Gerry Weston: Brethren, Please rise and "sing together in your heads"

This is from a VERY reliable source on Gerald Weston's mandate on singing hymns during church services.

People might be amused to know that Weston has mandated that LCG members don't sing during song service.  They put on a rinky-dink CD accompaniment and the congregations stands holding their hymnals and they all "sing together in their heads."

This is really sad.

It reminds me of the mandate dished out to the members in the Dayton, Ohio church that we were to be in Sabbath wear when listing or watching the broadcast at home.

The other interesting thing about Gerry and his crew is that with North Carolina's COVID guidelines for meetings being so restrictive, they have members drive across the border into South Carolina for church services where the guidelines are not as restrictive and they can meet together, with or without masks.

Even their hymn book looks sad! WCG at least had the majestic auditorium on the cover. LCG has an office building. They could have at least put a lion and lamb or some other illustration on the cover. LCG is pathic all the way around!

Actually, that depiction of the LCG McOffice Building makes it look much nicer than it really is! God is truly blessing the LCG!

Now, if we could only get the LCG ministers to give their sermons “in their heads “ instead of out loud.

Their beliefs are all in their heads so the songs may as well be too

This is what COVID-19 has done.

Churches are suing California, because the Governor banned singing during worships. It's because of the Seattle example used by the CDC back in March. From what I'm reading as I check on this, New Brunswick may ban singing in schools this fall. It's because of the Seattle example used by the CDC back in March.

How about LCG humming the hymns? You don't open your mouths that way.

Idiot leadership. They think they can't be candid with the lay members. Such contempt.

This actually makes sense because singing in church has been linked with increased spread of COVID.

Yes, many cases of super-spreading COVID-19 have occurred in churches and in other types of choirs - because in singing, people project their voices and thereby the infected can also propel the virus greater distances to reach more people. I would not advise people to sit anywhere in the first six rows in a COG service because a blathering, blowhard COG minister is going to spray all kinds of evil out, including COVID-19 if he's also infected with that type of evil.

What source is this from? Also, is he enforcing that mandate on all Churches or just his local one? Even if just his local one I hope that is not true.
