Dave Pack: I am so desperate for your money that you can donate you BBQ grill and I'll get the cash...after all, everything you own is mine

From the money whores at Restored Church of God. Never has the church seen a more money-obsessed COG than with Dave Pack.

Your Offerings and Donations Are Making a Difference!

The Restored Church of God is reaching millions of people every year with the gospel of the kingdom of God. This Work is made possible by the voluntary, freely given tithes and offerings of the members of the Church and by offerings and donations of co-workers and donors around the world. This Work could not be accomplished without your support.

Over the years, we have been asked if automobiles, boats, stocks, even homes could be donated. The Church has not been in a position to accept such non-cash or “in-kind” gifts before, but that is no longer the case. In a giant step forward for the Work of God, The Restored Church of God can now facilitate all types of non-cash donations through the services of iDonate.com, which provides more options to give to the Work of God.

For an idea of what iDonate can do, here are some examples of non-cash gifts accepted by the service for other non-profits:

  • Grain: A farmer decided to donate a portion of his business inventory, which was grain ($306,000).
  • Designer Handbag: A girl used her Louis Vuitton handbag once, but decided to donate it ($950).
  • 2005 Honda Shadow: After losing her husband, a widow donated his motorcycle for which she had no use ($4,166).
  • Chaparral Ski Boat: Another woman wanted to sell her ski boat, but dreaded the selling process and instead donated it ($14,000).
  • Lynx 54” Portable Grill: One man donated his gently used grill when it came time to sell his home ($4,500).

Donating Non-Cash Items Is Simple!

To make non-cash donations go to the Member Services section of rcg.org and click the iDonate tab under “Member Options.” (Our co-workers can contact The Restored Church of God Headquarters by phone at 330-334-2266.) You will see icons under “Ways to Give.” Then click on the icon that best matches the donation you would like to make.

You will be prompted to enter some general information about your item(s) and iDonate takes it from there.*

If your item is accepted (not all are), you will receive further instructions by email.

Upon completion of the sale, proceeds are transferred to the Church and you will receive a receipt. (Note: Due to the nature of IRS guidelines regarding charitable contributions, you may or may not receive an actual dollar amount on your receipt.)

Your cash or non-cash donation can have a powerful impact on a world searching for answers. We thank you for your support.

*The Restored Church of God is not involved during any part of the non-cash donation process. The iDonate company performs a service for the Church—turning non-cash donations into funds, which allows the Church to continue preaching the gospel to the world. If you have any questions about how to donate your non-cash items to The Restored Church of God, contact the Fundraising Department at 330-334-2266.

Suppose the Wadsworth Giant Eagle (right next to the Glorious Campus) was bought out and converted over to a Piggly Wiggly grocery- imagine the horror!!!

https://www.pigglywiggly.com/

Piggly Wiggly has plenty of locations in the Charlotte area...

How soon until people are being asked to sell kidneys to "SUPPORT THE WORK"??

Upon further thought, that Piggly Wiggly standing before the Glorious Campus might just be the Abomination of Desolation spoken of by Daniel...

That The Great Packster! First you talk people out of ALL their money. Then you make sure that they hand over ALL their possessions ..

Weirdly enough this will make it even more difficult for a lot of people to leave this cult. It’s a psychological thing: the more (time, money, energy) you invest in something, the harder it will be to let it go.

Pack is not stupid, he knows exactly what he’s doing by robbing people. It means an even bigger hold on them whilst he gets all the benefits.

I wonder though.. Are the examples given REAL examples, or is it RCG-propaganda? Aiming to get the members in the right ‘spending mood’ and to make the members feel guilty for not donating their boat, etc? Because a farmer donating that much grain sounds a bit ‘grainy’ to me.

Maybe someone should contact iDonate and tell them that they are helping a very harmful cult?

Tonto - are you crazy???? Don't give them ideas like this! They could even twist the below verse to justify this.
Matt 18 v 8 New International Version
If your hand or your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life maimed or crippled than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into eternal fire.

THE SATANIC IMPOSTER CULTS

PCG: Satan's anti-gospel and anti-family cult.

RCG: Satan's “common” theft and doctrinal vomit cult.

COG-PKG: Satan's fiction cult.

CCG: Satan's mentally challenged cult.

I know for a fact that some of what they tell the members are "miracles" are purely bogus so I would expect these examples to be suspicious as well. If my husband's tractor goes missing then I guess I'll know where it went.

WHAT ABOUT THE TRUTH said...

What is very telling about this organization is that they have had a paid minister with the title of Fundraising Organizer coming up with these money stream ideas and their leader who is quick to vociferously berate the membership into participation, leaving only one thought in the members mind; where do I donate.

Did anybody else notice that they capitalized work in describing what the funds were being used for? "This Work" now takes on the same holiness as "God" and "Jesus Christ" or "He" and "Him".

The sad summation of this whole concept is that the redefined gospel of the Kingdom of God as interpreted by David Pack in his 6 year Greatest Story Never Told sermon series, was condensed into one 25 minute video on his website to which Mr. Pack declared in 2018 that he had now finally fulfilled Matt. 24:14 and that Jesus Christ would now return SHORTLY.

I have only one request from the RCG; could you please direct me to the you-refundme website?

“.. This Work is made possible by the voluntary, freely given tithes and offerings ...”

Hold on!!

If it is “voluntary, freely given tithes and offerings”, WHY is every minister always telling the members that ‘tithing is mandatory and offerings follow that same rule’?!

Or is David Pack now saying that this tithing rule has changed? Somehow I find that very hard to believe.

Probably contrived examples. Only Dave would put be foolish enough to put the $306,000 grain sale first. A normal person would go with the handbag first and move up. The article should be "A Message to RCG Farmers"
