserts:

“When God’s two are set up they will take over and they can make any needed changes.”

So does he imply that the Two Witnesses of God are going to “take over” his ministry?! That the Two Witnesses will even have or need an internet-based ministry I highly doubt!

He then goes on to claim:

“I expect to go to the place God has prepared...I fully expect our Lord to come well within the next 10 years, making the advent of God’s two and the onset of the tribulation probable in a year or two [as world trends and prophecy also indicate].”

So Malm expects to go to this “place of safety,” but I’d remind him about HWA and his WCG as he had “firm expectations” he was going to be one of the Two Witnesses or personally know them and/or his church would go to the “place of safety,” but we all know how well that worked out—miserably!

And Bob’s track record re predictions might be pitiful, but I reckon Malm’s is much worse! He’s claiming the Great Tribulation might begin this year when the Beast and False Prophet haven’t even been revealed yet! Neither have the Two Witnesses come on the scene yet and their ministry is focused on prophesying against the Beast and False Prophet! Further, the Two Witnesses are martyred during the Great Tribulation, which means they’ll have to begin their ministry prior to the start of the Tribulation!

Malm censors comments and alternative views that disagree with his “sacred bull” theories too! He’s just another HWA wannabe.
