PCG Continues to Arrogantly Flaunt Oklahoma and UK guidelines For Coronavirus Distancing

One thing Church of God leaders have always tried to ingrain in us that because we were sooooooo special and called out from the world that we were set apart and specially protected by God from all kinds of diseases and circumstances. Gerald Flurry, Dave Pack, Bob Thiel, Gerald Weston and other COG leaders all tell their followers this myth.

PCG sticks out above the rest for their blatant disregard to Health Dept rules in Oklahoma and the UK (which has stricter rules than the U.S does).

PCG carries on the COG tradition of using members and students as free slave labor during this time.

Meanwhile, in the UK, it is business as usual as the women trained to be docile and submissive as they cook dinner for the men who spend the day cleaning up campus grounds.

Were they temperature-checked first? Have they tested negative for COVID-19?

Judging simply by photos can be dangerous.

I emailed my cousin who is, unfortunately, attending PCG's fake college. He said they were not temperature tested.

This is the paradox in my view:

1. This church condemns the people of the United States for iniquity.
2. But the people of the United States (with the exception of some Trumpites) have made a heroic effort to help their neighbors. I have seen it.
3. This church does not make that effort, apparently, and may be responsible for accelerating the spread of contagion which may lead to untimely death for some. This is insensitivity to the safety of their neighbors.
4. Yet, this church expects to be taken to a Place of Safety by God for their righteousness.

There is something way wrong with this picture. It is like the inversion of some of the moral stories in the Bible. Like the story of Noah and the Flood but only the bad people get saved in the ark and all the good people drown.

Note: I have not verified any of the evidence in this post or other posts concerning this church.

Social distancing is largely rubbish. The virus is spread by touch. We have all bee lied to.

The photos inspired me to garden in my back yard.

To be fair to the PCG here, the campus is already so isolated it probably wouldn't make a difference. There were times during HWAC where you might not go off campus for months if you didn't go out of your way to do it. There was little to no interaction with any members of the OKC community.

do you want liberty, or safety?

those that give up liberty for safety deserve neither. (and will have neither)

That "serving" thing is just a synonym for "free labor". In my naivete' back in the day at AC I was put in a line almost the first day "for a job on campus". I did not want a job during college. I did not need one. I wanted to study and learn what, at that time, I still thought was the WCG "Seminary" had to teach me as one wanting to be in ministry. I had other seminary options but picked AC so my intent was always to go into ministry as a kid. The second day I found out if you went to AC to be a minister "Get that idea right out of your head" lol I ignored that.

Anyway I ended up four hours a day on the gardening crew. Not exactly what I wanted to do with my time and immediately almost poked my eye out with a piece of ivy that insisted on breaking and going into my eye. For a couple days I could see in two directions with one eye. lol. Went to the eye doc and when doing that close up to the face look in the eye, put his hand on me and said I was a handsome young man. lol or not lol.

Next, the Dean decided I studied too much and needed to love Basketball. I didn't play it and really didn't like to watch it. Besides, I had to watch Dave Pack be all serious and competitive. I liked to study. So to give me "balance", they put me in a white Ambassador College monkey suit to tend the American Flag and present it for the anthem or something like that at games. Ugh! I got to where "I forgot" to attend and nothing more came of it. No pay of course, just "serving"

Thus was born in my mind and realization that with the Church, it was possible to ignore stupid if you did it nicely. In ministry I learned "Ask, and you shall not have. Do not ask and all things are possible." lol.

Anyway, that "serving" thing on the campus both in PCG and for sure big time, "send it in" with RCG is simply mind control and cheap labor.

On of the great deceptions of "serving" is when the minister shows up, or in this case Gerald or his son, or a Dave Pack to "chip in". When a minister or Apostle cuts wood, repairs a roof, cuts wood, sells oranges etc it is viewed as some great an amazingly humble "serving with brethren". They get some kind of awesome credit and "did you see Mr Pack doing..." for things that everyone does on a normal and regular basis and it's not amazing at all. It's just what normal men and women do. Of course, Apostles and self appointed Prophets are NOT just normal people. "Even Mr. ___________ was there! Wow!"

Why is it that ministers are paid for their service but lay members are expected to always serve for free?

by presenting it as "service to God" it is almost impossible to opt out...that makes you unwilling to serve God...

the Baptists call everything a "ministry"...basically the same thing....makes it difficult to say no when they try to get you to do something.....(I grew up with that)

Again, I wonder about the inconsistent moderation here. Kieren's 2:27 AM post made in brief a point I made in greater length (and with some snark), but wasn't posted, while his was. Are there different moderators here who censor posts based on different standards? It's very discouraging.

These pictures run parallel to some of my own experiences. Today, I made two completely different calls. At the first place, I walked in and saw that everyone, including the business owner, had a mask in place. The styles in some cases reflected the personalities of the individuals wearing them. I've recently upgraded from Harley Davidson bandanas, which made me look like a bandit, to disposable three layer medical grade masks. But, all my friends at the first location smiled, happy to see that I shared their level of consideration.

At the second location, I didn't see any masks. As I greeted the main supervisor who was actually out on the production floor working with his team, I told him that I hoped I wasn't being offensive to them by wearing a mask, but that I'd feel absolutely horrible if I were an asymptomatic carrier and infected any of my customers. He reassured me that "It's OK, Bob. Your situation is completely different from ours, because you are out and around and meeting all kinds of people."

Probably the funniest thing going on personally is that I needed a haircut when this first all started but was really so busy in March that I didn't have time to get one. So, now, a month later, I'm starting to look the way I did back in the '80s. It's really kind of fun, and I can't wait to see how far I can take it. My grooming aids keep it plastered down for most of the morning, but as the day progresses, it relaxes and falls in my face and over my ears. Oh well, ya gotta have some ways of having fun no matter what the surrounding situation may be.

I love it man. You are fall I imagine to be. My favorite 1974 character. Long hair, sideburns, wide slacks, hue helicopters, Jimmy hendrix in the background, maybe a shirt with flowers.

By the way, PCG is disrespecting the guidelines, not holding the guidelines up for envy.

Flout, not flaunt.

Don't forget the bib overalls and Lynyrd Skynyrd music, nck. Waylon Jennings, too. Regular listener to Jimmie Rabbitt on KMET and later KROQ. The sideburns blended with the moustache, shaved chin.

I've suspected that for some time now.
