There is no part of the moon that's permanently dark. However, at new moon, the half of the moon that's in darkness at that time =IS= FACING THE EARTH. The insults are misapplied there; the video's poster is too eager to condemn everything he says.

No, I did note that one of the things he said suggested he understands moon phases. Perhaps you missed that?
