The problem lies in the fact that he has spent years now lying to us as to how and why he has become a church leader. Considering that pack of lies, why should we consider him an authority on ANY matter that happens in human life? From endless failed prophecies and doctrinal heresies, the Great Bwana to Africa expects us to believe he knows just what is happening in China. Of course, it all ends up at one final point, his bitter angry god is pissed off and is spanking humanity.

Coronaviruses are a type of pestilence consistent with troubles and sorrows.
Any person with a Junior high-level reading ability can read all of this information on various news sites. We don't need some self-appointed failed prophet using this to further his lies as if what he claims is his truth and more proof that his predictions are coming true. As for the "troubles and sorrows" he and the church have been listing sorrows for 80 some years now and every single time it is an epic failure.

Well do I remember when I first heard GTA on radio back in the 1960s; he was reading Jeremiah and drawing analogies to current events. Ron Dart tells about his pre-WCG days when a fellow student (at a Protestant seminary, I think) saw a connection between biblical prophecy and world news. A British friend who probably never heard of GTA or HWA drew similar analogies. None of these guys were prophets or claimed to be prophets...

Thus, if you are around swine, you can contract flu , which is transmogrified from birds to pigs. Hence the term "avian flu". Nearly all flus come from China in origination.
If pigs were not domesticated for human consumption, then the swine to human transmission would virtually stop. It may not be the meat, but the ease of disease transmission to humans that God is protecting us from. Human organs and pig organs are very similar!

There will be a huge flood in the future.
The stock market will give back 40% sometime in the future.
There will be a political assasination.
Saying a few years ago that there would be a flu outbreak , or ebola outbreak at "some point in the future" or war in the future is proof of nothing, and is so inane! My original post and challenge to Thiel is to quote specific dates and times, for these self evident and painfully obvious "going to happen" predictions.

(Early) farmers must have noticed. Today we certainly notice while producing meat for billions.
First the Guatemalan rainforest for US beef production. Today the lungs of the earth for soy production used for food for animal used for beef production.
We got to get this under control and not suffer like Australia while supporting the Brazilian president cut down the lungs of the earth.
