From the Desk of David C Pack: "The Day of the Lord must still arrive shortly after the Feast of Tabernacles. The math of the Bible will not permit longer than that"

Prophecy Update

I am sending brethren this note one day before you receive the Member/Co-worker letter because I didn’t want another day to pass without you hearing from me during these extraordinary times when we are all “on pins and needles” waiting for the return of Christ and the Kingdom of God. How strange it is to say this when over 2 billion Christians of this world should all be saying the same thing when probably very few are.

With Part 306 now almost a month behind us, most are naturally wondering if we must wait another year. Just the news screams NO! We are still right where we should be. Why after giving His Church so much knowledge and such a marvelous picture would God expect us to “sit on it” until 2022 or beyond? In fact, even more has come clear. But there is not enough time for another message.

We have long wrestled with all first-day events. Suffice to say the picture is still bad. All brethren living and dead—except those kept by Christ—will face the antichrist and show where they stand through an initial “falling away first” (apostasia). After this the Man of Sin will fully test those still asleep by the Day of Christ. While sobering to contemplate, this two-phase trial means all of God’s people can be complete much sooner than we had anticipated.

Although we “see through a glass darkly” until the Kingdom arrives, never forget how far we have come in understanding. The little flock in Luke 12:32-35 is told to keep their “lights burning.” We are now in a very tight window for MANY REASONS. (If time permitted, I would explain why the first Kingdom including the Great Tribulation is the 75-day difference between the 1,335 days and 1,260, which matches the second half of the 7-year Kingdom.) Let’s continue watching and praying that we will escape all evil that lies ahead. Stay alert! We cannot have long. The Day of the Lord must still arrive shortly after the Feast of Tabernacles. The math of the Bible will not permit longer than that. It is still a little while before we could even entertain another year. You can do the math!

A broken clock is right twice a day. Sooner or later Pack will be right! The question is, will he be around to see it?

"Although we “see through a glass darkly” .... "we are now in a very tight window for many reasons" ..... "if time permitted I would explain why" ..... "we cannot have long" ..... "the Day of the Lord must arrive after the Feast of Tabernacles" .... "the math of the bible will not permit any longer than that" ....... "it is still awhile before we can even entertain another year".

Although WE see through a glass darkly, Dave SEES everything through the same dark glass.

Hmm, on the second line, is Dave sure he is correct in using g' ? I have a feeling that sermon 307 will emend that to g". But I may be wrong.

"The math of the bible..."
As usual, Pack-of-lies refuses to take personal responsibility for his dates. It's always socialize the losses.

Anonymous said...

For years Dave has said that you cannot know the day and hour of Christ's return, and that if you name a specific day, then you have just made that day a day that Christ can't return! Any day that Dave claims is "that day," by his own words cannot be "that day!" And the past 10 years of falsely proclaiming specific days for the return of Christ proves it...

Maybe his mommy should have taught him math, instead of jigsaw puzzles.

How many people are still following this demented loon? Those who're still in must be brain-dead by now, so it's impossible for them to do the math!

The Kitchen clan. They stole all of WCG's works without asking permission and in turn threaten and bully all other HWA literature sites as blasphemers and charlatans.

That's so freaking funny I almost peed my pants!

Anon 1:13 pm many of Mr. Pack's points that I read in his booklets seem logical to me. I think you should be more grateful for what he does for the world and for his false prophecies, you must also remember, no except Jesus Christ was perfect and sinless, everyone makes mistakes.

" Mr. Pack's points that I read in his booklets seem logical to me. I think you should be more grateful for what he does for the world "

There is not a single thing that David C pack has said or written that is logical or godly. He has done nothing worthwhile for the world or for any COG member except lead people astray and destroy families. He even has destroyed his own family by alienating all of his children. Where is god in that? He certainly has not turned his heart towards his children or encouraged his members to do that. He has destroyed families and ripped apart marriages while financially ruining scores of people. So even if Pack had a couple good things to say that goodness is invalidated and made mute.

Every single one of his prophecies has been a lie. Jesus is not going to return on any of the dates he keeps setting. How many more lies does he need to tell before you stop believing him? Scripture says that only one lie invalidates him and we are at over 300 sermons now filled with hundreds and hundreds of lies.

Anonymous said...

To True Christian, why would anyone be grateful for false prophecies other than to make it crystal clear what a fraud he is? Just what does he do for the world? Last I knew he only buys local property for himself and spends other people's money as fast as he can and for what? Why does he need it if Christ is coming so soon? He doesn't live a poverty life style by any means, so he certainly isn't showing any evidence of charity, he hasn't given all he has now has he? If so then why live in a compound?

The RCG literature is slowly being changed as the boys in Editorial have time. Though it's a moving target. So it's somewhat of a "bait and switch" scenario now. The literature is still 95% WCG teaching but then when you come into RCG, you find out that Dave has changed A LOT of material. Dave fits the definition of a false prophet, through and through. You can't get around that. He preaches heresy and prophesies false dates incessantly.

"No man is perfect including Mr. David C. Pack cut him some slack."

This ass is the one who has brainwashed my husband to leave me and take most of our money and give it to Pack. He tried to sell the house out from under me so he could give the proceed to Pack. Pack is a disgusting cult leader.

"No man is perfect including Mr. David C. Pack cut him some slack."

By that logic, Stalin, Pot Pol, Obama and Pack all deserve a few more years in power.

Articles like this help reinforce my suspicion that Pack is not serious, never was, but is merely using it as a tool to milk the members for more funds to maintain his lifestyle and position.
I mean, he couldn't possibly really believe the bile coming out of his own mouth, could he⸮

Michael, I think Mr. Pack believes what he teaches because he went WCG starting as an ordinary member and then went to ambassadors college and became a pastor after the fall, he went to the GCG when they watered down the truth and got fired he finally started his own group to cling to the truth Mr. Armstrong taught. Why did he join as an average member if he didn't believe? So I think he does believe.

True Christian said...

Also, Michael lets Mr.Pack is out for the money and he is wealthy so are many worldly pastors like Joel Osteen.

The point is that Dave has morally collapsed and is robbing blind his followers. At this time, he doesn't care about what's right or wrong. His attitude is one of "tell the peasants what ever they want to hear" so that he can take all their money.
And I use the undiplomatic word 'peasants' since he must secretly look down on people that he can con.

Funny how one can put a label on something and many believe it's true. Even a label like "True Christian" does not make it true!

Anon 4:27 AM right it is the evidence behind a belief that makes it true.
But some so many mega pastors are rich and probably doing it for the money and also Mr. Pack teaches the sabbath and commandment keeping that most churches are not honest enough to talk about.

I see Bob Thiel stole another post from here without acknowledging where he stole it from. He is such a deceitful little weasel.

Anonymous said...

When has Bob ever had any ethics? If he had some he would not have rebelled against LCG and the lies to everyone how God had set him apart. I also believe everything about the guy is deceitful.

The simplicity of Christ??

Anonymous said...

9:13am why do you call Pack master when Christ said to not call any man master? Mr. means master and a "True Christian" would never disobey Christ!

KM

True Christian said...

Anon 9:34 AM It is not wrong to rebel against LCG if LCG is doing the wrong thing you should not just blindly follow leaders.

True Christian said...

I call him Mr. to respect his authority in the church.

Dave Pack's parents never should have taught him how to debate and argue like a con-artist.

They should have taught him not to lie and steal like a demoniac.

Dave Pack makes math look hard, the end-time calendar look confusing, and RCG people look stupid.

Anonymous said...

Anon 8:29, I went through the same thing with my husband after he joined up with Pack. 20+ years down the drain.

Dave Pack demonstrates the awesome power of the Devil to deceive people who thought that they were the elect.

It is hard to believe how crazy Dave Pack has turned out to be.

It is hard to believe that so-called COG people could fall for someone as crazy as Dave Pack.

It is truly scary to think that any former WCG people could still be listening to a complete nut case like Dave Pack at this late date.

We live in extraordinary times, when people find it hard to tell whether someone has the Holy Spirit dwelling in them or whether they just have Dung for Brains (Too much brown matter and not enough gray matter in their skulls).

I completely ran out of any more slack to cut Dave Pack after his August 31, 2013 prophetic guess that totally failed in spite of Dave Pack's 24 given reasons + 32 not given reasons = 56 total reasons for why something big would happen then.

Over the years since then Dave Pack was been working mighty hard to become even less perfect than he was before.

Jesus said, “Beware of false prophets.”

He did NOT say, “Cut them some slack.”

PREDICTION ADDICTION is SPEEDING UP in the END TIME

In the distant past, someone said that big things would happen, not in 100 years, or even in 50 years, but in the next 15 to 20 years.

After the 15 to 20 years passed without anything happening, someone else said that you would begin to see big things happen in the next 3 to 5 years.

After the 3 to 5 years passed, again and again, without anything happening, we now have Dave Pack predicting (again and again, year after year) that big things will happen within the next 6 months or less.

Trying to look at the bright side of all this, the story is sort of getting better all the time. Now you can tell whether someone is a lying false prophet in a matter of months instead of waiting years, or even decades, to slowly figure it out.

It has been said that time will tell. Now, time has told, over and over, again and again, year after year.

Will you believe what time has told you?

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” (II Timothy 1:7, KJV).

In the RCG cult there is nothing but FEAR, HATE, and UNSOUND minds.

Hmm. The exact opposite. Very interesting.

Dave Pack concludes with saying the following: "The Day of the Lord must still arrive shortly after the Feast of Tabernacles. The math of the Bible will not permit longer than that. It is still a little while before we could even entertain another year. You can do the math!"
******
Is this Dave packs idea of "new math?"

The day of the Lord will not occur until after Satan comes out of the pit and again deceives the entire world and causes war again.

Can Dave Pack's new math be that far off?

Time will tell...

It's pretty impressive really. Dave is able to convert about 1000 people's lives into his own little fantasy land. Dave World!

You can look but don't touch! It's so beautiful your head will explode! Kaboom!
